Perfect light supportI've always had weak ankles but then I fractured my fibia right above my ankle a couple of months ago. I spent 8 weeks in a boot then was put in a lace up brace for another month. The lace up brace was comfortable but it was difficult to put on and I definitely couldn't do it in a hurry. I wasn't required to wear the brace all the time, and not at all if I chose not too, but my ankle felt better with it on. So I found this and decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did! It can be put on quickly, it fits well and feels comfortable, plus gives that small amount of support that I needed. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who needs full support for an injury, but it's perfect for what I need. 5BEST Stable support!If I could rate this product as a 10 I would! I have bought about 7 different ankle braces in the past two months! BEST BEST BEST support for my ankle that I recently tore a tendon! 5THE BEST ANKLE SUPPORT EVERI don't give 5 star ratings often, but this product deserves it. I like that it is a wide band with a loop to fit securely around your fo as a starting point to wrap. Some ankle braces have been too tight for me and cut off my circulation because they are too tight. This one is adjustable so you can adjust the comfort level. 5Helps control Achillies Tendon flare ups. Works well for a runnerThis injury of mine is a PITA. When my achillies starts to hurt, it can really put a hamper on my miles. I've tried numerous straps and the biggest problem is that they all hurt the bottom of my foot because my orthotic is hard. So the strap digs in. This one isn't so bad. It actually feels soft, which feels really good on my arch.The elasticity help keep my achillies from over extending and thus less pain. After injuring tendons in my ankle, I was having trouble easily adjusting an ace bandage the same way every time, so I ordered this. I am wearing it right now. It fits like an ace bandage, the Velcro stays in place all day, and it's so comfortable I forget I'm wearing it. But best of all, it's so easy to secure I know I am using the same strength every day. It did come with instructions, but is so simple you won't need them. Strong, cute, tough, and yet gentle. I love this and would recommend to anyone in recovery from an ankle injury. 5Great braceI love this . I recently sprained my ankle and this has helped me so much. I was using an ace bandage wrap, too loose not enough support and then I tried a pull on sleeve that cut off my circulation. This is perfect because you can adjust the pressure and wrap it around to suit your needs depending on what your injury is . It has a little stretch to it when you wrap it around. It fits in my shoe a little snug but works in my wider shoes. I am very happy and would definitely buy this again if needed. Great product. 5Happy to have found these!I recently experienced a spill off of my front porch in which I injured the ligaments in my mid foot area on the left and sprained the right ankle. I was in pretty bad shape mobility wise and regular ace bandages helped, but just weren't enough to provide the support I needed without wrapping them so tight they turned my feet blue.Since I found these, I've been living in them, especially on the left foot as the right ankle has now healed, as nothing else is as comfortable as these are while providing the support I need to get around and live life as normal as possible. I still can't go out on an all-day shopping trip or the like, but I can do the stuff I need to do without having to load up on pain meds which I think is a real plus.These are easy to adjust as necessary to get the support I need, where I need it, while maintaining comfort. Because they are just a long, stretchy strap, I don't have to worry about bending an injured foot in certain ways to get them on. They are soft, don't rub raw spots on my skin, and fit into a shoe. The best part about them is they're versatile; as I need more support in the mid foot area on the left, I don't wrap it as shown in the instructions, rather I wrap around the ankle once and then wrap the rest of the strap around my foot.While these are the best things I've found for my situation, they aren't perfect. I gave them four stars because the mesh strap on the end that goes around the foot is somewhat stiff, but it isn't that noticeable once I get the wrapping on my foot, except that the seam where it is sewn onto the larger strap can be irritating, causing the area where it is laying to intensely itch. I've solved this by adding a fabric bandaid over the seam so that it can't rub on my skin, and I'm happy again. 4Good, not greatGood product for brief use. Unfortunately the design has a flaw, placing a seam exactly over the bony parts of your ankle if wrapped correctly. Good stretch, solidly made, just a little off. 3Great braceI used this brace after a broken ankle and it was very helpful. The brace the Dr's office gave me was a huge bulky thing that didn't fit in any shoes I owned, so this was a good alternative - which the Dr approved. I used it quite a bit and still do when I'm going for long hikes. It's almost as protective as the bulky one I was given and so much more comfortable and easier to put on. It's well made and I've had no problems. Thumbs up! 5
