WorksDoes what it says it will do. I had been waking up with a terrible sharp pain in the ends of my fingers, and sometimes it would also "go to sleep". Talked to my daughter that is an OT, said it was probably carpal tunnel. I try to remember to use it every night and for the most part I do not have the pain etc. 90-95% of the time. Comfortable. 4Not a stiff enough support wrap and inconsistent photosThe photos and videos for this product are inconsistent. The video shows a solid black wrap that is one piece with all Velcro underneath the wrap, but the actual product shipped has a separate piece of Velcro as the clasp and the Velcro remains on the outside. The one piece wrap in video has a much stiffer support and thick neoprene while the other is thinner fabric and much less support and the exposed Velcro clasp can get snagged on things. This product description needs fixed. Amazon gave me a refund since the item is not eligible for return. 2Light support and comfortable. It's very weird to go to bed fine and wake up with what feels like a sprained wrist.Ha! I win the klutz award, hands down.I am grateful I was able to catch this idiot condition quickly enough that I may be able to recover without any other help. I like this wrap, it's working. Why not 5 stars? The thumb hole is perfectly round, which is the wrong shape for this, and it's not reinforced so it stretches and gives when you wrap the thing on. This results in a weird, very uncomfortable pull.... but you can get around it by sticking your index finger down in the hole while you put the wrap on, so it still deserves 4 stars. 4I liked the old versionI have had other braces from Ace in the past and liked them a bit more. I will give it that the material is a good quality. The current design lends it to be a little restrictive and the bottom due to the fabric, undoing the stretch material the brace is made from so I can't put it on my wrist as snug as I am accustom to wearing a brace which makes it almost useless to me as I need the compression. That edging at the top and bottom can be rather irritating to your skin when worn all day. Also the Velcro doesn't secure as well as previous models and that is super annoying. Another product ruined by new and improved. 2so comfortableWorried that these would be a problem because they are really big and not a snug fit, nor firmly structured as i am used to, i have horrible carpal tunnel when i sleep to the point where ive had to ice my wrists in the middle of the night and have had to wear braces so tight they chaffed my hands, these are so soft and comfortable and no problems whatsoever! However i only need braces at night if you need them during the day to work these would be too chunky and big. 5Can t wear because the Velcro snags everything.So overall this product is well-made and is pretty cheap I m giving it a bad review because it s essentially worthless and I can t wear it because of a design flaw. The Velcro that attaches to the brace and secures it in place doesn t stay stuck. Well it does for the most part but the edge starts to unstick after a few minutes of wear and the Velcro then sticks to everything My clothes and the mouse pad at work, mostly. It snagged my clothes a few times the first day I wore it, and when I try to wear it at work it s constantly snagging at my mouse pad. And each time it snags it causes it to unstick a little bit more so than there is more the Velcro to keep snagging onto whatever it s catching my clothes or the mouse pad. It s incredibly annoying and who wants something snagging at their clothes all day? I have attached pictures so you can see. I ve also attached a picture showing that the tag/label is different than in the picture in the listing, though that s not a big deal to me. The other reason for the low rating is that I went to return this approximately two days after I got it because of these issues and it said that it was not eligible for return. That s extremely frustrating to me because I ve already had to order a new one because I can t keep wearing this one with this snagging issues. The pain wakes me up through the night and sometimes the pain is so severe I wake up in tears unable to calm the discomfort. But with this brace I am able to sleep through the night. The brace itself is very comfortable and I had no issues falling asleep wearing it. I wish I had bought this years ago instead of suffering. I would def suggest this for anyone suffering with CT. 5I won't me using this much.I purchased this to provide compression and stabilization to my wrist after a repetitive strain injury. I have several issues with it.The strap pulls at my thumb and holds it in an uncomfortable position.The wrap holds a lot of heat and makes my condition worse (my injury needs ice, not heat)The amount of compression is hard to adjust. It easily moves between doing nothing and cutting off circulation.The wrap does not continue down far enough to actually stabilize my wrist.The end of the wrap is bulky and lands in a spot that makes it uncomfortable to rest my wrist on the desk for computer work.I really like they way they implemented the hook & loop style of attachment. That's well done. 2This is a very nice wrist support and I will keep it for "wrist ...This is a very nice wrist support and I will keep it for "wrist only" issues that I may face in the future.I found that it did not help my DeQuervain's Tenosynovitis problem and actually aggravated my condition because it does not immobilize the thumb at all. That was my mistake for not getting the correct type of splint/support. I found that I needed a A Thumb Spica Wrist Brace instead. 4Absolute best sleep braces for carpal tunnel and/or arthritis!!!These braces are ridiculously comfortable to sleep in! They feel like wrapping your arms in pillows! I have severe carpal tunnel syndrome and arthritis in both wrists and hands. My doctor told me to sleep in my wrist braces, but I had never bought a specific sleep brace before. If you're thinking why bother, because these braces can't really be worn in the day since you can't really use your hands as well, I'm telling you it's worth it because they are so comfortable. And even though you can't do much with your hands in these, because of the cushiony pillow, sometimes when my wrists are really hurting, I just put them on and they feel better! It's because they are made to align the hand and wrist in the neutral position. The cushion pillow for the fingers is awesome. They give my tired aching arms a much needed rest and they help my numb and tingling fingers. They are also very well made. The metal splint, which you cannot even feel, is completely sewn in and cushioned so it never cuts in. The thumb hole is very wide and also never cuts into the area between your thumb and forefinger. There are three simple velcro fasteners, making them very easy to put on, even when one is already on the other hand. Very good price too for such a quality product! 5
