WTF??The bag came opened and a pin hole in bag also.1If you like coffee bold - you may love it! Excellent customer service . . followed up with me and made sure to make it right.I am used to a light roast, and that is my personal preference This coffee is Kimera's lightest roast, I was told, but it was still too dark, intense, bitter for my tastes. Amazon did not allow me to return it for a refund (perhaps because it's a food, not sure) but after I left my review Kimera Koffee reached out to me via e-mail and wanted to make it right, and did offer a refund or a replacement to try some of their other products. So I really appreciate their excellent customer service and willingness to reach out to me as a customer to make it right. The flavor/boldness is just not my preference on this coffee. However, if you love your coffee bold - you may love it!3Will be a customer as long as Kimera Koffee is still being producedI am relatively new to biohacking and nootropics, but in my short time i've done a lot of research and self experimenting with different products. One of my staples is a ketogenic lifestyle (which promotes brain health and is helping me drop a significant amount of weight) which for me involves a daily dose of grass fed butter coffee with mct oil. I've used a lot of coffee brands including bulletproof, caveman coffee, kicking horse, death wish, etc , etc. All of the above are GREAT coffees but they all have another thing in common: the inevitable energy crash.Thanks to the nootropics in this "Koffee" you won't experience that crash (warning: nootropics and caffeine effect everyone differently). Not only do the Nootropics give you an even greater pick me up but they make it nice and even, no jitters and no crash. I've been buying Kimera for a couple months now from here or from their website, and i'm thoroughly impressed by the quality of the product, the responsiveness of the owners, and most importantly the owner's drive to succeed and make their product a household name. Shout out to the Mind Pump Mafia!5Emotionally pleasantOh yes, this dear coffee to my heart, what can I say to Express my deep feeling to this chemical harmony of coffee blend, I have brewed this in my aero press, and my manual drip, while aero press provides the best taste, drip still makes a great cup from this coffee, the taste is subtle and very earthy, aroma is satisfying, there are special notes of taste that distinguish this coffee from all others I had tried before, in a very pleasant way, after effects, aside from enjoying this delicious coffee, the effects it gently introduce is far more important, it doesn't give a 'jolt' like effect like others, instead it ramps up your systems in a controlled manner, in other words your brain is will be prepared for the power delivery its about to receive, and then the energy you feel is translated in focus, calmness and determination, I accept my day after drinking a cup of this, I accept people, and I accept working, never have I accepted these before, this has now become my only preferred coffee, and am so glad I have finally found it, the price is a bit on the high side but I dont really have a complaint about that, am nitpicking at this point.5Good idea, poor execution.The biggest complaint I have about this product is how inconsistent it is. The supplements are found in large white chunks throughout the coffee. The problem with this is that it is not evenly distributed, so in some servings you will have almost none of the supplements, while others you have too much. The grind is also very fine, causing typical my typical brews to be far too strong. Following their directed amounts left me feeling like I had overdosed, so I cut their recommended amount in half. The white chunks are exactly what make this product unique; the nootropics stacked in this coffee are absolutely amazing in providing mental alertness. (Although feel the immediate effects lessening, as I may be developing a tolerance for the compounds - I'm not sure if this applies to nootropics. Maybe Kimera can jump in and clarify if nootropics need cycling.) I love the taste of the coffee as well.I use a cup of Kimera Coffee in the morning with my herbal fat burn stack and it carries me through to the afternoon until I break my fast at 1 p.m. I've cut from 19% body fat to 14% with getting back to the 10-11% range as my final goal. Drinking two Bangs a day, then weened myself off on three Monster Ultras a day and then decided I was wasting too much money on a bad addiction. I ve always loved coffee but these were much more convenient, tasted good and were great during the hot summer days. However, I always felt better with coffee, always got more of a sharpness from it too, despite all the additional vitamins, and energizing additives in the drinks. Black Rifle Coffee Company has been my usual go to, especially their Fit Blend but I decided to try this after searching around for a coffee with something extra to it. Once I saw this stuff and read up on it, I knew I had to order it.Once I got the coffee, I gave it the smell test and it was rich and full aroma without being anything over-powering. I put the coffee in my new French press and set my kettle to 190 degrees. After pressing, I added a splash of whole milk (after trying it by itself) and the brewed smell was far better than a lot of store bought coffee I ve tried, even some of the BRCC blends too. The flavor is ultra-smooth and not too heavy. I did three table spoons for about 22~24 oz of coffee and it seemed perfect (may need less for you). The feeling is unlike any coffee I ve had before. There were no jitters or shakes or anything, just smooth, sharp, clear-headed energy but at the same time I felt like I was oddly relaxed. It s hard to explain but you feel awakened in a new way. It s not just an anxious, twitchy, mind-racing alertness, it s different and hard to describe. You can tell this has more going on that just the bean itself. My ability to focus and how sharp I felt was far superior to even the best energy drink I ve had. You feel ready to go and a smooth, refreshed feeling with a go-get-em readiness. Whether you re going to the gym, heading to class or work, this will replace everything you re taking currently to give yourself that needed boost, this stuff is the real deal and is far superior to the majority of coffee out there too. Only downside is that it is expensive but it s far cheaper than buying multiple energy drinks a day and is far better for you down the road too. I feel happier and less irritable being finished with those and loyal to this product. It may be more easy to justify since you could potentially save more money if you re also obsessed with additional supplements for focus/mood boosting/mild relaxation. Your mind will feel much clearer and boosted, plus you ll be full of that good ol caffeine you know and love, along with all the additional nootropics and the essential parts of the bean that make the caffeine hit differently from the energy drinks. Do yourself a favor, get this stuff and stop buying your store brand and instant coffee, Folgers, Starbucks, Monster, Reign and Bang. You owe your mind and your body something that will be far more beneficial and nourishing.5Great coffee with a steep price.Great tasting coffee that did seem to add some extra energy and maybe some extra focus. Especially the first couple of times. Could be that it was just a placebo effect or that I quickly built up some level on tolerance because by the end of the bag it kind of just felt like drinking coffee with a little extra caffeine. Like the Maxwell House stuff you can get at the grocery store. Regardless of mental and/or physical effects it s still a fantastic tasting coffee. Truthfully, the only real downside is that it s pretty cost prohibitive to actually drink often.4Good flavor, not bitter, a little extra oomphI waited until I had used all of the product. As a coffee addict and kind of a coffee connoisseur I need my morning Joe. This coffee tastes pretty good. Nice, mellow, and a good flavor. Not too strong and not bitter. For those who want a French roast or strong Sumatra blend, this won't be enough. It is a good flavor and nice smoothness.Does it wake me up more than coffee... maybe. I do think it has a little extra oomph in the morning.However, the price is kind of high. I may be it again if it gets on the subscription. Or as an occasional drink.But, overall, very pleased.4
