Life changingMy life changed since I started using this product. It's the first menstrual cup I tried and I loved it. It took me a couple of Youtube tutorials to figure out how to properly use it. Once you get a hang of it, it's supper easy to apply and take out. You don't feel it in AT ALL, which I truly love. No discomfort whatsoever. It lasts a whole day, so you don't need to worry about changing and cleaning it in nasty public toilets. If you schedule it well, you can do it at home in the morning before leaving the house, and in the evening when you get back. Once I forgot I had it and left it in for 24h. And there was no problem!I used to hate having my period. This menstrual cup made me look forward to those monthly days! No more wasting money on pads and tampons and producing waste. This cup is comfortable, convenient and eco-friendly, and saves you money. What else would you want?5I m not petite at all, nor a teen, but this cup is good. So, I m not sure why, but everyone seems to think height/weight has something to do with the size of your vaginal canal. I m here to say that I am 6 feet tall, 225 pounds, and have never had a kid, and this has been the only cup I can comfortably situate in myself without frustration and/or pain. I have hardly ever filled it past its half-way mark. I am SO glad this is on the market; however, the weird marketing tool of assuming only pre-teens or petite women could use this cup baffles me. Also, whoever thought a collapsible feature was a great idea for a flexible object that will go inside a tight, no-way-to-see space was mistaken. With all of that said, this product is the only one of its size and I am grateful for that. Also, I appreciate that it is a solid and not transparent silicone since my old cup (from a different company) was a transparent pink silicone and the liquids stained the cup.4Not my first cup, but definitely the best so farI was in a bind and needed to get myself a new cup (long story short- I'm on vacation and aunt flow decided to be a B***h). I searched for a new cup on amazon and came across the Intimina Lily. The original cup I found was a typical cup like my old diva and luna cups. I hated the diva cup since the material was very uncomfortable - felt it inside me every move I made. Loved the luna cup because its soft material, high capacity, easy to insert and remove and easy maintenance - plus came as a package of varying sizes so I didn't have to guess my size. Regrettably I didn't bring my luna on vacation and needed a new one ASAP. The regular lily looked big and awkwardly shaped so i decided on the the lily one for both its shape and discreet portability. Was nervous about the package saying teen as I am very much not a teen anymore but its just the right size for me. (Yes, sexually active but no, no kids). The material is soft, no scratchy edges like some silicons have due to manufacturing. It folded nicely, easy to insert and can't feel it inside except when I contort my body in a weird way. The little pull tab is convenient too although Im sure it'll break after quite a few uses if not treated with care. Overall, very satisfied with this product.5Not for meMy first cup was a diva cup and it was always a hit or miss when I would use it during my cycle but I didn t like how hard the silicone was bc it would give me trouble urinating. So I figured the lily cup was what I needed. I was wrong. It hurts to insert it and since it s collapsible, it not like once inside I can just adjust it by pushing it up bc it jut starts to fold in and it makes it uncomfortable. But the cup itself I so soft and I really had hopes that it would be the one. But sadly it was not1the *exploitative* Holy GrailI will abbreviate, please beware, it is for your sanity. Spoiler on bottom for those in hurry and who dont care =)LilyCup Compact small(A) will be LcSLilyCup One will be LcOMiluna shorty sport small will be M3s (and thats exactly why)I have used the original LcS for years prior to finding LcO. I have also used M3s for just as long. Recently, I had lost my LcS so it was just my M3s which had pros and cons. I love how portable the compact lines are. You do not have to worry about them getting punctured by random things because they are in a discrete carry case, which literally can go in your girl jean front pocket without deforming them. (kinda unrealistic, but you get the idea). I had an issue though because even the small size was too big. I had all sorts of issues with it including collapsing the cup while it was inside of me. Id frequently break the seal even just walking and heaven forbid if I needed to cough. (this is all relevant!) So I found myself quiet often carrying it just in case when I got close to starting, but Id ultimately use the M3s. When I asked the company (Intimina) if they could make a smaller one I was told they had no plans and would not be. SO. I guess its a good thing I lost mine, because lo and behold, I found this gem! Yes. A gem. Its like the Holy Grail of SacredTime care. Firstly, its narrower than the LcS is. Its the same narrowness as the M3s which is really nice. Ive found that the narrowness makes a difference with breaking the seal, theres not as much to "crumple". Infact, Im getting over a cold from hell (and its also that time, yey me *rolls eyes*) and Ive had a nasty cough and I didnt break my seal coughing and have to rush to the bathroom a single time. Nice right? It sits better as a result. The silicone Intimina uses for their products is amazing. They have that hands down over the M3s, it feels better using it, and its easier to rinse or wipe clean on the go or at work. (which is another nice bonus of the compact lines). I like the shape of the LcO MUCH more than the LcS. The style change on the end make a HUGE difference. Its less of a cony point and more of a gentle curve. It may be harder to collapse as some reviews point to (precious star pads is great on all SacredTime care) BUT I found that makes it SO much more comfortable to wear. About the end too, its a ring. At first