one stop shopYES! Do yourself a favor and forget about the other Nix lice kit (although I LOVED the comb [hello, no tears] in the kit which I found out is sold separately if you re interested!). This is the only product you need! Pros- #1 obviously, the lice were confirmed DEAD afterwards. #2 you don t have to pre shampoo, rinse, towel dry hair then repeat as you do with the kit; with this one, just apply to dry hair, wait 10 minutes, rinse and comb out. It s treatment and conditioner in one so after rinsing, the hair is tangle free and ready to easily comb through. The only con is that the conditioner really does its job so I had to shampoo her hair a couple times the next day to bring down the crazy oiliness.5Oily but worth it so farCould not get rid of the lice. Treated combed repeat three times . Pulled live ones off shortly after treatment as well. I think this did it , I m very allergic to the bites almost instantly the head stopped itching. It feels very tingly on the scalp. It s very oily as well . When you shampoo out there will still be residue. Box says don t use conditioner for three days I don t think it will be needed. There was a lot on residue on the bottom of the tub . Used dish soap to get rid of it . Will retreat in seven days to be sure. I will update my review if more eggs appear on my or my child s hair. Nit comb the comes in box is fairly good a step up from the plastic ones . I didn t use the nit comb it comes with as I bough I very good one.5Three StarsMake sure you wash this out with Dawn dish soap. Regular shampoo will not remove it sufficiently.3Our skin Broke out in hives !! DONT BUY!!!!!It said not toxic, so I bought it for my 8 year old .. she ended up with a burning rush and since I didn t use gloves I had the same rush all over my handPlease do yourself and your family a favor and save yourself the torchure ... It is half the cost of Wal-Mart which has saved me at least $100. My frustration was that I ordered this time twice within two days of one another. One for my daughter and the other for me to use and treat myself. Upon opening the package, both boxes had been previously opened, new stickers were placed on them (one of which was handwritten), and appeared far from new. I have had a hard time trying to figure out how to reach someone in regards to this matter and I hope that someone sees this to at least contact me. I was also concerned because the amount in each container was questionable as well. With both of the boxes having new stickers stating that the item was 'new' I at least attempted to utilize the items due to the dire need situation at hand. Neither treatment worked and I was extremely disappointed. I had purchased this previously and had not had any issues until I had ordered from this particular company. I was devastated and I felt that I had not only wasted my time but also my own money as a single mother of an autistic child. I have not purchased this item since due to this as this has been very frustrating to deal with.1Only thing that's worked for us!I have 3 daughters with long thick hair, and we have been fighting lice for far too long. I decided to give this product a try. It does work! It doesn't stink! I braid my kids hair afterwards because it leaves it very oily even after shampooing but I think it is supposed to stay a little oily to help kill any bugs that might be hanging on for dear life or trying to lay eggs. The comb that comes with the kit is awesome! It gets everything out and I wish I could have bought extra of just the comb so I could always have one when checking the girls hair. I wish I would have tried this product sooner but I was trying to avoid paying so much ($17 at Walmart and I figured I would need 3 boxes) and I am glad I found it a little cheaper on Amazon. Also I can get 2 applications for my 5 year old's long hair. My oldest daughters hair is super thick (breaks rubberbands) hair and I can get 1 application for her and still have enough left to do my youngest daughters medium length curly hair.5YES IT ACTUALLY WORKSMy daughters had lice for six months. We tried EVERYTHING on the market but nothing worked. I saw this new product. ONE time and we were over it. A life saver.5
