I can't tell if they workIt's a product you buy out of desperation hoping it will work. I don't usually have much ear pain when traveling. I had bad allergies and was hoping these would help--from my experience if you have stuffiness/congestion they will not work, but if you just are one of those people who can't "pop" their ears to equalize pressure they might work for you.It's a bit tricky to get them in and keep them in. I have little ears so I bought the kids size and this was appropriate for me. Think of apple earbuds--if they're way too big for you, definitely go for kids size. 3These work great for my ears when on an airplane. Bought the "infant" size for small ears.These work great to adjust the air pressure when on an airplane. Ended up with ear issues when I did not clear my ears upon landing after an 11 hour flight. Now ear specialist says I need these for air travel. Wish they continued making the "infant" size as I have a small ear canal. Now they are making the "children" or "kids" size, which is somewhat too large for me and does not stay put properly during use. These are not for noise cancellation. 5Not the same as products purchased in storeI've used Earplanes for over 20 years while traveling, and I rely on them to help with pressure when flying or driving in different altitudes. My ears don't pop as they should, but when using Earplanes I have no issues. That said, the products I received from Amazon were somehow different than what I've used before. They didn't fit well and they didn't work as usual to relieve pressure. My husband had a similar experience. I'd recommend buying elsewhere. 2The item that arrived was not as pictured, but ...The item that arrived was not as pictured, but an older model. The box had been previously opened and was taped shut. There was a smear of food on the outside of the box. The plugs inside were dusty, and though they may be new, and I doubt I'll be using them. 1Great!After flying several times with our toddler, I thought I d give these a try. They helped so much! She was complaining that her ears hurt but when we used these, she said she felt a lot better. She stopped crying and was able to relax finally. They really seem to help her with the pressure while flying. 5How urprised I was, they DO WORK. Wanted Earplanes for my dog's flight to UK.They DO seems to work; I just tried them a week ago on an flight from USA to UK. Actually I wanted to try them on my trip, to see if they'd work for my dog.When we ascended, I felt the pressure change & felt it in the Earplanes too--pretty cool! Same action when we descended. I fly a lot & can always feel the in-cabin pressure changes both in ears & face. Typically I don't feel actual pain in-flight, except one or two times in smaller planes. Then I'd get MAJOR FACE PAIN & POPPING. So, on this recent flight, I wore them & def. felt the valves in the Earplanes change pressure. It was kind of neat to sense the mild change from the Earplanes.However, I really wanted to test them for my dog, when he flew overseas after me.Sure wish #Earplanes had a K-9 version. Few people, even Vets, think about dog's ears when flying. But K9 ear anatomy is just like ours except, dog's ear are even MORE SENSITIVE than adults, or even kids' ear canals. Dogs have a deeper/downward, outer-ear canal So anyway, I ordered them & looked at the size. They're a bit too small for dog's elongated canals. However, just consider SCREAMING INFANTS on flgihts? Their tiny ear canals feel pain much more, due to their narrower ear structures. So little kids & babies scream....As horrible as that is for both the babies, embarrased Moms & Dads in-flight...it's even more a pity for our K9 friends. Dog's ears must be in TERRIBLE PAIN, when they're in flight & few of us even consider it!N.B. Earplanes!WE NEED A K-9 version. I'm sure dog owners would buy them! 4Worked like a charm!I bought these earplugs for a 3 hour flight and they worked like a charm! I typically have uncomfortable ear popping throughout a flight (not just take off and landing) but these solved that problem. I put them in before take off and left them in the whole flight as I was just reading a book for the flight. My ears did not pop the whole entire flight which is a first! I know these are for children, but I have small ears so they were the perfect size and not uncomfortable at all. Will definitely purchase more for future flights! 5Didn't work for us.Didn't work at all for us. I bought them for my 18 month old for her first time flying. Of course, her being a toddler, she didn't want them in her ears so I decided to use them myself. They did nothing for me. Luckily, she handled the round trip like a champ! There were older children on the flight that didn't handle it as well as she did.... I did give 3 stars for the packaging because they came in a cute little plastic case to prevent them from getting lost or dirty. 1Helped my 1.5 year oldMy 1.5 year old actually had the beginnings of an ear infection and he had no troubles on the flight! Granted he really didn't like things in his ears and tried to pull them out, but I just kept my hands cupped over his ears and although frustrated he had no pain and didn't cry like the other babies on the plane! He was even told he was the best plane baby ever by a grandma of 18 grandkids! 5Im unsureI bought these for our trip to Hawaii. My six year old son used them (I placed them into his ears). He still complained that his ears hurt a lot especially upon landing. So I'm not really sure if these did anything. Would his ears have hurt more? After i decided that they didn't work my son was scared that it would hurt more without them and didn't let me throw them away. I will also say that i wish that they came with a string/rope thing to attach the two together. My son dropped them several times and we had to look all over our area to find the missing ear piece. 3
