Reduced achy elbows after bench pressingI was starting to experience some mild pain and discomfort in my elbows after heavy bench pressing. During, immediately after, and for a few hours the following morning. A new sensation to me, having worked up to to some fairly heavy pressing. (Current:190bw@250x5 for sets).The addition of compression from these sleeves has reduced, but not eliminated, the ache I experience during and after heavy pressing.However the following day is when I experienced the most improvement. With little to no tightness or ache in the elbows. I am very pleased with this result as it is more than I expected.5READ THIS FOR SIZING!The sizing shown was way wrong, go to their actual webpage to see the correct sizing. (2 Star for the overall hassle)I ordered a medium based on the sizing on the amazon page and the sleeve was WAY small, after I checked their actual webpage I saw the right sizes. I did email gym reapers about it and they were pretty cool about everything, they wanted me to return the medium to them and they would send out the replacements but it was easier going thru the return process thru amazon. Overall the right size is comfortable and if it weren t for the hastle I would probably give a 4 Star.2They work GREAT for Gym and Work. My husband loves them.My husband has had tennis elbow/golfers elbow for years. His job requires him to be using his fingers to operate levers all day long and so there is no rest for his tendons. He started working out at the gym about 4-5 days a week a few years ago and that has been a real killer for his elbows and arms.I roll them out for him and try to rub out all the knots, and that helps some if I am consistent. We got another pair of elbow braces prior to these and they helped, but he likes these so much better. With the other brand, they made his arms itch and I think it was the elastic kind of pulling. With these, they are smooth and thick and he just loves them.They give him all the support he needs and he wears them every day to work and the gym.5Worth it!I was researching elbow sleeves and came across Gymreapers several times in searches. I thought I would give them a try, it was a bonus that these came with the wrist wraps. Coincidentally, I was not liking the previous set of wrist wraps. What a great buy! The elbow sleeves fit well and really support the joint during movement. As for the wrist wraps, lets just say I will be using these from now on and leaving the other brand in my bag in case someone else needs a set at the gym. The Gymreaper wrist wrap has a good design in that if you have small or larger wrists, their placement and length of the velcro will always line up to keep your wrist secure.Use Gymreapers sizing guide and expect a great fit. I would say that if you have small joints but large forearms, you may want to go one size up. Good thing about Gymreapers and Amazon, free returns and once you find them, a perfect fit and support. Thank you Gymreapers - you have a new user and supporter!5Better than expectedThe reality is I a was looking for a product to do something this one was not exactly designed for; HOWEVER, it does just that and more! I do squats with the barbell cradled in my elbows as many of you likely do. This does present a bit of a discomfort issue for me and kept thinking there had to be something to alleviate that. Other elbow products are too thin or too flimsy and then in a search I found Gymreapers version. Wow. Beautiful. Heavy, plenty of stretch and plenty of thickness without being cumbersome. I am very impressed with this product and though I don't use it "traditionally" all that often, it is more than what I thought I might get. It's nice, and surprising, these days to get what you ordered, let alone more than what you ordered. Buy these.5Elbow sleeves and wrist wraps exceeded expectations!!!I received my Elbow Sleeves and wrist wraps yesterday. Just opening the package I knew I had made the right decision and could not wait to get to the gym to try them out. They exceeded my expectations!!! The fit was spot on, the quality was obvious and the support was even better than my previous sleeves that had velco reinforced straps. These are amazing! I had a crazy workout and came home and told my wife "I don't believe it for the first time in awhile my elbows actually don't hurt!" The wrist straps were just a bonus for me. I bought these mainly for the elbow sleeves but to my surprise my workout gloves are now a thing of the past. The wrist straps blew me away. If Gymreapers ever needs a spokesperson I am more than willing to provide and that is truly saying something because I am a 49 yr old male who has been working out for about 30 yrs. I take this stuff seriously. Oh and when I showed them to my wife she said " Those are some sexy elbow sleeves!" (She loved the logo as did I!) I highly recommend these for the price.5great company with great productsi am a auto body tech that has worked for 43 years and still going,i recentley