Marriage savers!Marriage savers. Husband snores....? Get these.Break one piece into two equal pieces (their too big). Shove the piece firmly against your ear canal. Not in. Some it will go into the ear canal, but it's not like it's going to end up lost in your ear. It all stays stuck together. If your ears are clean (I clean mine each night with some rubbing alcohol and a q-tip) the earplugs will do a GREAT job of blocking out noise.A co-worker gave me a few of these right after my husband and I got back from our honeymoon and I was appalled to find out just how bad he snored....(yes, we waited).Now 13 years later, I won't be without these things. Again.... Marriage savers. 5Great For Rock ConcertsThese are great plugs if you are going to a very loud event, like a rock concert. I purchased them in time to attend a TSO show, and they worked beautifully. You can still hear the concert. But these plugs really bring the volume down to a manageable level and they save you from hearing damage. You just have to roll these around a bit, to mold them into shape. Otherwise, I typically use the Ear Classics for other purposes like going on the subway or sleeping. The Ear Classics are not nearly as noise-blocking, but are just so much easier to insert and are softer. I find the Mack's a bit harder to sleep with because they are way denser, but have to admit they are way more effective at noise-blocking than just about anything out there. I am going to try them again a few times for sleep to see if I can get used to them. 4Safe and reusable.I have used these since 2001. The only kind I ever use, I sleep better with them.To answer others questions: yes you can use these more then once. I will use a set at least 3 to 4 times. Use it till it wont stay stuck in anymore.Yes, you also can partially insert this into the canal to block sound. I turn mine into a round ball, I rip a bit of the extra wax off..to make it fit right. It is safe, and I have been doing it for 16 years with no problems ever!! 5Just enough to block the snoringThese earplugs are saving my marriage. I've tried everything because my husband snores like a jackhammer next to my head.Hearos really block the sound more, 33 decibels, but uncomfortable to wear overnight. These are rated at 22 decibels and are soooo much more comfortable.I'm still able to hear my alarm clock, my husband snoring, but it's bearable and they are so comfortable. I'm sleeping through the night, waking up without painful ears and digging my new earplugs.You have to be careful with these and be sure you follow the directions to prevent them from breaking off in your ear and causing a real problem. No more than 5 wears, make sure you don't press into canal and sleep well. 5Works great for meI've used these over several years during motorcycle riding - helps with the wind noise and allows hearing whatever audio is pumped into my helmet speakers. I've worn them anywhere from 1 hour to 20 hours at a single sitting to daily for a 3 week period. Never had any type of discomfort. They do accumulate grime from your fingers as you remove/re-add during stops, etc., so I sometimes replace w/new sooner that I want just because they are too 'dirty' looking and that's why I buy them in bulk so I'm never without. The plastic container is perfect for storing them in a bag, pocket, tour pak, etc. I personally like them better than other ear plugs I've tried and of course your mileage may vary, but I tend to stick to what works good for me. I recommend and would/will buy again. 5If you are like me, someone who is likely to swim at ...If you are like me, someone who is likely to swim at least 6 days out of a 7 day week you live off this product. When I swim, I swim for exercise, survival, meditation, and fun! I try to incorporate each of these within usually a 1 hour program. This includes lap swimming, and towards the end of my routine swimming down to 15 ft below the water. Those of you who swim know that the vinyl or plastic earplugs just do not work!!!I have found that with swimming at 12 feet to 15 feet that the product only works for two sessions, or in my case two days. The product does advertise that they can be reused up to 5 times, or when product is no longer tacky. I would imagine if all you do is lap swim and do not dive under the water and swim at the bottom you may be able to use each pair up to 5 times.So for you wide range swimmers out there this product works. It keeps you from having to presurise, and of course the number one thing it is excellent in keeping the water out! And for the cost you can't beat it!!! 5I love these. Because of the new noisy neighbor that ...I love these. Because of the new noisy neighbor that starts up at all hours of the day I have had to begin using ear plugs. I tried the foam ones and after two nights my ears begin to hurt. Then I tried the wax with the cotton around them, because they didn't completely soften after warming up they too hurt my ears. So I tried these "Mack's" that are silicone and they work perfect. They form mostly on the area around the opening for your ear and just stick. They will begin to go slightly in your ear, but not too far and you don't to force it in as it may come apart and stick to the inside of your ear probably causing a trip to the dr. to have it removed. Just try to warm it a bit and start pressing around the outer portion. I clean my ears each morning as they will begin to sweat and I learned recently that I can rinse off the plugs and they will stay clean and keep sticking for up to three weeks so far. This 4 pack will last a really long time and well worth the money. 5What's REALLY important to know!!!I wear these every night. I have fibromyalgia and a good night's sleep is essential to lessen pain. I LOVE these ear covers ... I can hardly hear a thing. I only need one that I split in two, shape them into semi-puffy ovals and place them in such a way that they are like "walls" covering the openings of my ears. I don't push them into the ear canal at all, only around it. Others have said that they don't stay sticky. The secret is super clean hands and no oil or make-up in the ear. I make sure my fingers are really clean before handling them to avoid bacteria that could cause ear infection. I also clean my ears with alcohol/q-tip before putting them on my ears and a q-tip swab when I take them off just to remove any moisture or oil. Another tip for keeping them sticky is slightly pulling them and folding them over several times before shaping. Mine last almost a week. I don't know what I would do without them!!! 5Great for moderate noise reduction and very comfortableLove em! I ve worn a pair of these comfy earplugs every night for more than ten years. Of course not the same pair. I change them every three or four days when they become too dirty loosing their stickiness and fall out during the night. I was concerned that my ears might accumulate silicone films or wax on them, so have used a Q-tip to wipe inside ears 2-3x/year (excluding canal). Recent ear exam showed my ears to be free of any wax, etc build up. I like that they don t completely block out all noise and merely muffle sounds to white noise even with my bedroom window half open (reside in small but active small city). Sounds these earplugs allow me to sleep through: neighbor s dog that barks-all-night-long with about a 2-second pause between each aarrfff, police sirens on a street 5 blocks away, and early morning lawnmowers next door. 5Super impressedI love these ear plugs. The foam kind never worked for me, they always fell out and I didn t feel like they really made a difference.These silicone ones are so good, it s dangerous. I live in the city off of a busy street and it s been hard to have a sound sleep with cars going at all hours. Add that to an occasional bout of snoring from my bedmate and it can really put a damper on your sleep quality.I put one of these in my left ear and it makes such a difference in the quality of my sleep.I only use one because otherwise I wouldn t be able to hear anything and that can be dangerous too.Bottom line: highly recommend if you need true sound blocking ear plugs. 5
