My Cats Love ThisI started giving my cats shaved bonito as a special treat about 8 yrs ago. I tried several brands and liked Cat Man Doo best. Then earlier this year, I saw this brand featured on Amazon and because the price was so reasonable, I decided to try it. With my 3 cats plus a varying number that I foster, the cat man doo was pretty pricey.It was a good decision. The flakes are big. They are packaged well and there is very little crumble. And my cats all love them. With a passion. Every night before bed, the cats line up on the coffee table. I give them each a small bowl of the flakes and they end up licking the bowl clean. I love that because the price is so reasonable I can give them a generous amount.5Great for all kinds of things including keeping kitty happyI originally bought these to cook with, but after several annoying hours of my pet monster asking for some, I caved and gave him a pinch. My bad. Now every time he hears a cabinet open he's in the kitchen so if you're looking for a snack for a demanding cat, this seems like an easy buy. If, like I had originally intended, you want to make miso soup at home with this product, it is also good for that.3Don't buy if you want large flakesI purchase the extra-large flakes for my two cats. This product might start out as large flakes, but for about the past six months, they have been shipping these in flimsy bags rather than boxes. The result is a bag of bonito crumbs. My cats won't eat these. If you are using the season broths or other food items, you probably won't mind the size of the flakes, but they simply don't serve my purposes.1Big hitBest bargain EVER! My 17 year old girl loves these things but brand names specified "for cats" are priced about double yet it's the same thing. She doesn't beg, she demands so I'm glad I discovered these.5Great value!My 6 year old cat first tried tuna flakes by Our Pets that I bought from the pet store. It was a 0.5 oz container that he chomped through in about 1 month. I've switched over to this huge bag which I actually like better because of the value and the size of the flakes are long/large enough for me to hand feed my cat. He loves these just as much. Would repurchase and recommend.5Excellent!Excellent bonito flakes! I use for my cats and they go crazy for it. A much better alternative than spending a small fortune on Catmandoo. I used Catmandoo for quite some time before trying this item. I must say Catmandoo is an excellent product and my cats loved it too. However, it's the same stuff and this bag has large flakes without a lot of "dust" flakes that the cats won't eat. The best part is this is much cheaper without losing quality. It's cheaper here than at my local Asian market. Recommended. P.S. I did not use this for human consumption. This review is my opinion on behalf of my cats taste buds.5Cats LOVE these.Bought these as cat treats. Much more cost effective than the pet store brand. Cats LOVE these... It is good Quality In flavor. Very easy to use smells really good. Smoky flavor reminds me of bacon makes a great soup. Flakes can be fed to pets after removing from broth. I also feed these As a treat to my cats. They love them and beg for more. What could you ask for treats for yourself and your pets. Very good quality. Very good quantity for price. I would recommend this product3Picky cats LOVE ITSo I have one very picky cat I mean this dude only eats the best... what a snob! Well i opened this and i swear I couldn't put the flakes down for him fast enough he LOVES them. On his treat day he jumped into the shelves in my closet close to where i keep these and was practically pointing to the flakes and looking at me like "GET UP AND FEED ME!" My other big dude loves them too, but he'll eat anything lol. Great value too. I used to buy cat man do and for much less product i had to pay the same amount as this. Wont be doing that anymore.5A lot of product comes in the bagWhen my cat, Annabel, and I received a sample of these a few years ago, I was heartbroken that I couldn't afford the expensive ones the pet store was selling. Usually when she gets a new treat, she likes it for a few days and then changes her mind.I found these flakes and I love how affordable they were. They also come in quite a large bag. We are halfway done this bag and there's still a lot left and she loves them.(still!)They smell very fishy and look like fish food, but I think that's why cats love them.5
