Exactly what I wanted!I had a friend call me and asked me to look for socks that were non-slip for her dad. He is currently in the nursing home rehabbing and his feet are a little bit swollen and the slipper socks that they provide were too small. Did a little research found these on Amazon with great reviews and explanations on sizing and this worked well. His shoe size is a size 10 and somebody said they would equate these two maybe a size 15 shoe. And that was perfect she wanted something that was a little bit big because of the swelling. Highly12-29-18I wanted something with non slip and comfortable not tight in any way. I remembered purchasing these for a friend's dad. I just polished my hard wood floors and was worried I would slip with using my fuzzy slipper socks.so O ordered them. Arrived as noted and they are warm and have a great non stick bottom. They are a bit big but stay on my feet and the non slip is great. Highly recommend!5Great For Pre & Post Foot SurgeryI have a very bad back due to a failed back surgery which made my pain 10 fold. (Don't ever have lower back surgery)Long story short, I ended up falling forward when my leg gave out and broke my big toe so bad that it required pins & screws to set it in place.This sock was great before surgery, when a regular sock was too tight and caused more pain, this oversized (XXXL) sock was loose enough to not cause any pain.After my toe surgery, my toe and foot was wrapped in so much padding that this sock was the only thing that would fit over all the padding and gauze wrap.I have to wear a big black boot that goes up to my knee to keep my toe from moving. While I'm in the house, the sock stays off. But when I go out in public, I put the sock over all the padding to keep it covered & clean, then put the boot on over the sock.For this purpose, these socks work great.And for the people saying that the rubber grip on the bottom comes off after washing them, try washing them in cold water instead of hot and don't put them in the dryer. Let them air dry.5Perfect fit socksThese socks fit perfect. My husbands feet and legs were very swollen from acute kidney failure and the hospital only had socks in XL that would not even go over his feet. These XXXL socks not only fit, they were soft and comfortable and kept him from slipping on the floor.5Great fit not too smallI was nervous because some reviews said they were too small. I wear a 13 shoe and I find these to be nice and roomy. The hospital socks were tight on her feet. She complained about them. Amazon and BHmedwear to the rescue!!! I purchased 6 for her. I received only 5 and I contacted BHmedwear. The customer service rep was fantastic and sent me the missing pair. My mom loves them!!!! She says they are very warm and comfortable on her feet. They are roomy on her feet and the material used to make them are thicker than the hospital socks. So I ordered 6 more for her. They are holding up very well. I wash them inside out and line dry. I highly recommend these socks and I will continue to order more when she needs them. I am posting a pic showing the difference between the red xxl hospital sock and the blue xxxl BHmedwear sock. I hope this helps.5User Friendly SocksI enjoy these socks very much. They are very comfortable and don't constrain my foot and ankle. They are also non-slip.They are a little loose and floppy (rather than tight) which is perfect for people with Diabetes and swollen ankles. They probably would also benefit people with skin ulcerations and neuro- muscular diseases affecting their feet and legs. Will continue to buy these as they wear out...5Best slippers of this type availableThe person I got these for loves them. They are plenty big and sized for large or swollen feet. Even if they are too large, the socks will work because they are tube socks. The rubberized nonskid portion covers a large area, so they would fit many sizes--smaller feet would just have a portion of the nonskid portion traveling up the back of the ankle. The person I got them for wears a size 10-11 but has scar tissue and edema over the foot that requires a EEE width shoe and make most of these type socks too small to pull over the instep I think these would even fit a friend with size 15 feet.5A pretty good fitMy husband has a wound on his heel that is thickly bandaged. Because of the wound he is supposed to stay off it as much as possible. Sometimes he leg swells. If that didn't happen these would be perfect, but as a precaution I have to snip down from the top to make sure they don't interfere with blood flow. They aren't really tight, but I don't want to take any chances. I have purchased other such socks that were just to tight for him to wear, so these are a vast improvement.4
