Noticeably boosts my alertness & mental clarityThis really works!I have ongoing alertness, focus, and cognitive problems due to (a) chemo brain fog from high-dose chemo some years ago and (b) the chronic fatigue syndrome it caused (a.k.a. SEID, systemic exertion intolerance disease).I take Niagen first thing in the morning on an empty stomach with these other "brain boosters": L-tyrosine, L-theanine, and theacrine. The effect is much stronger with Niagen in the mix. On average I enjoy 1 to 5 more hours per day when I can think clearly and do stuff. Highly recommended!5Feeling great again on NAD3I am 58 years old, in good health and work out and run regularly. As I continue to get older, I noticed that I just wasn't a sharp as I had been, multi tasking seemed harder and my focus and concentration wasn't what it used to be. My memory was also getting worse. I started taking this product back when it was Niagen and saw some great improvements. The improvements were subtle but continuous. Better memory and better concentration at work. Recently I changed to NAD3 and I'm now on my second bottle and have seen even better improvements. The best way I can explain it is my mental fog has gone away. At work, I have much more focus and get more done. My memory is better and I'm not searching for my words. I take the recommended dose of 2 pills first thing when I wake up in the morning. If your goals are like mine in life and you demand quality... this is it!5Works when other brands don'tMy first order for HPN NAD+ was a miracle and worked enormously well in about a week or less. Then I could no longer find it on Amazon so I tried 3 other brands and got no increase just a maintenance effect. Then I found HPN again and tried NAD3 and it is as effective as the first HPN NAD+ product. I'm once again amazed at how effective it is for me.5Less gray hair and better skin!I have been using this product for several years now. I tried it mostly because I was curious, but now I keep buying it because it works for me. I started getting gray (white, because I'm a natural blonde) hair in my late 30s. Now in my mid 40s, I have less white hair than I did before! Don't get me wrong, I still have some, but it's a lot less! I think it took 3 or 4 months before I noticed a difference with my hair, but my skin elasticity improved in the first month, and that was what motivated me to try this in the first place- those fine wrinkles I had started to see! I believe this supplement is energy enhancing because i get only 3-4 hours sleep at night & after taking this I am able to accomplish many things before i ever get the coffee brewing. There are many demands & responsibilities required of me first thing in the morning & i am able to manage them with speed & enthusiasm. I am not one to take any type of supplement without first researching it. While I am not considered overweight, I have been carrying an extra 10-15 pounds since I entered my 50s, in spite of a good diet and exercise that I have maintained throughout my life. I started taking them 30 days ago and did not expect to see miraculous improvements as I know that ample time is needed to show results for any type of supplement and was already committed to at least a 90 day trial. Here is what happened. First, there were no side effects whatsoever. I simple took these daily with Pterostilbene as is recommended. During this time I ordered several clothing items on line for the winter months and started receiving them about a week ago, which was when I was finishing up my first bottle. Much to my surprise, they were all too big! I had to return and size down one size on everything I ordered. I have never had to do that before. I also just feel better overall. I will post again when I finish month 2 with more observations. So far, I am thrilled!!5FYI: No longer contains nicotinamide riboside (Niagen).Just so absolutely everyone is aware, this product (after 2018) no longer contains Niagen -- it's an alternative to Nicotinamide Riboside. Whether the substitute works for you as an effective (or more effective) NAD+ stimulant is, of course, going to be up to you. I suspect there are some who are not reading the bottle carefully or who do not keep up with industry news.So far there hasn't been much of a change for me, but I've also taken other supplements in areas that NAD(3) also works in. This may be a good value even just from an economical perspective there. Will update in the future if any effects are noted over the long term.4I take the recommended dose of two pills per dayI tried Niagen about two weeks ago. I was very skeptical of this product. I take the recommended dose of two pills per day. The bottle says that two pills equal 250 mg. I am 55 years old and work out three times per week. Before taking Niagen, if I over-did it at the gym, I would pay a big price. I would feel flu like symptoms for a day or two. Now, after taking Niagen for two weeks, I'm spending 40 minutes on the elliptical machine running at a very good pace along with lifting weights. I have no flu like symptoms at all. This product is fantastic. I really can't believe the increase in energy. So, now on days I don't work out, I scale back to only 1 pill (125mg) and it still boosts my energy level. If I take two capsules on a day I don't work out, I have trouble getting to sleep that night. Also, along with Niagen, I take Pterostilbene, which I also purchased on Amazon. Together, these energy boosters are a hit with me.5
