ACE can you hear me?I'VE had the best luck with ACE'S knee braces... So I ordered this one too; What's really working out for me is the SIDE STABILIZERS. They hold the fabric in place, it keeps it from rolling.... around the top of the thigh..SO ANNOYING!!!!!!!! Sadly these stabilizers are NOT long enough. THEY NEED TO BE THE FULL LENGTH OF THE PRODUCT OR THEY ARE USELESS. I guess i'll try to stitch it to keep them up top. As a consumer I don't want ACE to have to ship it back and yada yada yada...The last one I bought with side stabilizers that I purchased was a 207355 I did not see one of those available on AMAZON. The stabilizers are the full length of the brace and it had better/stronger elasticity.I recently wrote ACE; got a nice response so I know they care. 2Holy Grail of Knee BracesI have psoratic arthritis along with rheumatoid arthritis....double whammy . I've tried at least 8 different knee braces for my arthritic knee problems and this one is BY FAR the best. I am actually ordering a second one for my left knee just in case it gets to the point where I need a brace for it.Trust me...if you have knee problems, this will help. I've tried so many, thrown money away by getting the stretchy sleeves....they itch,, they roll down, and they basically fall apart. This one is strong and it really helps my knee pain.I suggest getting a bigger size than you think you will need. I am a female with pretty normal size legs ( except when swollen up like a inner tube ) and I really need the extra large for my really swollen knee. I am getting the large for my knee that isn't so bad.Hope this review helps someone out there who is looking for some relief. 5Know which design you're gettingI'm reviewing the Ace knee brace with side stabilizers that does not have a hole for the patella. It's one solid piece with a 3 gray downward arrows design. The reviewer pictures show an older model of the brace which did have a cut out patella. The one I just bought actually replaces one of those that I had for many years. I like this design better, the cut out version really squeezed the knee cap. My knee is 14" (5'4" & 130 lbs), and I glad I ordered a M because it is snug. Recommend ordering a size up. My box says support level 2. Since there is no option for choosing a support level, I'm assuming it's the only choice. It's fine for me, good amount of compression. 4The Brace you will use because its comfortable to wear and the price is right !The most comfortable knee brace I own. Its comfortable and you feel safe wearing it. I've tried others that cost many times more and I go back to wearing the Ace Knitted elastic brace. Its easy to put on but taking it off will take some time. I find by putting a little dusting of baby powder rinside before I using it makes taking off easier. The price is awesome, its the buy of all the braces. l 5Saves My Aging KneesFor me this is a fabulous product. I'm age 65 but still very active. I ride bikes thousands of miles a year, and hike, backpack, snowshoe and ski some as well. My knees take a beating. I tore a miniscus in my right knee skiing and had trouble on the bike come spring because of it. During my recovery I wore this Ace brace while active and for a few hours afterwards, and my knee healed completely. I then discovered that if I wear this product on both knees while backpacking or snowshoeing, I experience no pain or swelling at all. Amazing! This past weekend I completed a three day 22 mile or so backpack in the Colorado Rockies. My pack weighed about 40+ pounds, and there was a lot of uphill. I wore the Ace Knitted Knee Brace from start to finish, taking them off only for sleeping. At the end of the trek other parts of my body hurt but my knees felt generally great. Again, no swelling at all. The right about of flexibility and support. 5Comfortable brace at a great priceThis is the most comfortable and easy to wear knee brace I've tried, and I've worn a few. Even better, the price point is way below other comparable products.There is no velcro, so nothing scratches the skin or snags on other fabrics. There is no neoprene and the perforated material is quite breathable, so wear during exercise feels less sweaty. The 4 flexible "side stabilizers" are just stiff enough to do their job, but do not inhibit movement needed for walking, running, or even deep knee bends. The uniform compression effect feels soothing on my repetitive stress injured knee and enables me to continue my workouts pain-free (at a lower intensity) while my injury heals.The brace does contain latex rubber, so folks with allergies should steer clear. Other fibers include cotton, nylon, polyester, and spandex. Wash instructions recommend hand washing and air drying.A bit about me: I ordered the small and it fits great on my petite but stubby frame. I'm 5 ft 2 in, 115 lbs with fairly muscular runner's legs. 5Redesign is NOT an improvementI've worn these for years. Size small since my knee is right in the middle of the range.They have redesigned this item to be longer and the binding on the edges is exactly that....binding. It used to be thread wound around the edge and therefore would stretch.If you have well developed calves, this will constrict your calf. If you have any flesh at all above the kneecap, it will be constricted. Too long and too tight. And a medium would be too large over the knee itself.Guess I have to find a new design. These are getting donated. (bought a little while back as back-ups, cannot return) Phooey! 1Works as advertisded and expectedI've had this for a couple of weeks now and it does everything I expected it too. I have a Futuro brace without stabilizers which I've used for over a year to help stabilize my knee (tore both ligaments and damaged the cartilage over 20 years ago) and as the knee ages and cartilage loss makes it less stable, it needs help. The Futuro works... ok, and is invisible underneath clothes but the knee needed more help so I looked into compression sleeves with stabilizers and bought the Ace. Works great! The stabilizers noticeably improve side-to-side stabilization and it's still invisible underneath jeans and dress pants. I'll buy again! 5Not for meOverall I think it deserves a solid 3 rating. It's got good potential and on a shorter person it may be a lot better than it is for me. I stand 5'7.5", weigh 180 and ordered a large per measurement instructions. It fits properly but only remains in place for about 1.5-2 hours at a time. I do walk a fair amount at work, however it is not all day nor is it a fast pace walk.Pros:Compression factor is good, not lose or so tight it cuts off circulation.Sturdily made.Cons:Slips down and needs adjusted several times when worn all day at work.Supports on sides almost "dig" into you, especially when it has slipped down.Very short. I believe if length was longer it would be much better all around. 3A really good productI have arthritis in both knees and it can be very painful to walk or climb steps. I putthese braces on and felt no pain all day. These are truly wonderful and would encourageanyone experiencing knee to purchase these braces. I will be ordering another twomore just to have. Well worth the money. 5
