Fail: For avid & amateur coffee drinkers alikeI was very disappointed in this coffee. Being in grad school, not only do I drink coffee everyday, but I really rely on it to keep me going with clinical, research, classes, & assignments. Let me also say, I make jet fuel with my coffee; it's brewed pretty strong. The flavor of BANNED was good, but it didn't keep me awake or alert for more than an hour. I even tried it as a cold brew to see if concentrating it would help. Nope!A friend of mine, who only drinks coffee (or anything caffeinated) a few times a year tried it & was surprised as well. She said other store bought coffee is known to last all day and well into the afternoon. However, BANNED did not even make it until noon.If all you're looking for is a good flavor with a placebo effect, then BANNED is for you. If you rely coffee to make it through a demanding schedule, you're better off with Folders or a pricey Starbucks latt for some kind of dose of caffeine. Sadly, I'll be trying other, stronger coffee brands. 1WOW !! THIS COFFEE IS REALLY GOOD AND HAS SOME GOOD KICK!Wow! This coffee is really good and has some good Kick! Nice Aroma when you open the bag. Good flavor too for a strong coffee. I drink my coffee black so I m very picky about the taste. I followed the directions: 2.5 tbspn of coffee for every 6 oz of water. Wow! You get some serious Boost!!! Seriously, I don t know how much caffeine that makes, but I was ready to climb the Himalayas! Which really helps considering the amount of work I have to go through everyday. I caught so much grief for only sending to one that I had to order more for other coffee lovers in the family! It was worth it!5pleasantly surprised. heartily recommended.my first cup was tasty, much better than the coffee I'd been drinking lately. I couldn't finish a cup of the old stuff and I kept trying new more gourmet brands but I was underwhelmed. and the caffeine never kicked in from my old coffee because I didn't drink enough. originally, I meant to order Death Wish coffee, but I mistakenly clicked on Banned Coffee. It is a vast improvement over the previous coffee I've been drinking for years. the flavor is much better, (I got whole beans so I could grind for better flavor as suggested in a few reviews), and I'm now on my second cup. I'm feeling it and I'm alert and functional and not jittery.I turned 55 in January, so I'm feeling my age what with the osteoporosis and all, so I was hoping I'd get good, strong coffee to help inspire me into doing household chores. I hate household chores. I'll get my ass to work, I'll work hard at work, but cleaning? nope. I'm pleased to report that I got what I wanted. good taste, strong caffeine content, no jitters. I'll order Death Wish as well, to compare.all in all, a good purchase.5High caffeine content does not sacrifice the taste at all!They aren't kidding about the caffeine content on this baby. I absolutely love it. I've tried jet fuel, revv, and death wish. They all taste like dirt compared to this one. It's a VERY high quality, and incredibly cheap for not only the taste, strength, but also the caffeine content. It's a smooth earthy coffee that gives the jitters the way a red bull would. So worth it.5Instead of feeling a nice lift (With Deathwish)I have been sampling highly caffeinated coffee for the last few months and they are generally a little bitter.This coffee is really smooth. I never have to add anything to it to make it more drinkable.That said; the caffeine is insane and I am generally unaffected by caffeine. Instead of feeling a nice lift (With Deathwish), this stuff will put you over the edge in 1/2 to 1 cup.This coffee is insane because it makes your heart feel like it is going to beat out of your chest.Additionally, it is hard on my stomach, which sucks. If you drink this, be ready to run to the bathroom. Coffee generally doesn't do this to me, so this came as a shock.TL:DR the caffeine content feels dangerous. Smooth taste. Have a bathroom nearby.3Extra strong taste without turning to brown acid. And a big shot of caffeine.I've been searching for strong, tasty, powerful coffee for many years. I was even one of the many people who drank instant so I could double or triple the strength easily. (Trust me, coffee companies know it's a big market.)I loved the original REV (with taurine) until they removed it. Switched to regular REV but was on a quest to find something powerful and tasty. Scouted around and tried various brands. Nothing was really strong. So I stayed with REV.But REV's recent change had me disappointed. So again I looked around. Based on the reviews, I bought a small box of BANNED and a box of SHOCK. Shock may have a lot of caffeine, but it didn't have a lot of taste.Banned is incredible. I easily wake up after drinking just half a mug, and am powered till the afternoon when I finished the mug.And yet, Banned really tastes good. Like coffee! That's all I want. A big mug of coffee. Doesn't have to be nutty or fruity or have a hint of the mountain dirt. I just want coffee.And that's Banned.5High energy, low acidI love how I can get a swift wake-up with just one cup, yet it's incredibly smooth - doesn't taste burned like so many "bold" roasts do - and no reaching for the antacid even after a second cup. That said, I don't recommend two cups back-to-back - I'm a pretty regular coffee drinker and I got some palpitations from a second cup right after my first. I drink one cup of Banned about 1-2 times a week.I kinda wish it came in a K-cup, but I have a few reusable pods for my Keurig, so this won't stop me from future purchases.5So I'll finish by saying there are some hyper-caffeinated coffee's that taste pretty aweful. Yea the caffeine is there but you'vOh my goodness this coffee is the bomb!! I am a high school teacher which by my nature makes me a caffeine hound. I sometimes have events that happen successively. With going to bed late and getting up early and working an event that lasts 12 hours and doing it all over again the next day, sometimes you need help getting going in the morning. A Lot of help sometimes. I am always on the lookout for hyper-caffeinated coffee, and I'm not gonna lie, I have my staples, but I'm so hapy to say I'm adding Banned Coffee to my list of high test coffee's.So I'll finish by saying there are some hyper-caffeinated coffee's that taste pretty aweful. Yea the caffeine is there but you've still have to get past the taste. In my opinion what makes a hyper-caffeinated coffee work for me is good if not great taste and all the extra caffeine you need to jump start your day. Don't let "The World's Strongest Coffee" deter you. It doesn't taste like a french roast, but if you're caffeine sensitive, this 98% octane blend might not allow you to sleep when your day is over. Though the descrition on the back of the package is humorus, there is a fair amount of truth inside the silliness. Sleep is for the weak!5HOLY 5#!& BATMAN, THIS STUFF IS CRAZY!This coffee is amazing. Great flavor and strong aroma. You will be awake whether you like it or not. I'm pretty sure you could pull someone out of a coma with this stuff. BE CAREFUL: WITH HOW MUCH YOU DRINK! This is not something to play with. Do not give this to someone and try to pass it off as regular coffee for a joke; you could possibly cause someone to have a heart attack. Your to-do list for the entire day will be checked off before your coffee even has time to get cold. I think this stuff is great. 24oz of this stuff in the morning has me buzzed all day and I'm a HEAVY coffee drinker. I'll keep buying it in the future for sure.5
