Great way to get your greens in!I'm usually skeptical when something green claims to energize you. However, this really does provide energy. I mix it in 4-5oz of water and drink first thing in the morning. If I need a pick-me-up in the afternoon, I use this. It tastes pretty good for being mixed in water. Of course it's dark green but, the taste is surprising because it is a mixture of light sweetness with a hint of green coming through......not at all bad! I expected the opposite. This is a twofer, provides energy and great way to get your greens in! I'll buy again. 5Healthy energizer to increase your vitalityI drink 2 shakes of this mixed with Wheatgrass and glutamine powder every day. ..some days 3 shakes. This mixed in with the Wheatgrass makes the taste much better. To me this tastes somewhat sweet whereas wheatgrass has a bitter taste. So when they are combined the taste is just right. I would still say that this and Wheatgrass are an aquired taste but after 3 years, it's a taste I prefer over soda pop and other drinks. I believe it will increase your health adding this to your diet daily. 5Nice and smoothI like this a lot. I use it in my breakfast smoothie along with a protein supplement because the protein content is negligible. It does not feel grainy at all and the taste is not too overpowering. I have a sensitive stomach and have not had any issues at all. I add one scoop to almond milk, banana and whatever fruit I have at hand. Great product. 5Would recommend taking for energy until the war on drugs ends.Not bad. For whatever reason sometimes I drink it and feel nothing and other times I am ultra awake and focused. I dont mind the taste, it is kind of a lemon/grass flavor. Though, I let someone else try it and they thought it was gross. I am used to the grassy type flavor of these kind of drinks and they are not so I'm assuming thats why. Until street drugs are made legal I will be using this to wake up if needed. Would recommend. 5Great energyThis product definitely gave me the boost of energy it claims. It does have a bit of gritty texture but I expect that. I have it every morning with orange juice as I'm sending the kids off. I put coffee off while using this energizer so I could make a good decision for reorders. Although, having this every morning I start my day feeling great the down side is it makes me constipated. 5Only half fullI opened the product and it was half empty. I weighed it and it was less than half than the listed 9.6 ounces. Super disappointed and will be returning for a corrected order. 1Good stuff!!!I usually have issues with sugar, start shaking, headaches etc. by mid day. I drink this stuff in the morning first thing and I don't have any issues with anything all day, even when I go all day without eating. (I know, how do people forget to eat) haha. I'm a busy mom of 3 and husband is disabled vet so sometimes I get distracted and needless to say this stuff works miracles and keeps me going! Taste takes getting used to, but for the way this stuff works I'll take the time to get over the taste! 52 year enthusiast!I have been purchasing perfect food energizer twice a month for over two years. At this point, I should have some kind of frequent buyer discount (GOL, you should offer this!). But I keep coming back because absolutely nothing works like this product! This is an outstanding tub of greens, arguably the best out there. The profile is great and the antioxidant power of this product is off the charts. The taste is pretty strong but if I put some water in my mouth and put a heaping teaspoon (not TOO heaping) on top of the water I find that I can swallow it with only a small minority of it ever touching my tongue so it's not like it's all that hard to get down. Over time, I've adapted, and now I actually ENJOY the flavor. It tastes great with stevia and diluted in 16oz of water.There are a million benefits with this product, so I'll try to be brief. The main difference between Garden of Life and other manufacturers, is that GOL's greens are JUICED and THEN dehydrated. Every other greens product I searched was simply dehydrated grasses. That's great, but the nutritional profile of this product is 100x stronger! Because they are extracting the most nutrients out of the plants before they dehydrate, you're taking the most potent dose imaginable. Each serving is like 50 servings of homemade green juice.I'm truly in love with this... and though it costs a pretty penny, I'll keep drinking it twice a day for the rest of my life. 5I didn t know green powder could be delicious!This is a great product! Of all the green powders I ve tasted, this is the tastiest. The ingredients are all top notch, and I LOVE the fact that it contains Yerba mate. Does it taste like pomegranate? No, not really. Does it taste fantastic in water, eh, not really. It still taste better than any other green powder I ve tasted. Put it in juice or ginger beer and it s amazing! My biggest problem with this product is that I use it up too quickly because I think it s delicious. Seriously. This product helps me feel nourished and energized. I know it s not intended to be used as a meal replacement, but i use it that way and it does a great job of keeping me satisfied until I actually have time to sit down for a meal. 5Best Greens Product I've TriedI've used several greens formulas (Greens Plus, Emerald Balance, Pro Greens, etc.) and this is my favorite both in terms of taste and it's impact on my performance. Always good for a midday energy boost, just don't expect the same type of effects as a stimulant based product. 5
