Beware this is full of sugar!Didn't realize this had so much sugar in it like most things these days or I wouldn't have bought it. Sugar mixed in with the dried cranberries and sugar with the chocolate which I was unaware of at the time I bought this. I thought it was just Seeds & Fruit like the product states on the label. Doesn't say anything about chocolate! I'm not a diabetic I just don't want to eat sugar with every freakin thing! Won't buy again!2Fortunately, she out grew the sunflower seed allergies and ...My daughter has nut and sesame seed allergies. Prior to turning 5 she was also allergic to sunflower seeds which eliminated most nut substitutes. Fortunately, she out grew the sunflower seed allergies and LOVES that she can have trail mix. I put little cups of it in her lunch as a surprise. You'd think I just given her a big chocolate chip cookie by the way she comes home beaming. The best part is that the whole family can eat this including my sister with celiac. I've even developed a habit of snacking on it instead of chips. It's very tasty!5Unfortunate experienceOne of the bags had bug larvae in it. This means we can't trust to buy the product again. I appreciated the concept and the individual packaging. Too bad.1Was happy. Not anymoreI have been eating these for a few months now and have enjoyed the taste, as well as the fact that it is a healthy and filling snack. I have been noticing in the last few boxes, that the packaging is getting worse and worse. The upper seal constantly has seeds in it that prevent the package from staying contained and uncontaminated. When i open the box and find several packages already open, I cannot justify the purchase. Also, when I started buying these the price was less, and now I see it jumping up. I cannot justify buying the product at this price when they can't even take the time and effort to make sure that their bags are properly sealed. Wont be buying the anymore.2Not just for the birds! It's perfect snack food (and the dark chocolate is the winning ingredient!)They call me bird seed woman at work! LOL. This mix is SOOO Good. I started to take nuts out of my diet just to see if it would make a difference with headaches I was having - I realized how much I liked seeds with this mix - and the dark chocolate thrown in is perfect! I am not crazy about the opening at the top - for me I have to cut it with a scissors or the package opens up all over the place - so I usually cut it open and pour it out onto a paper towel at work to snack on. It's great tasting, filling and gives you a lot to work with for your fingers - keeps you busy! I call it my bird seed. I really do like it - and to top it off - it's NON GMO - so it's great ingredients, no chemicals, etc. Perfect snack food. I buy it by the case and take it everywhere with me (and my scissors!). My headaches were not related to nuts I found out - but I continued to stay nut-free and keep eating this seed mix - because it's soo good. I don't miss the nuts!! (or the calories!)5GREAT For Those With Multiple Food AllergiesI have a niece that is a wonderful, giving person who is allergic to so many foods that we always ask the restaurant manager if they use X, Y or Z in their food. If they do, we so somewhere else. Nuts are one of the worst for her.Seed and Fruit mix/Mountain Mambo is the perfect snack for the person with allergies to so many types of food. In addition, Enjoy Life makes a large variety of snacks, many which are ALL free of: gluten, dairy, sulfites, nuts, egg, soy-the list just goes on. BE CAREFUL-they also make nut-based snacks, so be judicious in what you order.At present the company sells many types of variety packs but does not sell a snack variety pack. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!5Great snackI placed an order at Vitacost and needed just a little bit more to get free shipping. I saw these in the single serve packs and ordered them to try. They are very good. I noticed that if you buy the bulk order ( 6 bags ) on Amazon you can save. I opened 2 bags and portioned out serving sizes into plastic snack bags. Works well to just grab and go.5DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT - BUGSDO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT! This morning I opened a bag of the Mountain Mambo and THANKFULLY I always pour the contents into a bowl or onto a paper towel to snack from and LONE BEHOLD there were moving BUGS. It took me a second to figure out what was happening (why is the trail mix moving?) but it was confirmed that bugs came out of this bag and were now in the bowl in front of me - BUGS. I was disgusted. I will never be purchasing this product ever again and I will be throwing away all the ones I have left. Imagine if I was one of those people who tore off a corner and just dumped the contents into my mouth? NO NO NO. I will never be able to risk eating this product ever again after what I've seen.1Opened bags.Over half of the bags were unsealed. Their seam must not have been sealed correctly at the factory. Tried a small handful of the loose seeds, not wanting to waste them, but they were stale. Only reason it got two stars instead of one is because the remaining few bags were how the product should be/taste. Somewhat disappointed, I ve not had an issue like this with Enjoy Life products in the past...2Great Allergen-Friendly SnackI purchases these for a church event where I knew there would be several kids with nut allergies. They were great! There's more seeds and berries in the packages than I expected and the kids loved them. The parents appreciated the piece of mind knowing that the snack was allergen free. There is chocolate in them, so they will get a bit "melty" if they get warm, but let's be realistic, that's going to happen. I will buy these again!5
