I have great blood pressureI think I just purchased my sixth bottle of Magnesium 500 mg. I actually take one pill in the morning and one in the evening. I no longer have chronic headaches, I have great blood pressure, I feel stronger and more focused. I don't tend to have joint pain when working out - and I am 56. I think, for me, it has been a great supplement.5it helpsIf you are on the fence about buying this product, don't hesitate. It is absolutely one of the best supplements I have ever taken. I was feeling irritated and tired after giving birth.This helped me tremendously. I have more energy, can sleep better, not that anxious as I was.5Lead contaminatedAfter seeing an online source Labdoor about the purity of this product, I used lead testing swabs and it did show a high positive for lead. Pretty much explains why myself and my baby tested high for lead. We were confounded because our household and water tested okay and we couldn't figure out where the lead was coming from. It was my kinesiology who recommend it to me. I start w/ other brand and was very expensive and it gave be diarrhea so I keep changing manufactures until I found Nature s Life Magnesium. Only one pill a day, I took mine after breakfast had help me maintained regular. No side effects no diarrhea, because it contains both: oxide and citrate. Really recommend this product.5Good balanced blendI really like this. It's pretty much exactly what I was expecting. It may not be perfect, but, for what it is, and for the price its sold for, its not a bad buy at all! In fact its quite good. I was a little concerned when I saw that it had magnesium oxide in it...not that that is dangerous or anything, just that it is typically used as either a laxative or a cheap filler ingredient, as it is so poorly absorbed....but, the reason I ended up purchasing it, was because,though I mostly am interested in absorbable forms, I do infact have a need for something to help keep me regular as well, so it seemed like a good idea to include it in the formula, as long as it included some better absorbed forms as well..the citrate in it is just that, extremely well absorbed, and the malate is as well! And, I suffer fibromyalgia, and it turns out that malate is the preferred form for my affliction...so overall a nicely balanced blended profile of several forms of this miracle nutrient! I like that it has some b vitamin added, although the amount in it may be negligible, its still good to get a little boost of b....I have been using this at night to help with sleep, to ease muscle pain and cramps, to ease fybromyalgia, to prevent tolerance to adderall and opiates due to its nmda antagonism, and to add magnesium to my diet. So far I like it and haven't noticed any ill effects, and have noticed some mild improvements....I think this is a keeper. I still like other forms like threonate for cognitive purposes, and if you take add meds, take this at night so that the citrate doesnt interfer with absorbtion of your prescribed meds. If you need magnesium during day and take add meds or narcolepsy meds, take glycinate or l threonate for that purpose instead and use this at night4Take if You Want to Live in the BathroomI need to take magnesium for muscle cramps and heart health. If I wanted a laxative, I would suggest Milk of Magnesium, which has Magnesium Oxide. This product has three different types of Magnesium: Oxide, Citrate and Malate. Oxide and Citrate help with constipation and provide a laxative effect, resulting in a lots of time in the bathroom! I tried splitting up the dose, no help there. Now I'm seeing reviews talking about excess lead and arsenic, ugh!! This bottle is going in the trash!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!1I love these pillsI love these pills! I suffer from a number of health problems due to my endometriosis, and these pills help so much! It has regulated my system (I've never been regular in my life until now!) I can't say for sure if these pills have done much for my migraines so I can't leave an accurate review on that. But the dosage for this price is the best deal I can find, and these are the best Magnesium pills I have taken yet. I ending up taking 1 a day every other day, and 2 a day every other day, otherwise...:)5Not exactly what it claims to be...Per an independent lab study I found, this product recorded 0.231 mcg of total arsenic per serving & 0.17 mcg of lead per serving. Also, the Magnesium content was measured at 486 mg per serving, 2.8% below its 500 mg label claim. Do your research before purchasing. Cheap for a reason.1Awesome for regularityLove this product!!
