Wonderful tea, great deal!Others had mentioned that the expiration date on their tea had been over 6 mo old, so I was a little wary. Mine do not expire for over almost two years and they ll be long gone before then! I ordered the Green Tea Candy Cane Lane. I have had it before and it s seasonal in my local stores. It has a subtle peppermint flavor, I m a big fan. It s also decaf, so I enjoy a cup or two at night as well. When I couldn t find it in stores I thought I d try Bigelow peppermint tea, but it was way too strong of a peppermint taste. So I ordered this, just right! I also save about $4.50 ordering this way.5Favorite tea!This is my most repurchased tea. I get a little panicked when I run low! It s a decaf green tea delight! It s great hot or cold. While you do need to enjoy peppermint to like this tea, the added flavors really make this almost a dessert. One of the reasons I enjoy this is because it doesn t need any additional sweetener. I got hooked on a flavor called Sugar Plum Fairy and haven't seen it since. With that experience in mind, I bought a 6 pack box, when I discovered how much I like this flavor. I drink at least 2 cups of tea in the afternoon/evening time. If I can't sleep, I take Sleepy Time flavor, and it knocks me out. Food for thought, if you need a tea for bed time. Amazon came through for me and I hope 6 boxes will be enough. It's a black tea with a mellow mix of spices. It's not overly spicey so the flavor of the tea prevails. A bunch of anthropomorphic polar bears (yes, polar bears) took me into their cabin, rich with the aromas of spice a hint of cinnamon, a whisper of orange clove. First, they wanted to give me a green tea with caffeine, and I had to politely refuse, as me and caffeine are no longer on good terms. And they offered me the tea that smelled the best, tasted the best: Candy Cane Lane, they called it. Assured that it was decaf, and that I was safe among tea-bearing bears (yes, bears), I made myself at home with cup after cup of their decaf tea. Alas, when it was time for me to return to my own fast-paced world, I could not find the tea I searched everywhere for the tea! Tops and bottoms of tea shelves and nothing, nothing, nothing! No Candy Cane Lane! Finding it again proved tricky, aside from going straight to the source (the Celestial Seasonings website), and still trying to pay the right price for it. I mean, getting it free from tea-bearing polar bears wasn't likely to happen again, and I had to lower my expectations. Well, I lucked out this year: buying it in bulk, so that I will have Candy Cane Lane and those memories of the polar bears' (yes, polar bears') lovely decaf green tea throughout the year.5One of the ladies brought this to our Bible study and it is amazing. I cannot drink caffeine later in the day ...I'm not a"weed tea" drinker. I also tried adding cocoa to my husbands...yech. that wasn't remotely flavorful and went down the drain. He'll generally eat or drink anything, not that. It looked like a mug after drinking real cocoa that had water placed in it to be washed...watered down nothing.Note to seller. Since most of us are buying this by the case, insert a sample or two of another tea. I won't buy teas to try anymore, but would love to sample others and would buy them if I like them.5
