like monkey handsWell, I was hoping these would be of help. When I put them on, I was feeling mild compression, but in the wrong ways. The gloves made my hands lean in towards my palms, like monkey hands, and when I would flex my hands erect, that's the only time I would feel slight improvement. Keeping my hands erect all the time was not possible, so I gave up wearing them for a while. I had a thought, though, so I put the gloves on the opposite hands, which was an interesting feat, and to my surprise, now I feel compression !!! Having the grip dots, being on the backs of my hands, makes it a little less than helpful. Oh well. I'll just see if the gloves work any better now for their intended purpose. 3Great for women with small hands. Flexible! These gloves are awesome! I have really small hands so most compression gloves are not tight enough to provide any compression. These help my arthritis and I can wear them during the day as I type away. Going to order a spare pair. 5These gloves have been the best purchase I've ever madeThese gloves have been the best purchase I've ever made. I have ERS type three and have issues with my joints dislocating during any physical activity. My shoulders, my wrists, my neck, my ankles, but most of all my fingers. I've spent quite a bit of time putting my fingers back into place each day. These gloves have been a lifesaver!! No more dislocated fingers. It's been amazing and I highly recommend these to anyone with similar problems to mine. I love the grip on the palms that helps me to hold on the things. These gloves are fantastic! 5Not just for people with arthritis! -- REVIEW CHANGED/RATING LOWEREDREVIEW EDITED AND RATING CHANGED -- LOWERED TO THREE STARSUPDATE: Less than a year after getting a second pair of these gloves (holes developed in my first pair, as noted below), the seam along the thumb of one glove of the second pair split open. Clearly the stitching came out. I was able to sew it back together, but I shouldn't have had to. Now I don't know if I'll ever order another pair of these again.I don't have arthritis -- I wear these gloves as liners under heavier gloves on really cold days and I wear them on their own when it's not as cold out, and I just want something to keep my hands comfortable. They're perfect for both uses -- and I like the way these gloves look. They make my fingers look long and slim.Since these are compression gloves, they feel almost too snug when you first wear them, but they will stretch over time. Because they are snug but not bulky, you still have good manual dexterity while wearing them. The grippy dots are helpful. The only reason why I didn't give this product 5 stars is the fact that a hole developed in my first pair after about a year. I'm pretty sure the hole was caused by one of my rings, because the hole was positioned right over it. If you wear any rings -- particularly bulky ones with big stones -- you might experience the same problem. My ring wasn't even big -- it was a flat band, but it had a textured weave pattern and it spins, so I assume the hole was caused by friction against the ring. I wear a different flat band on another finger, and a hole didn't develop over that one. I've ordered another pair of these gloves, so we'll see how long they last. 3Beware, these gloves are not returnable!!!These gloves could be good if they fit well and the fingers were not too long. The inside curve of the gloves between the two middle fingers is a lot higher than the others causing discomfort in those fingers as well as across the knuckles. A good fit is imperative if you are depending on these gloves to eliminate pain. The gloves are a little too bulky for typing, but are probably fine for most usages. Other than that, they seem to have a nice amount of support throughout the glove, fit according to the size chart and seem to be made well. Unfortunately, because of the way the gloves are cut they cause too much pain and discomfort for me to wear. If you are extra sensitive due to Fibromyalgia, Lupus, Arthritis, etc., the many seams may cause discomfort with the compression. You can wear them inside out if you don't care about seeing the seams, but then the grippy bumps are inside. Beware when you compare these gloves to others that most companies offer a 100% satisfaction and money back guarantee. Shame on me, I did not notice that these gloves are not returnable. And what does that say about the item and the company? 2OkayThe grips are helpful. The grips on the thumbs are 3/4 inch too short and should go nearly to the tip of the finger for correct functionality. The fingers are all VERY LONG, so if you have piano hands these will fit well. Otherwise, it will be hard to scrunch them down as the re very slim and quite tight. I couldn t get the Medium on - so tight! Like for a dog paw. The size Large goes on, is quite snug, and will work, but neither the fit nor design are ideal as is. Also, the seams need to be on the outside. 3The glove compression feels good but they are very hard to get off if ...The glove compression feels good but they are very hard to get off if you have arthritic thumbs. I even sized up because overly tight things bother me. Some of the fingers are too long, so I just roll them and fold them over, making it easier to use electronic devices with your bare finger pads. I like the gripping dots which are effective when grabbing drinking glasses and other slippery items. All in all, I am keeping them and will get good use out of them. 4My father suffers from horrible cramps in his hands that strike without rhyme or ...My father suffers from horrible cramps in his hands that strike without rhyme or reason. These gloves are the only thing we have found that helps with these cramps. When he feels a cramp coming on, he quickly pulls the gloves on (which he keeps with him at all times) to try and stop the cramp from becoming too horrible. Within minutes, his hands are feeling better. He has even taken to wearing them when he mowing the yard now to prevent cramps before they start. And it works every single time. These gloves are truly a God-send for my father.I even got myself a pair because I sometimes get cramps on long distance driving trips. They make all the difference in the world. 5Save your money!I'm in medical field and only bought these for a project I'm working on, not because I have painful hands. First, the quality poor. Second, if you buy these thinking they will change your arthritis pain then you will be disappointed. If you have arthritis in the hands, buy cotton/wool gloves that about 3 mm thick. Cut the finger tips off (from the last finger joint) so you can grab things if needed and have your finger tips able to hold things. Apply castor oil to your hands at night before bed, and then put the gloves on just before you go to sleep. Take them off in the morning and then repeat every night. Only apply castor oil the first few to several nights until they get damp inside, NOT dripping and soaked through. Then just put on your hands once a week to maintain the saturation point. Your hands will feel much better after a couple to a few weeks. You'll thank me in spirit. 1Best product for arthritis of the hand since ibuprofen! The first pair of arthritis gloves I purchased tore at a seam while putting them on (different maker) and I was somewhat reluctant to buy another pair after that experience. Thankfully I decided to try these. I have to admit that my expectations were low, but these gloves are a MIRACLE! For several months I awoke every morning with the finger next the pinkie on my right hand curled into a claw and very painful to straighten. When the middle finger joined the claw I knew I had to do something. Based on reviews I bought these gloves. I wore the right glove to bed the night they arrived and the next morning my fingers were straight, did not require straightening and were considerably less painful!! I was absolutely astonished as was my wife!! I have been wearing the glove nightly ever since and I think the arthritis in that hand has somehow improved. I was so impressed I bought a second pair for backup, just do not want to be without them. Though my left hand is in better shape I often wear the pair during the day just for the warmth and comfort. 5
