Pictures don't lieAfter two days of drops three times a day !!!! Your giving my dog better quality of life for more time !!!! Priceless !Left picture is before the one on right is after two days of drops ! 5and I can definitely say I see better. the blurriness is goneI have been using this product for a while now, and I can definitely say I see better. the blurriness is gone. Light sensitivity is greatly improved, and even my near-vision is better. I looked at the research and improvement is enhanced if one greatly reduces or eliminates processed sugar from the diet.My night vision has been greatly improved. If there is a down side, it is that it is not a permanent fix, but the drops also make your eyes feel so much better and less dry. I'm happy that it can help me avoid eye surgery (cataract surgery) for as long as I can. I never liked the thought of having an artificial lens placed in my eyes. So I will continue to use this product for as long as I can if it can stave off that proposition. They never explain to you the down side of cataract surgery or the real risks involved.I am grateful for this product. 4WARNING Do not temp to trust this product !MY CANINE GIRL HAD CATARACT ON ONLY ONE EYE,SHE COULD SEE BEFORE,BUT AFTER USING THE CAN CAS I TRIED TO CURE THE CATARACT,CAN C WAS THE BIGGEST MISTAKE I REGRET I MADE! after the reviews,ABOUT CAN C i decided to give it a try,boy do i regret this doing of mine, b/c my poor little canine girl shitzu can not totally see now! after the use of can -c she went blind, and the other eye created a shadow too!i am going to stick to natural and only cures! 1I followed directions but hours after use severe eye painI know a great deal about medicine because of my work and I was extremely careful to follow directions exactly for these drops, including not blinking for sixty seconds after putting a drop in each eye. I experienced some burning but the directions said 1 percent of people do and it should go away. At 4 a.m. , I woke up with conjunctivitis, pus in both eyes , and difficulty seeing in my right eye. I was terrified! after washing my eyes out with pure water,the itching and pus went away in about 3 hours. I still have some redness and burning but it's better . I don't know if the product was contaminated or if i had some kind of allergic reaction but I will NEVER use these drops again. 1Significant Side EffectsAfter several days of using this product, I developed searing headaches and terrible eye strain. I tried several remedies and saw a doctor without relief before hypothesizing that the drops were the cause. I discontinued them and within 24 hours was free of all pain and related side effects.I'm not saying that this is a bad or ineffective product because I didn't use it long enough to know. I also cannot know how rare such adverse reactions are. But I wanted to post my experience in case this happens to anyone else. I was quite lucky to have found the cause of my problem because it wasn't immediately evident, even to my doctor (who knew I was taking the drops). 1It works!!!I was very skeptical about this product. The price and reviews were my main concerns. I was diagnosed with cataracts two months ago and just assumed I would have to live with my eyesight making it look like I was looking through press & seal!!! I am on my second bottle and my eyesight outside is clear as glass! If you're not ready for cataract surgery, give these drops a try and I hope they work just as well for you!!! 5Love my dogs to much and this is for others ...Not a pro review writer so please ignore the errors but I want to share this. Love my dogs to much and this is for others who are kind of sick like me. My Aussie was almost killed when he chewed on a cord. He was like a board for about 15 minutes and finally started coming to. Few months after that he started to go blind. He had huge cataracts and could no longer see. Took him to a very respected dog optometrist a few hours away and he confirmed my fears that he was basically blind. I scheduled to have the surgery done that day to get him fixed. Was something like 4k which is way to much for me but like I said I love my dogs. Wife was not to keen on the idea and she did some research and found this can be very painful for the dog on a long term basis and there was a 10% chance he would lose the eye so I started looking and found these drops. They worked!On February 11th we started to give him these drops. Two a day twice a day once in the morning and once at night. ALSO I got a prescription for Prednisolone Acetate Ophthalmic Suspension and also gave one drop of that twice a day also once in the morning and once at night. Didn't really see any benefits at all for the first four or five weeks but I's say at about week five his left eye started clearing up and he could actually follow my finger around when I would move it in front of him(omg you have no clue how excited I was). Also the white of his eyes still looked really healthy which is important because from what I read once that goes the eye is to far gone. Need to clarify this as well during those five weeks I was fighting with his eyes going blood shot now and then and I could see he was hurting so I would back off for a day if needed and kept a very close eye on those veins in the whites of his eye.Changed things up after week five as I had progress in one eye and nothing really in his left eye. Was not getting worse but not getting better. One thing I noticed the first five weeks is you waste a ton of drops because once the first one is in the next one just drips out no matter how I held his lids. So this is what I did I went to just one drop a day at night of the Prednisolone because that has a steroid and I don't know the potential long term effects and he didn't like the light when I put that in his eye. Got the big bottle much cheaper and I know I'm going to be doing this now probably for several months. Also I use the Can-C four times a day one drop in each eye and I split it up as much as possible. I still get sometimes where there was a little red and he was uncomfortable so on two of the days since I didn't give him and Prednisolone and just two drops of Can-C once in the morning at once at night. Basically no red problems now for about three weeks.Now for the crazy good news nine weeks in and he can see out of both eyes. He can run after a ball. He can see deer and birds in the field. He doesn't run into the house or garage anymore. And for good grief he no longer misses the door when running into the house. Left eye is still better than his right but that huge cloud that was in the left is no wear near as intense and his eyes actually get bigger and smaller as they are supposed to depending on the light conditions. No longer just stays big. One downside right now is right close up he can't see very good. I mean he knows it is there but if I hold a treat in front of him he sometimes misses it really sucks up close but he can see really good from like 10' and further.Going to keep going and I will update this more if anyone wants to know how it is going or