pads are so hugeI m not a huge fan of these pads. I got them for postpartum, but these are so huge and uncomfortable! It s like you re wearing a diaper. They absorb great and do it s job, but I only wore a couple before deciding to buy some that were much thinner. Not my cup of tea, just my opinion, everyone is different though so if you like big pads these would be perfect for you2Absorbent but leaves you wondering if there has been a "spill"So it is a good length for nighttime sleeping. But you have to position it exactly right or wind up with a major "rose tattoo" on everything. Wish it were made with a more "thirsty cover" so that moist feeling on its cover were less alarming.Despite the slight bulkiness, I also wear them during the day because being in perimenopause means overflow disasters are a sneeze, cough, and laugh away. I recommend these to all women in perimenopause who get a long messy visit from "Dear Aunt Flo" or "your friend". (Personally can't wait until it is the last one...)4Great after having a baby!These are amazing if you ve just had a baby! I was tired of the foot and half long hospital ones so graduated to these. They re long enough to protect you fully without going halfway up your back. They re also very absorbent. They re also more comfortable than the giant hospital pads.5If you have super heavy flow, look no furtherThese have served me well just when I was at my witts end with super heavy flow and nothing was up for the job. They really do last all night. Also i have been known to layer a long panty liner on the inside to ensure I am covered. If you are going thru menopause these are really a life saver and the only pads besides depends that have a snowballs chance in hell of keeping you dry thru the night. Highly recommended.5perfectworked great after having a baby :) super thin but super absorbant.5Sticky, icky, plasticky, yech.I bought these for post-partum use and they have been a complete disappointment. Hands down the most uncomfortable pad I've ever used. My main complaint is that something about the material made me feel sweaty and sticky even when completely dry. It sort of feels like you have a piece of rubber or plastic down there causing you to sweat. Other frustrations include: The extra wings on the back were difficult to get to stick to my panties. The wings themselves were small and thus inneffectual, I had to adjust the pad constantly. The size was simply too much for me, and I am not too small.I think that if you have a truly heavy flow and you are at your wits end trying to keep your clothes clean, these may be worth a try, maybe. For me however, I found myself really missing the pads at the hospital.2GREAT PROTECTION FOR HEAVY MENSTRUATION!!I purchased these to use throughout my menstrual cycle, which is extremely heavy. I'm talking about going through a Super Plus tampon AND one of these big boys in about an hour. Fun! I use them during the day when I have to be more active; my career involves A LOT of movement and various positions in a place constantly surrounded by the public, and I definitely don't want to risk a leak! They aren't loud with movement, the lining is soft and not the type that makes you feel like you have a cold, wet screen between your legs, and I feel like the thickness is ideal in terms of being absorbent, fitting, but not so bulky that you feel like you have a huge wad of toilet paper stuffed between your legs (which I've had to do in an emergency to make it home on more than one occasion... I bet you know what I mean!). I also wear these at night when I'm asleep. I'm a side sleeper, which may sound irrelevant, but those of us with heavy periods know that gravity is not our friend. They're designed for back sleepers too - again, think gravity. I've been using these for 5 months now and have never had any blood leak outside of my panties. I do have one small criticism... or just a personal annoyance, mentioned next, that perhaps contributes to the occasional spot on the side of my underwear, but what are "period panties" for if not to be soaked, bleached, or just tossed out, right? Ahh, the good ol' "only things women could possibly relate to" knowledge. :)Ok, so my one issue with them: The wing placement in relation to the length of these suckers!They have 2 sets of wings (one set actually just sticks to the inside back of your panties, as opposed to wrapping around the sides, so it's basically like having a diaper on, but it's designed that way so there are no rear leaks, especially for those who sleep on their backs). I could do without that set, but it's fine; I'd rather have too much protection than not enough! And I definitely like (and need) wings. HOWEVER, I feel like front wings (meant to wrap around the center of your panties) should be designed closer to the middle of the pad (keep in mind, this pad is over 11 inches long!) because the way it is now, IF I want the wings to wrap around the center of my panties (and I do, duh) the rear part of the pad reaches up to my low back! I have actually ended up flipping it, and wearing the front towards the back to avoid that feeling, which works for me because I'm not a "back sleeper." This is probably one of those things that just depends on the woman, her body, her anatomy, her flow, and most of all - her opinion. That's why there are plenty of choices, because pads aren't "one size works for all" but since these have prevented any leaks at night, and most importantly during the day, I'm ok with the belief that the wings are too far forward, and will continue to purchase them! If only men knew the half of what we go through while we bleed for days on end, ha!5My go-to pads for a very heavy flow!If you have a extremely heavy periods I feel for your pain luckily these are the pads to buy if you're flow is very heavy. I've ruined so much clothing,bedding,etc by buying cheap maxi pads. I was so relieved to have finally found pads that don't leak overnight,while walking, playing with kids,etc. When I factor all the laundry I was doing before I began stocking up these they're worth every penny! 5+ stars all around5PERFECT AFTER YOU HAVE A BABY!These things were a blessing after I gave birth! They are HUGE! I did not have any leaking issues at all!5grandmom statusOne day at work I got my period and had NOTHING. A coworker gave me one of these with the disclaimer that it's a LOT. And it is. I only use these like night one and night two since they are BIG and NOT sexy at all (as if you feel sexy on your period) BUT you can rest assure you will not leak and ruin another pair of underwear and/or bed sheets. They are a lifesaver on the flood of days one and two.5
