Most Excellent Coverage for the Piddies!I know these are labeled as "Diabetic" and I would recommend them for people who have Diabetes but I don't. What I DO have is ankles that swell for no reason especially when it's hot outside which is always since I live in the South. I also have Raynaud's Syndrome which in plain Engrish it's a form of frostbite bc my feet stay like ice year round. So these have quite literally saved my feet. I have bought them in black and white and don't go anywhere without them on. I always wear them at home bc I can't print what I said to my husband about the a/c he insists on keeping on the Arctic setting along with a ceiling fan and a stand fan blowing. I'm getting frostbite in my own house. I just about died when my doc told me. I've been wearing these about 6mos now and still have the same symptoms but my feet aren't as swollen and I can wear something other than house shoes and flip flops or sandals from the swelling. I won't wear any other socks since I've seen this much improvement! Most socks leave a ring on my leg and cut into it but these have alot of flexibility and there's a lot of material on the top so that ring doesn't happen. They're thick and I have to wear a bigger shoe but it doesn't as long as my feet feel this good! 5Good socks for diabeticsNice diabetic sock. Padded bottoms and seamless across toes. The ankle is loose and non binding. Our family dyed some for my mom so she could have cute Diabetic socks.5Most Comfortable Socks I've Ever Found!So soft and comfortable! I really appreciate the non-binding asset of these socks and I probably have about eight pair right now. I'm ordering more today because my grandchildren (ages 5 & 6) have started asking to wear them when they come over. So funny. They come in my home, hug me (I'm grandma. Yippee!), and go sit in the kitchen where they immediately pull off their shoes and socks. Next they ask for a snack. Then, it's not unusual for them to ask if they can wear my socks. They run, squabble over who gets which pair, then run back to me with my adult-size socks on their little feet. My 6 year old grandson can't quit saying how soft they are and he stretches out the words "so soft." So cute! I'm online today to order more. I love soft, too!Update: I ordered four more packages and they came in the mail a few days ago. My grandkids happened to be over here and the 5 year old and 7 year old couldn't get over how soft they are. They both ended up wearing a pair, both my granddaughter and my grandson. I think the ten year old also wanted to put on a pair, but he's too cool to do something like that. lol So cute! Anyway, I will continue buying these because they are non-binding, yet stay in place and never droop. Plus, they're so comfortable! I don't see how anyone could go wrong with this product. PS Unfortunately, I wasn't given a discount or any freebies for this review. It just so happens to be a good product.5Not cotton, but adequateThese little socks have served me well during our blistering summer heat. The tops are not so elasticized that they leave rings or impede my circulation in any way, nor do they ride down into my shoes. On the downside, they are a little more polyester than I like. I'd prefer that they were all cotton or more cotton at least. The synthetics can be abrasive against my skin. So these are adequate but if you're looking for a full cotton sock, these aren't the ones. They do keep my feet warm and for anyone with circulatory issues, you know what a plus this is. They wash up well too, without losing the elastic, so the quality is good..it's just a little too much synthetic material for me.3You should try these if you've given up trying to find a non-binding sockHave purchased these in the past. Only sock I can find that is not too tight around ankle. Other socks make an indention on leg even in their large sizes. Have pretty much numb feet and leg with swelling at ankle. Planning on buying some in black also. Giving 5 stars because of the comfort at top of sock. Will tell you they are hot in summer though and they do wear out pretty fast. Not sure why - must be the fabric.I can't go around in sock feet - have to be in orthopedic shoes so it's not that I'm wearing them out that way. Comfort is more important to me than the downside! This price is about the same as other places you will find them. Too expensive for quality but can't do much about that!5Changed manufacturers???I've purchased this product for over 8 years with complete satisfaction. But the newest socks have changed. Although the package label says the same size I've previously bought, they are CONSIDERABLY shorter in size than before --- and I had an unused pair from a previous order to compare them to. I will not buy them again.1Sizing????These are HUGE! See photo, they are about 9 inches long from toe to heel when laid flat on the counter. My foot is not that long. And they stretch generously. I wear a 6 wide ladies shoe. While they are very soft and cozy, the heel comes well up onto the back of my leg. I thought I had been sent the wrong size, but the packaging says "fits women's shoe size 4-10, and men's shoe size 3-9". I did not see a problem with the toe seam as others have mentioned. It seemed smooth and flat to me. I like the sock, I just think Dr. Scholl's should make a better range of sizes. Not worth the postage to send them back, so I'll keep them.3I thought Dr. Scholl was THE foot "doctor"; not so if you are judging by this productBack to the drawing board--this time use some practical input from test subjects with DIFFERENT SIZED FEET!! This current product will probably fit a woman's foot sized 6 to 9, Med width. I wear a size 10 WW. I can just about get the socks over my toes and up to my heels. The cuff lands on my ankle bone. And that "flat" seam . . .ISN'T A FLAT SEAM! I must wear these now-bed socks inside out to avoid irritation.My suggestions to Dr. Scholl:1. Resize these socks to at least 2 to 3 ranges of sizes and widths2. Verify that the sizes do in fact fit--comfortably.3. Do research on how to construct a flat seam, or don't promise one.1STUPID SIZESThese sizing ranges are stupid! For women I only found two size ranges: this one - which is Shoe: 4-10 and a "plus size" version, which says it fits sizes Shoe: 8-12. I have had both of these. I wear a size 9 ladies shoe. Well, I had some of the Shoe: 8-12 size, and they are far too big - the heel comes up and sticks outside the backs of my low-top Chucks. So they are too big. OK, fine. Then I ordered these Shoe: 4-10 socks, and guess what? They are too friggin small!! Look, I wear a 9, OK? That falls in both size ranges, but neither of these sizes fit me properly. What a crock!!3Very Comfy, Fit NiceVery Comfy, Not really sure how they are suppose to reduce swelling, because they are loose and very soft. They do not cause swelling give extra support in the heel area easy to get on and off. mine are bit big and slide all over. They are not constricting in any way. If your looking for a sock that will get rid of swelling this is not the sock. I would recommend these for a diabetic sock, because they are very soft give an added layer of support around toes and heels and fit loose around the top band of sock causing no pressure. which could be a bad thing.