if I mix it up again. Folks I really don't believe in all this voodoo crap but I'm telling you for my dog it 100% worked and I say 100% because although not perfect it is fun to see the difference in my little buddy again. I'm not an expert. I don't know if you will have the same results. I don't know if it worked because I did exactly what I did or if you don't have to be so rigid. If you do this remember this so you don't have to learn what I did:1. Split the drops up the best you can. don't do one right after the other it is not as effective and your dog will get used to it and not care after a while anyways.2. Be patient keep an eye on the whites if they are not getting nasty looking I think you have time yet. Patience is a huge factor.3. Watch for the red veins and back off if you can. Another thing along with this is if he rubs his eyes with his paws maybe back off a little I did and it hurt nothing. When the whites get nice looking again go back at it.4. Take a ball and play with them every day. Might not see anything for several weeks and then one day he tears off after it. You will smile and be happy beyond belief if it works out.5. Maybe go heavy with the steroid product at first like I did and then cut in half. I'm sure that was a factor but that one will mess with the eyes more than the Can-C be very careful just watch closely.6. Say a little prayer for your buddy I did and it is working out.Again though I don't want to hurt your animal so if you want to try this think about it or ask your vet to see if I'm nuts. Telling you though it worked for me and I stand 100% on my results. 5Great Product and Works WondersHad ordered the Can-C Eye drops and the supplement for my wife's uncle who had unoperable cataract and was completely blind. Aftre three months using two drops on each eye he is able to see television and his cataract is clearing up. Will let him see the ophthalmologist after completing six months treatment. 5and because he's run a research in New York (Northwell Health) whether cataract drops like CAN-C can helpWaited for four months before writing a review of the CAN-C drops and supplement/capsules (combo) which I have faithfully and liberally used over this period. Before starting, I got a diagnosis of a left-sup-capsular posterior cataract forming in my right eye, and my left eye had cataract surgery last year due to the accelerated cataract formation after a retinal detachment and repair/vitrectomy, etc. Consequently, I am more realistic and seasoned about my expectations for my right eye. Both eyes had many laser treatments and had retinal tears - and certainly, at 62, my vision is decent considering all I have been through with both eyes.I read many of the reviews here, and it seemed as if half the people felt it worked, about a third just tried it (and didn't have enough time to tell if it worked or not), about a third also were using it for their pets, and so the results are mixed, as are the conditions - not all of which the drops will fix. I think many of the reviewers have unrealistic expectations of what the drops can deliver and aren't willing to follow the regime long enough (for a variety of reasons), to make much of a difference. I'm willing to, and I don't mind the regime, in fact, I welcome it - I'm used to drops, don't mind refrigerating them, don't have a problem with the containers they come with, and the vitamin supplement smells, but that doesn't bother me.In fact, a few months back, shortly after I started using CAN-C, I saw my retinal surgeon for my regular visit to him, and because he's run a research in New York (Northwell Health) whether cataract drops like CAN-C can help. Actually, I was surprised by his answer - he said that the debate over these treatments had been discussed since the 1950's in the medical community, and there wasn't any real consensus one way or the other on their efficacy. However, the profession decided that most people would never want to put up with the regime and that it was actually cheaper and got a better result by simply doing the surgery, which almost every will eventually need. And I admit, the vision in my left eye that has a cataract lens is better than anything I'm likely to ever see in my right eye, just due to the aging eye, the fluid inside, the lens, floaters - none of which CAN-C can entirely fix. Yet, the vision is getting better and perhaps the drops can gradually improve it, and perhaps reverse some of it.Having said that - I am happy with the results I have gotten so far and will continue with the drops for a while - perhaps by the end of the year, I will have a better idea if the subcapsular cataract can be improved with the eye drop/supplement combo.Results:- Vision in right eye went from 20/30+ to 20/25 (perhaps a little better)- My doctor still saw sub-capsular posterior cataract in my right eye but did not indicate if it improved or not.- I noticed my vision has improved gradually and become clearer at night and I can overall, see better - and I will continue taking the drops. Overall, feel I am getting somewhere with the drops and my next visit is at the end of the year - by then I would think I would know for sure how much my eye has improved.That's not bad results - all things considered.And, I know that many people in this thread are saying these drops are expensive - but for me, the price isn't an issue - I don't think a bottle of CAN-C, at end of the day, is any more expensive than your average eye drops at Duane Reede or CVS. I don't see how you can miss with the vitamins either - clearly the retina and vitreous fluid needs support, if you go buy the supplements in the drug stores, they're just as expensive, maybe more.So, for all of you who whine about the price - if you buy Refresh or Thera Tears, you'd spend as much for a bottle.Finally, don't look for miracles here, I'm not, but I am hopeful, and as long as I see gradual improvement, will continue with this regime, probably for years. 5These are great! I've used since 2004.After being told I had beginning cataracts in 2004 and would need surgery, probably within 5 years...wow, I was horrified! I did not want to go that path. A few years earlier, my mom did, then she developed secondary cataracts and needed laser surgery, next she developed glaucoma with some loss of central vision and uses 3 eye drops per eye twice a day; she had SLT laser surgery with little improvement. I started the drops and, in my case, within 3 weeks almost all of my problems were resolved. I have continued using 1 drop per day per eye since then; 2 if my eyes get blurry, irritated, or itchy OR if I've eaten an unusual amount of sugars (holidays/celebrations). The drops always help. While my eye exams have shown I still have cataracts, I am not bothered by problems I had with glare, not seeing well during twilight, and headaches from eye strain. If I had other problems back in 2004, I cannot remember them. Altogether, these eye drops are great!Prior to beginning these drops, I researched Anti-aging Systems, the articles by the developer, and talked to an NIH eye researcher. 5
