Helps my anxiety and doesn't upset my stomachMy stomach can be kind of sensitive when it comes to supplements, but after reading a lot of reviews on different brands I'm happy I chose this one. I got it for the anti-anxiety properties my research says it has, and when I pair it with my L-Arginine I noticed a difference right away! I have seen 5 doctors and they pretty much ignored that I told them I felt it was yeast and kept telling me it was acne. That was until I had to have surgery for a huge infected mass in my neck area and the pathology report came back showing candida albicans. I was on IV antibiotics and anti fungal for weeks yet it still wouldn't go completely away. I tried LED light therapy in amber, green and red as well as soffeglio tones in the 528hz range of Tibeten bowls. This brought much of it too the surface and helped me discover that there was a herpes simplex 1 component to the biofilm. I had just finished up a bottle of L-lysine capsules from another brand and decided to purchase these. They are WAY more effective in treating the herpes simplex 2 in the Biofilm and taken with Yeast/ Fungal detox from Nature's Sunshine and a topical l-lysine ointment from Basic Organics along with continued light and sound therapy, after over 2 years, it is almost gone. It has been a life altering, horrible experience as my entire face was involved. These are very potent and effective pills compared to others I have used in the past. 5Cleared up my Hormonal Acne on chinThis has honest to goodness completely cleared up my hormonal acne breakouts on my chin. I read it would do just that and I bought it once again hoping I would find something to help with my acne. To clear up acne on the rest of the face try a Burdock Root tincture also found on amazon. These two things have helped me more than anything else and together are around $20. 5Cold sore treatment and prevention.I use Lysine to treat and prevent fever blisters/cold sores. NOW is a brand that I rely on for quality and value, IMHO with the reading I have done I find them to be good quality supplements at a price that is reasonable.I take 2 of these a day when I feel a colds ore coming on, and usually (3/4 times) the cold sore does not develop. I m beginning to take hormone balancing supplements and also adding in 50 mg of Zinc to help with my androgen levels. When I clear cystic acne from inside I m sure this will be absolutely helpful. I would recommend trying this with things that get to the root if your acne is hormonal. But if your skin has normal acne this will definitely help! 3
