Extremely DisappointedI was thrilled to see I could order these! Product arrived in sturdy cardboard packaging; so far, so good. Couldn't wait to unwrap one! Unfortunately, candy was brittle and stuck together. It was very difficult to separate one from its roll without either breaking in half or crumbling. Immediately looked for expiry date and found "September 2016" Not great, but not the worst of news. Still, this product was certainly not at its best; at some point in its life, it must have been stored improperly (interior of hot truck or storeroom) and suffered the consequences.Had a fresh roll in my desk so did a direct A-to-B comparison. Yup... huge difference between the two. My crumbly ones have the same great taste but that's it. I'll probably grind most of them up and use them for ice cream topping. Very disappointed and I will not order from this company again. I suggest you do not either.2Convenient to carry, smaller than most hard candyI hadn't had Life Savers in decades. Unfortunately, my PT had butterscotch candies in a bowl in her waiting room, and I got hooked again. The butter rum description for these intrigued me, and I thought I'd try these instead, as they're smaller, and I thought they would be easier to carry, being in a roll. I like the taste a little bit better than butterscotch, except there isn't much of a change in the flavour which the butterscotch goes through toward the end perhaps they're better blended.5Great flavor, little stickyGreat flavor. However every roll is sticky. Many are stuck together. I out them in the fridge. The flavor is great. Well worth the money if you love that butterum flavor from all those years ago!4O M G.. I ended up throwing out several rolls that had bad or partially unwrapped rolls in them, and so far, not one of the packs has tasted remotely fresh. They all seem either stale, stuck together, broken, or some combination of that. I included a picture of what one of the rolls in the box actually looked like as I received it.Completely unacceptable, I will not order these again.1The Gift that Keeps GivingOkay, so can we all accept that butter rum is the best flavor of Life Savers? And I can never find more than a roll or two in the stores. I was pleased to find this great deal. A bag a month for a year as a gift. Very happy recipient! Arrived timely and safely packed so none of the hard candies were broken. This is a good price per ounce, also. I shopped around online. Two thumbs up (or, in this case, five stars).5
