Not my Favorite FlavorI really like the Annie Chun's noodle bowls. Super easy to make and most taste really good. The Yakisoba is my least favorite of the ones I have tried. For the most part they are all very similar so it comes down to the spices in the flavor packet and this one is just okay. I won't be ordering it again for sure.But if you enjoy Japanese cuisine it might work for you.A little tip for those who eat these regularly. I purchased some freeze dried veggies so I can add a bit more to each bowl. I put the veggies in with the water and heat that for 30 seconds then add the noodles and heart for another 90 seconds. Add the sauce and stir. Comes out perfect.3Pretty blandThis is pretty bland and not like what you would expect for the flavor. And be careful with the bowl's water guideline. I thought it was the water fill line, but it looks like they use the same bowl for they other soups. I didn't have a measuring cup, so just assumed that was where you fill water up to. The first one was wasted, but the other ones afterward with the correct water amount was not any better.2Not for hot summer deliveryArrived cooked after sitting 14 hours in delivery van in 98 degree temps. The ingredients just didn't seem correctly flavored, most likely because they arrived heat-soaked in little foil packets, the noodles were water packed and most likely simmered all day in the truck. Placed them in fridge but it was too late, done is done.This review is most likely prejudiced against the Noodle Bowl due to its' heat exposure. I might try one again when it cools down to see if it tastes any better.2Tasty, kung pao is the best flavorI really like these noodles when you're looking for something really quick. They're healthier (and tastier) than ramen, and at the time I bought these they were less expensive than buying them at the grocery store. In my opinion the best flavor is Kung pao, followed by sweet teriyaki. Pad thai is okay but I don't remember it being that great. It's not an amazing meal, but for instant noodles it's my favorite.5Embarassing to put Korean-style for these sweet chili noodles, terrible and too much sugarVery bad even for instant food. Better off with actual instant korean noodles from nongshim, they taste better, bigger portion, and little/no sugar compared to the 19g in one of these. I don't think you should eat this even if someone paid you.Edit 2/5 after realizing user-error: I didn't make these properly and with apologies to the company, will note that for prospective customers, read very carefully. Do not automatically fill up to the line like with most other products, if you are microwaving--which I would recommend to avoid the pain of draining the water awkwardly with the weak plastic lid--you only need 1/4 cup of water. Also, it's very important to put the flakes into the bowl first, so the water gets there instead of dropping them on top of the noodles where they'll stay hard, dehydrated flakes.After having made them properly, they are pretty good and very quick to make. Having said that, I still think 19g of sugar is way too much and not necessary to have this taste good but I won't take a star off as that's my own fault for not checking before purchase.5Not bad at allI sort of like these as the flavor is good but there are two things I can think of that bring it down a bit. Firstly, these aren't filling. With the right amount of sauce they have a decent flavor. Secondly, to make it into a better meal, snack, whatever, you need to add something to it. You can add chicken or pork but I prefer to get those microwavable cups of sticky white rice and mix them together. It's not going to make it that much more filling but does make it better.3Not bad..These were ok, I got them when they were on sale here. If you follow the prep instructions they turn out to be a soupy noodle. Luckily I was able to trial the remaining 5 after the first one I prepared. Pro tip is to drain the water then add all the fixings for a more flavorful dish similar to the actual photo.I love that its actual noodles and not the dehydrated ones, you can definitely feel the difference in texture. To be honest this can be prepped in your own way, but I would only buy this if it was on sale again but at regular price I probably wouldn't get again.Hope this helps!3I did not like Annie Chun's Yakisoba.Annie Chun's Yakisoba's taste did not appeal to me. It was like a cup of noodles in separate little packets. Noodles in one packet & some dried little pieces of vegetables in another, and I did not like the taste of the sauce. Sorry, I just did not care for this product. Delivery was fine. I am not particularly satisfied with my purchase. I will not buy this product again.3#5 Hard plastic container not recyclable in my areaI wish these were in an environmentally friendly package, everything else about them is great. My son is on the autism spectrum and fears the stove since he has had scares with it. These packages are a lifesaver for us. He loves the flavor and wants to eat them everyday. He remembers how to prepare them, it is super easy for him and fills him up. I hate the non recyclable package (#5) I now have houseplants in ugly plastic containers, and am trying to reuse the dish/lid for storage of things. I would happily use my own bowl and forgo the container, would be cheaper for the company and help save the planet. The biggest drawback is the container. If I could just buy the sauce packet I would invest a ton. I have not been able to replicate the flavor to his liking, so I keep buying the horrid plastic containers so my disabled son can feed himself.4Has almost as much sugar as Coca Cola and Pepsi. About 2/3's as much.Sugar content was the deciding factor. Way too much to qualify as good -for -you food. Not fit for a healthy meal. Junk food maybe? Just depends on one's sensitivity to sugar, etc. This should be posted clearly in AD page on Amazon.1
