Glad I bought this on amazon because the value was ...Glad I bought this on amazon because the value was just right and the product got her well.I use jojoba with cream makeup products or when I DIY stuff and need a clean, skin-healthy ingredient. I like mixing it with castor oil for my lashes, and it's another oil I occasionally put in my hair under wigs. It's a very light oil, so it has a few more uses than one with a stickier or heavier texture. I also add it to conditioners and shampoos to immediately soften my hair and protect it from harshness; I love the shine and moisturizing properties it has there.I don't use it on my face anymore as I just have other things to use, but used in TINY amounts (think like a serum!) it's fantastic at night for general skin repair. It's great on wrinkles and uneven skin tones, and adds a healthy glow to your face come next morning. 5A MUST HAVE for every household!NOW Foods has done it again!! Jojoba Oil is a skin/hair loving miracle! I love this brand and use many of the products often if not daily! It can be an overwhelming and cumbersome task trying to choose which product is right for you and your needs. This one fit the bill for me!! 100% jojoba oil that is light, non-fragrant, and is perfect stand alone, as a base for essential oils, a skin softener and believe it or not, this oil can help clear blemishes in just 2-3 days and reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles fairly quickly (try mixing it with Rosehip oil for the anti aging effect). You can also use this on all hair types in many different ways. It's great as a de-tangler or to tame the frizzies that accompany winter months. I read somewhere that this is the closest to a natural oil that our own bodies produce, so it is not like slathering on chemical laden store bought oils that dry out your skin or hair. It absorbs well leaving no greasy residue or feeling behind. One of the simplest oils to start with, just add it directly to your shampoo, conditioner, bodywash etc. Or if you choose, you can begin making your own beauty supplies using this as a base. It's a wonderful multi-use oil and should be in everyone's beauty arsenal, including men! My husband loves this oil as an alternative to aftershave... no burning or irritation to speak of, and his skin is soft and healthy. Guys like to look good too! Don't hesitate to try this one out, if your anything like me, it will soon be a staple in your cabinet! 5perfect every day oil for skin, hair, and bodylovely, multi purpose oil. Jojoba has similar properties to human sebum. Most people can tolerate this oil, and is a really good one to use as base for other nourishing oils or components in DIY skin, body, and hair care. Great as carrier oil for essential oils in massage, too. It is just a good oil to keep on hand. I love NOW products as they offer quality products, hexane free, and bottles of oils in various sizes. If you don't think you will go through a lot, then get the smallest size-- as oils do eventually go rancid. I like that NOW has small bottles. I would rather buy more often than to waste on larger (unless of course I know I would be going through a lot- then they have bigger bottles for that too) 5Great for acne!I bought this oil because I've read around quite a lot that jojoba oil is great for acne prone skin. I've used face washes that had jojoba oil in them, and have seen great results so I decided to buy some natural and see how it works.I haven't used it too often, I mostly just forget. But when I do use it, I put some on a cotton ball and dab onto my face. I put a generous amount to soak in for at least 15 min, before I wash it off in the shower. When I use just a little, it leaves my skin very soft, and though it looks oily, it doesn't FEEL oily, and easily rubs off my fingers so I can just wipe them off with a towel instead of washing, trying to get rid of the grease. I love that. After I use it, I find that my skin is soft, and the acne is less irritated. I also use natural tea tree oil along with it as a spot treatment, and the two together seem to be a good match.I rate it 4/5 stars because I haven't used it often enough to really see what it can do for me. I've used it on my hair and that was pretty nice, too. I know it won't work miracles, and it doesn't work as quickly as the tea tree oil.The only issue I have is with the bottle; it comes with a snap cap, like with most body washes: you push down one side and the other snaps up with the dispenser. That works best with thicker substances. But with the oil, it pours out fine but it gets all over the cap, and gets in the cracks. I've just taken to twisting it off and pouring it onto a cotton ball, or dipping in a Q-Tip. It's nothing drastic, but I would've liked it if I could just squeeze some out and snap it shut without having to clean it each time. I'll live, though! xD 4This works great as a whole body