I was off put, but actually, I think its probably my favorite Ive tried now. I hate the stem, and the ball, whatever. Its uncomfortable, I have a low cervix so the tab part of the cup is almost exposed. Its just barely inside of me, M3s is the only cup Ive found that actually sits above my pubic bone fully. The rest are just too long =(If you have this issue you know exactly what I mean, if not your golden so dont give it a care =)So its necessary for me to cut the end off, or they just poke and jab and its uncomfortable I dont even care how soft or small its still something inside you. And it was uncomfortable. In retaliation for being cut off, theres no way to actually get a nice soft cut. The edges wont wear down. So I had to cut carefully, but even then the edges where pronounced. Sometimes Id get so raw right there from it being to big Id get cuts. I do not have that with the LcO at all.I didnt find a need to cut the ring style off, the design change and it being smaller than the LcS made it where it wasnt hitting that painful place. And while it still is too long, its much much more comfortable. The ring just gets squished however your body pleases so its minimally noticeable, until its very useful =D(((((((Note, Ive always used tampons, but theyd always hurt me. Even the smallest ones where more of a plug. Id crumple them and compact hem down so they where just this hard poky rod tormenting me and basically just acting like a stopper until blood came, so i had a warning to get to a bathroom. They couldnt absorb because I squished them. I dont have those issues with any mooncup Ive tried. So if thats you, I implore you please try this. Also, my periods got EXCEPTIONALLY LESS PAINFUL after ditching cotton. Instantly. Yes less pain. and its cheaper. And better for the environment. Please ladies lets up our conscious game)))))))In conclusion, I love the LilyCup One. Its small, its soft, its secure and comfortable. I dont have to worry about leaks, its portable, and so good for you and the environment! If you are thinking about this and unsure, think of how much you spend on tampons or pads for one single month. Thats the price of this. Which is good for YEARS. Years. Not to mention its not cotton. Which is probably a gmo crop, cause organic tampons arent something most are even aware of. Because it just collects blood instead of absorbing it, theres no risk of TSS. And pads on underwear just feels like a soggy wet diaper thing. I dont like it. If it looks huge in the pictures with my hand, I assure you it isnt, I am just small. Tall and lanky like a beautiful tree =)2nd to last is the fold I like, I forget the name but you take the edge to the middle in front, then do the same to the back, lots easier than the c and it doesnt do that snappy pain flick the punchdowns do when they pop open.In short LilyCup One is amazing. I hope this helps every single person to read this. I truly do. I love our planet, so so much. I love my own body, and I love all of you. I want everyone as healthy and full of energy as they can possibly stand.5Totally awesomeThis was my first menstrual cup, and it s been great! The little handle makes things easier to get used to. Unfortunately I have had to trim mine off because it was too long for me. :( But I still thoroughly enjoy my menstrual cup and sometimes even look forward to that time of the month! Just because I am so excited about using my cup. It s been life changing. I was a tampon user before but even with great hygiene, I would experience that period-odor down there. With the cup, I don t get that AT ALL. I m never looking back.5It s an awesome period cup...especially for beginnersAwesome cup! This was my first time using a menstrual cup and it truly was perfect for beginners. I like that the silicone is so soft you don t even feel it. I also like that it s collapsible and easy to carry around. The ring was very helpful in removing the cup and I found that the rim makes a very good seal to prevent leaks once you insert the cup correctly. Read carefully though ladies, the cup says it s only for light to medium flow and I found that to be accurate. Use a pantilner with this as well just Incase you have a leak. I found I only had leaks once the cup was full. If you re going to use this on a heavy day you ll have to change it out more often. The only thing I didn t like was the smell the cup had after using it on my period. However once I sanitized the cup by microwave boiling it the scent came right out. Also, the smell did not affect the ph of my vagina. Overall this is a great starter cup. It got me interested in trying the others intima has available. I would highly recommend this cup.5Not Shallow Enough but Very SoftThis cup was still not shallow enough for me. After two kids my cervix is very low. I think I will have to give up on trying to find a cup that works. If you have tried all the other shallow ones and are hoping this one might work, it probably won t. It is very soft and made out of a nice silicone.3Don t buy it for the case.So far so good, although as other reviewers mentioned it takes practice. One major disappointment is the case. SO flimsy! I ll be surprised if it lasts a week. The hinge is just a tiny sliver of cheap plastic. I was hoping to use the case for travel but it will never hold up in a backpack.4Consider Me ConvertedI love, love, LOVE my Lily Cup One. Usually I mixed up use of pads (the first couple days) and tampons. I ve always been prone to bad cramps and was hesitant to make this change believing I would not see any difference in that. My overall experience of cramping from something being inserted has not fully gone away but it is so much milder than it ever was! I also love the all day clean feeling. It took some off-season (aka not menstruating) practice to get myself comfortable with the insertion fold I prefer and the maintenance process but when my monthly came it made the first experience a breeze.TL;DR: Less cramping and more fresh feels are worth more than 5 stars. Make the switch today!5
