Michigan Cherry Flavor HORRIBLELong time fan of Eight O'Clock coffee so I decided to give the flavored coffee a try after having some awewome cherry flavored coffee at a local coffee shop. It was truly dreadful-- not just bad but undrinkable. I actually contacted the company thinking maybe I got a "bad batch" or something and got a "we're so great everyone loves us" response LOL. Soured me to the whole brand.1Doesn't taste like coconut at all !!! Its definitely hazelnut wiI love coconut so was thrilled at the thought of making a pot, and in turn was absolutely disappointed does not have even the slightest taste of coconut it actually tastes like hazelnut, I feel deceived in fact it tastes just like hazelnut i checked the bag thinking it was sent by mistake, but it says coconut!!!, it doesn't even deserve 1 star1Not the best...but I'll try other flavorsVery good coffee, I really enjoyed the cherry flavor. It's very natural fruityness and no weird after taste.Excited to try more EOC flavors!Update: the more I drank it I didn't like it, seemed synthetically cherry....my husband hated it.I'll still try more flavors..3Traverse City Cuppa, Straight Outta MeijerThe ONLY shortcoming of this coffee (getting it out the way first) is that it only comes in very finely ground, which makes it tough for pourover coffee, which is my everyday. I'd love to see this in whole bean or even in coarse grind.That being said, from the lips of a born and raised Michigander... Great Job, EOC! I cannot recommend this highly enough, especially for my Native Mitten friends (Grand Rapids Gal, here!) who are living out of state. A little under six bucks, and if your area has Amazon Fresh or Prime Now, you can have a cuppa that tastes like Home straight bought out the self checkout at Meijer(s.. haha) in less than two hours almost too yummy to be true. I had friends picking up coffee and mailing it to me, but this is a lovely and happy alternative. If you need me, I'll be walking through Traverse City, in the summer, on the water, right as sun sets, after wasting all my money losing the dime game at Festival... I reduced it by half for my second cup and still too bitter, reduced it to 1/2 teaspoon and it was still way too bitter to attempt to drink.I am from Michigan and Cherry flavered coffee is the norm, but this stuff was just plain bad.1Pretty decent flavored coffeeI was a huge fan of the limited edition berry coffees Dunkin put out a while ago, but you can't find them anywhere anymore. This is a decent replacement though.4Yum, but could be stronger in flavorI like really dark roast coffee with bacon and maple flavoring, so this is a bit lighter coffee than I would prefer. However, it is really good and others in my household and guests really like it.4Like Drinking an Almond Joy...For years we had purchased a coffee custom blended in California called: Cocoanut Cream Coffee. The seller no longer handles this flavor and THIS Eight O'Clock Coffee flavor is the closest we've found. To us, it's like drinking an Almond Joy. Since we liked this flavor so much, we also tried EOC's Cherry Pie and Blueberry Crisp flavors. EOC makes some great flavored coffee in our opinion!5DeliciousI wanted something new for the new year and I came across this coffee. I just tried it for the first time yesterday and I am blown away by how good it is! First of all, it smells fantastic, the flavor is enough cherry that I can taste it. I used some sugar free vanilla syrup in it and it tastes like cherry pie with whipped cream. I will definitely be buying more of this!5Very satisfiedGreat flavor5
