Absolutely Disgusting!This has got to be the nastiest tasting coffee shot I've ever had. It tastes like some sort of really, really bad medicine. No vanilla taste at all. I much prefer this vanilla flavor.Cold brew coffee -especially concentrated as an extract- simply tastes different so no, this is not going to taste just like a mini cup of regular coffee. I think that is possibly why many people are put off by the taste. I don t mind the taste. It s not something I would specifically want to sip as an actual coffee drink. However, that is perfectly all good because it s literally a shot. And the caffeine - I so so so need that caffeine.I deal with heartburn very often. Hot coffee is not ideal for me. A small shot of cold brewed coffee is especially helpful for heartburn sufferers due to the following two aspects - you don t have to consume a big amount of hot liquid in a short amount of time in order to get caffeinated for the morning, and cold brewed coffee beans yield a significantly less acidic product.I also like these shots more than the Dunkn donuts bottled coffees. They were my go to coffee drinks, because the caffeine content was high AND ACTUALLY LISTED on the label. The downside to those were all the calories. Just too much sugar. I rarely buy those anymore.These are pricey, so I can t drink them everyday. But I am not necessarily complaining about the price because of the organic certification, overall quality, & the sheer convenience.Hopefully they will start to have more flavors soon where I live. I tolerate the Hershey flavor, but will buy these again soon via amazon so I can enjoy the better flavor of vanilla AND the higher caffeine content.I know caffeine addiction is not good, but at this time frame it really helps me to get going in the mornings, or at work when we re about to get busy. Plus I have a child with Never. Ending. Energy.*-- so I have realized that even with 200 mg caffeine, I don't get that caffeine rush I like so much (maybe what jittery is) , and I don't know if I feel quite as alert vs taking an Excedrin in the morning. With that said, this is likely a pro instead of a con, because most people do not like jitteryness. Somehow, it seems as though the Hershey kind felt more alert, yet it only had 100 mg caffeine.5Forto box received is 3 months past expirationWhat we like the most: fresh Forto coffee shots.What we like the least: box of Forto received 3 months after expiration date. (see picture) Not sure if this is an Amazon stocking issue (and quality control) or a Forto issue. Either way, we would like a replacement box of vanilla and a suitable make it right service recovery. We d like to continue with Forto and hope this was just an anomaly. That's what made me buy it in the first place.5Surprisingly good!I have tried both the chocolate and vanilla versions of these. Both are surprisingly good. Being a coffee drinker I very much prefer these over the standard energy shots. The flavor is good. Not as good as a nice cup of coffee but when you need to clear the fog these are perfect. I like that they don't contain any of the "strange" ingredients that the energy drinks contain. I really like that they only contain coffee and a little sugar, etc.I personally would like to cut out the sugar and try a version made with Splenda or Stevia, etc. if Forto should choose to make such a product, but at least the amount of sugar is relatively low to sweeten the concentrated coffee.I'm so glad I found these. I won't buy another energy shot again. Thanks Forto!5Great Product - Love It!!!Amazing product! Tastes great, is a good value, is convenient, and is healthy (organic). One bottle contains about four tabelspoons. I take one tablespoon twice a day, so one bottle lasts me two days (I don't require much caffeine). Haven't tried the others, but the expresso is good. I will cry if this product is ever taken off the market (I put my coffee maker away today for the first time in two decades).5
