Great product!My ophthalmologist noticed Drusen deposits in one of my eyes on my last visit. He recommended I start taking an AREDS formulation, but he did not specify any particular brand. I did my research and based on ingredient list, ingredient quantities per pill, thoroughness as evidenced through documentation, and customer reviews, I concluded that Lipotriad Visionary is the best formulation available today.I've been taking it for a few months, which isn't really long enough to notice vision improvements. However, my optomitrist checked my eyes four weeks ago and said he did not see any problems, and he could barely see the Drusen. I'll know more after getting checked again next year by my ophthalmologist, but I am encouraged.I love that one pill per day is all that is required. I don't like taking pills anymore than anyone else so anything that reduces the number of pills I take every day is helpful. These go down easy too. Don't wait until you have a problem to start taking these - get started now and keep your eyes as healthy as possible for as long as possible! 5capsules fall short of the advertised 2 month supplythis is my third bottle suppose to be 2 month supply falling short of this did not think much of this till realized my previous order was in August around the 10 and by September 15 had to reorder delivered September 20 will count the capsules for sure this time round it should last me very least up to November 15 hopefully it was one off and the count will be good using it for after macular hole vitrectomy surgery the ingredients are ok still fall short of the recommended daily dosage dont see any difference visually after three bottles 2My wife's macular degeneration has not advanced at all!My wife has macular degeneration. Her eye Dr. prescribed a more expensive medicine, but with the same ingredients as the Lipotriad Visionary AREDS2. We thought we would save some money and try this less expensive brand. We are very pleased to say that after 2 years taking this medicine, my wife's macular degeneration has not advanced at all! And we saved a lot of money! 5More natural formula & only 1 cap per day-After my eye doctor told me I should be taking an 'Areds 2 formula', as I had the beginnings of macular degeneration, I started researching them all. As one who avoids artificial stuff in general, this formula stood out to me above the rest: it has natural vitamin e, the d-alpha, not the synthetic dl-alpha; and it has no chemical dyes, which who ever needs that in a pill. It also has a good balance of nutrients as recommended, and in only 1 small cap per day, instead of the more common 2 caps. It's comparably priced and seems to me to be better than other areds 2 formulas. Will bring the box to show my eye dr. this visit, I don't think they are familiar with this brand, and many people would like the option of a more natural formula. Time will tell if an areds2 supplement will help me, but this is one to try. 4MisleadingMisleading because the manufacturer states that it "Includes all 6 key ingredients in the AREDS 2 Study". What is not mentioned is that the quantity of these key ingredients does not meet the requirements listed in the results of the AREDS 2 study. I was not careful about comparing the details and, therefore, made the assumption that this supplement did comply with those results. My ophthalmologist wanted me to take the supplement that matched the AREDS 2 study results as I am already showing beginning ARMD. Cannot waste time trying anything less. Returned my order unopened, untouched. 2It's NOT the Areds II FormulaFrom the package: "Specialized AREDS II Based Formula with all 6 Key Active Ingredients." That's not entirely untrue, but it is entirely misleading. Lioptriad Visionary does NOT contain the recommended AREDS II amount of most of the vitamins and minerals. For example, it has 113 mg of vitamin C, compared with the recommended 500 mg, and half the recommended Vitamin E.It does say to take only one capsule per day. so a person could take two, but that would double the cost and also double the amount of lutein and zeaxtanthin, both of which are supplied in roughly the AREDS II recommended amounts.The package proudly exhibits the WOMEN OWNED logo. I would be embarrassed if I were they. 1Extremely happy with this product!I am extremely happy with this product! it came very nicely packaged, with a ton of information on the packaging. It really is a quality supplement with tons of good vitamins and minerals in there for healthy eyes. The softgels are easy to swallow and have no bad flavors. I love that it is only one softgel per day which makes it easy to incorporate into my daily nutrition regimen. 5For Your Eye HealthI cannot state that these are the best vitamins for your eyes, because I haven't taken them long enough. However, I can honestly say these vitamins were recommended for my husband who is in the early stages of macular degeneration and myself to prevent the onslaught of cataracts. They were recommended by an Optometrist and an Ophthalmologist. We picked these because they were recommended for smokers. Some vitamins have an adverse affect on those who smoke. Choose wisely, but know I do recommend this brand. 5Easy AssuranceLipotriad Visionary is the easiest assurance I've experienced re: supplemental support for my eye health. Even though I have my eyes examined annually, I wanted to do more. I have eye issues in my family, and believe that dietary supplements are worthwhile. I am really pleased with the ingredients, and also I find the required one softget per day a relief after trying other supplements requiring multiple pills per day. I especially like the softgel as opposed to hard pills, too. This is my 2nd order, and with the price being right, I hope that Amazon Smile continues to keep this product available. 5It actually works!I am forever in debt with the invention of this wonderful product. I was diagnosed with dry macular degeneration and my opthamologist said there was really nothing that could be done. Instead I did some research on my own, on what supplements may help and found Lipotriad Vitamins to have all the ingredients needed in just one capsule!It's been almost a year since I've been taking Lipotriad Visionary, as I primarily found it at my local CVS drugstore. Unfortunately, it was no longer conveniently available there and was able to find it on Amazon.com.All in all, since taking Lipotriad Visionary, my opthamologist was surprised what a difference of improvement it has made, with my dry macular degeneration and he is recommending your product to his other patient thanks to my experience I have had, in seeing results!Thank you! 5