found out i have tennis elbow.i also have lifted weights all my life.i needed a good elbow sleeve to help reduce the pain when i lift weights and also for work.i tried copperfit which did nothing.then i tried theses elbow sleeves from gymreapers.i can tell you i now am able to lift weights again and it has reduced the pain in my elbow.i also wear one at work.i will never be pain free but am happy to be back lifting weights again.i love these elbow sleeves and there logo is cool .i rate this product as 5 stars and will try there other products.5Better than expected30 plus years ago I trained hard as a bodybuilder. So full of testosterone we weren't concerned about injury. Now at 59, still working as self employed and training as well, prefer to prevent injury. I was beginning to have discomfort in my elbow and wrists from heavier lifting. One of the bodybuilders I follow on the internet spoke highly of another brand of elbow support, but I wasn't convinced that an $80 support was necessary, so I gave these a try figuring Amazon is reasonable about returns.I measured for size from their website, ordered accordingly. Gymreapers responded with a very nice email. The order included 2 elbow supports and 2 wrist supports. The quality seemed impressive, the stitching, material and plenty of Velcro on the wrist straps. The elbow supports fit me fairly snug, comfortably snug. They made my skin slightly itchy, not bothersome itchy. They did not move, or slide down my arm, nor inhibit movement during each one hour workout. The wrist supports worked great, plenty of support, enough that I did not have any concern doing the heavy work. really like the logo as well.Most likely, like many others, experiences are not always positive ordering on line. Gymreapers contacted me upon placing the order, and after receiving the order expressing their interest in making sure everything was satisfactory. My personal experience, along with the warm fuzzy feeling of a company that seems to actually care, is a product that is well designed, functional, well made and priced fairly. At this point I am very satisfied with the supports, and the outreach from Gymreapers. I am not affiliated with this company, nor received any percs, just a consumer that likes to buy reasonable quality for my hard earned money. On a rare occasion a product exceeds expectation, this one did just that.5Performance at an affordable priceI have the CrossFit wrist wraps from Gym Reaper and they perform very well, so i thought why not try the elbow sleeves?I love these sleeves they are comfortable and stabilize my elbows during heavy lifting. I get just enough spring to help me past my sticking point. The elastic wrist wraps are great as well 18" to the velcro help to support my wrists which are taking longer to recover than usual (the pains of getting old I guess). I highly recommend Gum Reaper brand and products they deliver and are cost-effective as well. Go big or go home!5gets the job done at a good value!I have purchased many elbow braces over the years and unfortunately have lost many over the years (leaving them at the gym). I typically spend $30-40 on a good set of braces but this time I needed to get wrist wraps too as my last pair had simply given up the ghost through years of use. I read the good reviews and realized these braces are for weightlifters (not meant for use on the tennis court, lol). There are so many of these types of things for sale on Amazon, I never really know for sure what to get but since I needed wrist wraps too this was a no brainer.Wrist wraps: good heavy duty wraps that are long enough but not too long to feel cumbersome. They keep your wrist supported during pushing exercises and curls (really the main movements that affect your wrists). So they passed the test.Elbow Braces: they give your elbows the support they need especially during heavy pressing movements and movements that typically hurt your elbows such as push downs and skull crushers. I have bought many braces before that simply aren't long enough to provide the full support I feel like I need and these are plenty long enough to get the job done. The fabric also feels substantial and tight enough to provide support. I see complaints on here about the braces being too tight but that is really the whole purpose (compression and support) without cutting off your circulation. I got the XXL and they are tight where they are supposed to be (just like they should be). So these are a winner for me and at the price a nice alternative to many of the more expensive elbow braces out there.Overall: So they both (wrist wraps and elbow braces) passed the test for me and are at a really good value. They do have a "new" smell to them out of the package but that goes away with one wash (yes you meatheads, you should definitely wash your weightlifting gear). They appear to be plenty durable and if that changes, I will update my post. This was the first time I bought this brand and it was a nice surprise.5
