you will have to read my review to see the recipe :) enjoythe guys love this, every time we make french toast in the panini press, or waffles they guys gobble this up. I would give this 5 stars if it wasnt so darn expensive. thanks guys, gonna put me in the poor house. :) I am glad they enjoy this, will have to try the other flavors. Oh and it also worked so well when I was slow cooking corned beef. Used this instead of the cheap store bought kind (you know the one with the LOG house on the labelhehe. Very nice and expensive treat. I slow cook the beef and do not put the cabbage or potatoes in. Cook those in separate pots. I use syrup and brown sugar during the cooking time. I turn the corned beef over every few hours and each time just pour some syrup on top and sprinkle with the br. sugar. Use your own preferences to how much. It will tenderize it more but make it more sweet, so dont go crazy with the stuff. A little goes a long way. I hope you guys enjoy the recipe, I make this all the time and it gets great reviews EVERY TIME! guess I better order another jar of this now that the guys want my corned beef again.4Really good local and organic syrupDefinitely a great purchase if you are looking for an organic syrup as opposed to what you would find in the grocery store. We bought this because really like to support great local business and we saw this business on a YouTube video! Decided to try it out and is really really good! Just a note though, this definitely is not your typical syrup from the grocery store, is a little thinner than you are probably used to and it is not as sweet as what you would buy in the store. I thought it was really great, my wife did not like it so much.4BEST MAPLE SYRUP EVER!!!I am a maple syrup aficionado and addict, and this is the most DELICIOUS maple syrup I've ever had! Crown Maple Syrups are from the Crown Maple Estate in Dover Plains, NY in the Hudson River Valley; and for me they surpass maple syrups from Canada, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, etc. in quality and taste. The flavor from the bourbon barrels is absolutely heavenly! I've enjoyed this truly special maple syrup on salmon, bacon, chicken, pork, Johnny cakes, pancakes, waffles, French toast, etc. It makes these dishes exquisite. In a class by itself. I'd secretly love to drink the whole bottle! (And I hardly drink...only a glass of red wine sometimes with dinner.)5Don't take to an AA meeting..."Too Bourbony for breakfast? Nah...". Is what I tell myself. It does have a healthy bourbon taste, but if I'm eating carb bombs with liquid sugar and butter, am I really worried about alcohol? Nah... delicious for my final meal.5Top Maple SyrupBought this for my wife who is a maple syrup aficianado. She loves it! I sampled this at a trade show and it is rather spectacular. If I were buying maple syrup for myself, this is, without a doubt, the one I would buy every time! Delicious.5Wow, what a winner!This is some of the best syrup I've ever had. I use it in smoothies, where it complements the flavor of fruit beautifully. And with pancakes, the flavor is wonderful without overwhelming, as some syrups do. My next recipe to try is pecan pie sweetened with maple syrup, and I think it would be really good in homemade nut milks. It's organic, which is a big plus for me, and the bottle is heavy glass, quite good quality, with a cork to seal it.5A big step upYou don't always realize how good something is until you have a context. I liked this a lot on first taste. But tasting next to a supermarket brand was a revelation, This is darker, more complex, with hints of molasses. The supermarket brand is sweet, easy and broadly flavored, using the sugar to gain fans. This is so superior, it's not close.5Yes, It's Maple Syrup, but....I was most impressed with the presentation, packaging, and cost for this product. The Glass bottle came safely packed in stiff cardboard, and the cork 'lid' is charming. So, for everything that gets it to the table, the manufacturer cannot be faulted. As far as the taste... well. Maple syrup is supposed to taste strongly of...MAPLE! I've used Log Cabin, I've used Lakanto, other varieties of 'table syrup,' and I've tried this. Yes, it does have a flavor, but it is almost non-existent, and the viscosity of the syrup (even when stored in the fridge) is more like the phoney 'maple' syrups out there (Mrs. B) than the real thing. So, I guess you get what you pay for. I was hoping for something a little more like the rush of maple sugar candy I ate as a kid, and got instead a sort of 'weak sugar syrup' instead. Meh.3Absolutely Outstanding!This maple syrup with hint of bourbon is outstanding! It is so good I take it by the spoonful like medicine...it is that deep and rich in flavor. I don't eat pancakes or waffles too often but certainly this syrup on top of (any dessert!) like a really good vanilla bean gelato must be outstanding!It was by mistake I came across their smaller 25 oz heavy duty bourbon-looking bottle with cork...it seemed to be liquor so I almost overlooked it but then I saw "maple syrup" and oh how I've searched for that thick dense (former Grade B) quality and, after tasting, I knew I had found it! Buy this and enjoy it!5Bourbon Maple PERFECTION, off the CHARTS good!!This bourbon barrel aged maple syrup is absolutely incredible!! I am a bourbon afficionado, and a real maple syrup lover. This undoubtedly the BEST of both, the maple is delicious, natural, smooth and delicious. The bourbon flavor is so well done, it's up front and center stage, yet blends seamlessly with the maple, the perfect marriage of the two flavors. That this is aged in Bourbon barrels as opposed to having flavorings or bourbon added in or cooked in sury sets this apart from others. Nothing bitter, nothing overdone or lingering that you don't want to longer, it is perfection. I'm ordering a second bottle right now, first class Crown, this is just flawless. Even the presentation is gorgeous, so happy, you have a customer for life, please don't ever change!!!5
