WTF! Not as pictured anymore. Now getting an unlabeled silver bag?I've purchased for years and now we getting a unlabeled silver generic bag without a company label, no logo, no UPC code or any Nutrition or Ingredients listing. I will be requesting a refund and not buying anymore.1Not good :-(What the item describes is NOT what you get! I got a shiny bag with a label of authenticity! No list of ingredients, no manufacturer, no nutrition label!! I m beyond shocked Amazon is allowing this mystery product to be shipped to customers for consumption! I do have to say that returning this product was a breeze, so the 1 star is justified1Black bugsWell I opened the bag and checked on the flavor of these and I absolutely loved them. So I decided to pour some into a bowl and out came that ugly bug with the strips. Needless to say, the rest went into the garbage. Not sure if I will order some more or not.5Are these Fresh Gourmet? DoubtfulI purchased a bag of these from this page in December 2017. What I received was wonton strips in a plain, unmarked foil bag. No brand label, or ingredients labeling, or country of origin, or anything. Literally the only thing printed on the foil bag was as small "Best By" date. I had no way to tell whether they really were Fresh Gourmet strips or something different. Even if they were really Fresh Gourmet, were they some sort of bulk commercial offer, or was somebody buying in bulk and using that to fill up these foil bags; and if the latter, how sanitary was their refilling operation? Long and the short of it was that I didn't trust what I received. I notified Amazon and wrote a review, but didn't receive a reply and my review was rejected. Anyway, I just looked at this page again and noticed that other buyers had a similar experience, so I'm trying this review again.2The Best Topping to Any Dish!These are soooooo yummy. I was thrilled that I was able to find these is a larger 1lb bag (have only seem them in smaller bags in the grocery store). The wonton strips arrived in great condition, not crushed and were fresh. I use these for just about everything. On salads, in stir fry, and as toppings for other dishes. The flavor is great, they are not salty nor greasy and I highly recommend them as a great additional to any dish needing some crunch! I will purchase these over and over again - Thanks!5These ARE good... Original or Repackaged BagI purchased these several times because making noodles is a pain and end up either over-cooked or greasy. These are very convenient and are the same whether in their original product bag or plain mylar repackaged bag. They taste good and remain crispy in soup and are a great addition to a salad or right out of the bag as a snack. They won't make you sick (or spend any more time in the "loo" than usual). They aren't NY China Town original nor are they under-cooked greasy strip-mall substitutes either. Not sure why there are some really bad reviews, but there are many more positive, accurate product opinions for you to evaluate before purchasing. Besides, Amazon offers generous return/refund policies if there's anything wrong.5Made me sick every time I consumed someThe large bag made me sick as in every time I ate them 30 min. later running to the bathroom. Called company and they said this packaging is for restaurants who use them at a much faster pace. I think they are quite oily but I didn't like getting sick. The company was very nice about it but the vice president of quality control in new York was a little to presumptive and controlling. Has his underlings quite intimidated. It has a homemade label and placed in a silver mylar bag. Simply typed in what it is and the amount. How the heck do I know who packaged this, under what circumstances of cleanliness. I absolutely would not give this to my family. To the trash it goes and I will never purchase it again. Shame, I loved the large size and I thought the price was good.I'd rather buy them at the store and pay more............ Amazon, you need to do more quality control.
