I am taking a high dose to help with arthritis in my back. The cod liver oil pills do not stick together in the bottle and although they are a large pill, swallowing are easy. I will be ordering them again regularly. 4No longer wild fish oilI have been using this for about a year for my family, always ordering on Amazon. The most recent shipment, the label has changed in a number of ways, but the most important is probably that it no longer says it s wild. It s fine that they changed their formulation, but felt it was a bit sneaky as the price is the same and it is not the same product when I hit Reorder though it makes no mention of a change. I will be on the hunt for a new brand. 3So far so good -I'm testing this product out to see how it works for me.My sister was at a friend's house and her friend was taking this brand of cod liver oil for her health and she swore by it. She gave my sister some capsels to try. After a week my sister started noticing a big difference in her back pain and hips. Her doc was going to give her a cortisone shot but she told him she didn't need it now that she was on these.I talked with Sis last week and she told me about these for my severe rheumatioid arthritis, to just try them. So I bought a bottle of the lemon (her and her friend were using the unflavored) and have been taking them a few days now. It feels like a bit of the inflammation may be starting to decrese. My fingers, shoulders, knees, elbows aren't feeling as stiff and swollen...even my spine feels looser instead of so stiff. I've upped to 3 per day, with meals, and will work up to 5 per day.I've chewed these (at the review of another) and they taste like a lemon gummy without the sugar. Not bad if you can't swallow a large capsul, you can chew it. No fishy taste or smell at all. These don't have a lot of Vitamin A or D to harm your body when you take 5 per day...a big plus!I'll keep you posted on how well this works for RA inflammation.ETA: It's been a few weeks now that I've been taking these. It really has knocked down a bit of inflammation. Now I can't tell if only the Cod Liver Oil is working because last week my doc put me on a new anti-inflammatory and it's done more then even the super-powerful meds I've been on for severe RA. I'll continue to take these, it could be the combination. 5Storage InfoJust wanted to let everyone know that I contacted the brand because I was concerned about storing these capsules. They said they don't have to be refrigerated, in a cabinet or on your counter is fine. Also, they are stamped underneath the container for expiration date. Years ago i tried Cod Liver Oil from my local health store, at the dosage recommended my doctor, in the hopes of clearing my skin, with no results. I was hesitant to try again after skinking so much money into this. It's been a few years and I've done my research well enough to conclude that this is the best quality at the most reasonable price, with the least aftertaste.This actually did what I was hoping for! I've been taking it for about a month now, and my skin is drastically clearer. Any new acne heals quicker, and my eczema on my elbows isn't as bad as usual. It also doesn't have an aftertaste and the "lemon burp" is very mild.I've read reviewers say that this helps them fend off colds and helps with sinus pressure related to allergies. I'm not sure if this is wishful thinking/placebo effect, but I'd swear the cold I just caught disappeared much quicker and my sinus headaches and allergies, which get worse with the colder weather, have decreased too. Overall I'm very pleased with this and will continue buying it. 5This stuff is amazing!I started taking it for osteo arthritis pain in my wrists. I started with 2 or 3 a day and was able to stay pain free with only 1 capsule per day. I'm glad I read other reviews because I cant swallow big pills. You can bite them and the lemon taste is delicious (add a bite of cool whip with it-Yum!) I missed a few days and the pain came back, so need to make it a regular habit. This stuff really works. There are so many in this bottle, it is a great value and seems to be a great quality and trusted brand. will definitely purchase again. 5Great!I grew up taking a spoon of cod liver oil at the first sign of a cough or a cold per my maternal grandmother. Of course it was horrible! Now, with the gel caps, it's less traumatic because you don't taste the oil and Carlson brand, you don't burp it like other brands. It's also good if you don't eat a lot of fish and you need the omega-3s. If you have problems with heart palpitations, don't use this supplement. 5FINALLY clearI have been suffering with hormonal acne for as long as I can remember. From age 12-24. I have tried every product, supplement, as well as recommendations from the dermatologist. NOTHING worked. I take two of these a day, along with 2 capsules of DIM and my acne is almost completely gone. I have never seen my skin so clear. I will still get a pimple here and there but NOTHING like what it was. This product is worth every penny. Along with these supplements, I am washing my face daily with all natural products from Lush. Hope this helps someone out there! 5
