Great every day teaHaving recently tried PG Tips, the best selling tea in England and been unimpressed, I decided to change island and try the best selling tea in Ireland. What a difference! In increasing levels of importance:PG Tips took 2 weeks to come via British Mail (no tracking possible) while Barry s came in 2 day.PG Tips is packaged in a thin cardboard box (loose tea!) while Barry s come in an Aluminum foil pouch inside a cardboard box (no question which one will remain fresh longer).Last but not least, PG Tips doesn t have much taste while Barry s is a perfectly balanced blend with a lovely Assam malty note, but not too much.Conclusion: irinn go Br ch!5My favorite tea, now in an extra-large boxThe tea bags are packed in a plastic bag, not in individual boxes inside. It says "2 cup" because you can brew at least two cups of tea from each tea bag. It's strong enough to stand a spoon in, but never bitter (unless you over brew it). My friend, who is a first-generation Irish woman, says this tea is almost like her mother's custom blend.To brew a tasty cup of tea, start with boiling water, then pour it into a cup with a tea bag. When the cup is full, dip the tea bag three times, then remove it from the cup. Save the bag to brew another cup. Enjoy! I like to put a splash of half-and-half in mine.5Ireland's fave tea!I am from Ireland and in the states now and this is Ireland's most popular tea. No strings to remove it from cup like U.S. folk are used to. Tends to be on stronger side so I would suggest only letting it steep briefly/quickly, or gets bitter. Order it for us and my Irish mom in U.S.4The Best Irish Breakfast Tea!This is by far some of the best Irish Breakfast Tea out there! My wife doesn't typically enjoy Irish Breakfast teas, but prefers this over the Barry's Gold or Barry's Classic tea. If you like English Breakfast tea, this is even better. Someone referred to Lipton's yellow box tea tasting like sawdust and, after drinking Barry's tea, I must concur.