moisturizerThis works great as a whole body moisturizer! Use for hair, skin, nails, and face. So much easier to have one product that works excellent, is inexpensive, and takes up very little space in my crowded bathroom. Should note that there is an oily residue left on skin after using this product as not all is immediately absorbed. Does smell nice. Does NOT cause my skin to react (I have mild roseacea and occasional acne and many products cause irritation). Will order more when I need. One bottle lasts a long time. 5Love this oil for face and hairI've been using this oil on my face and hair for about a month now and absolutely love it! Like other reviews stated, a little goes a long way. I use a drop or two for my face (which tends to be on the dry side in the winter) and a drop on my hair, which is about 4" past my shoulders. It leaves my hair shiny and healthy feeling. I've used silicone smoothing products in the past but don't care for the fragrance or the synthetic feel. If you want a natural replacement to the silicone serums, this is a great choice. My only complaint and reason for giving only 4 stars is the lid. It doesn't dispense very well and ends up building up on the lid and running down the sides of the bottle, which makes a greasy mess and I have to clean grease rings off of my bathroom counter everyday. I make my own oil cleanser for my face and store it in an old plastic saline solution bottle (the kind for your nose) and that works great, so I think I'm going to try transferring this oil to a similar bottle. 4Rich and nourishingWhen it comes to oils, whether they be for eating or for health purposes, NOW Foods is the brand I have come to trust. Their Jojoba oil is wonderful, and the 4 ounce size is perfect for the rate I use it at. I use it primarily for skin and hair care, and it is a richly nourishing oil with barely any smell, which makes it an excellent pairing with essential oils. I would highly recommend this oil, and especially this brand, for anyone with dry skin or hair. 5Great carrier oil.Jojoba oil is my favorite carrier oil since it's nice and light and doesn t leave me feeling super greasy. I like to make a muscle rub oil for when I m feeling achey and stiff and this is what I use with arnica oil and essential oils. I can put the muscle rub oil on and after a few minutes it s nice and absorbed and I don t feel super greasy. I also like the price point on the NOW brand, although I m sure an argument could be made for the higher priced carrier oils, this one works just fine for me. 5Used it for almost 3 months and broke out terribly!!STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS IF YOU HAVE ACNE-PRONE SKIN... Please, I warn you. I was just like you, reading all these wonderful reviews/blogs/Youtube videos raving about how oil-cleansing method, specifically using Jojoba oil, cleared their skin and brightened their complexion. I had mild acne here and there, and when I started using this the first couple of days, I loved it. My complexion was improved, and my skin seemed very moisturized. It all went downhill from there. I desperately wanted to believe that it was the "purging" stage everyone was talking about. I broke out terribly in painful cystic acne all around my face and neck leaving a very small area close to my eyes and nose unaffected. I kept distracting myself and telling myself that this was everything coming to the surface and this will all pass..3 months had gone by and I continued to get more and more cystic acne. during that time, I had somewhat better days which made me believe that the painful stage was over, and that's what made me keep on using this.. I was wrong... It never ever got better and I just could not continue on. People were making comments on my skin and asking what happened.It's been almost 4 months since I quit using this, and my face has healed mostly (about 70% clear) but still battling with acne. On top of having acne, I have to deal with hyper pigmentation now. No, I did not apply too much. I only applied just enough to "moisturize" aka. clog up my pores, and I would always get it all off in the shower using warm to hot water. I know everybody's skin reacts differently to different products, but please listen when I tell you, it's NOT worth the risk to test this one out..!! If you have even slight mild acne or acne-prone skin, please please please stay away from this oil!! (or any other oils in that matter) 1PERFECT FOR EXTREMELY OILY SKIN!OK GUYS, i dont know where to start.My skin is so oily that you could probably fry food on my face. Closest example I could come up with, sorry. lolI've been using this for about a week so far.I'm 21 years old with OMG EXTREMELY OILY FACE! AHHHHH! YOU HAVE NO CLUE.My face is so oily it seeps into my eyes and makes them sting and start watering and...... omg.Anyway, I use this after I get out of the shower, so my skin is still damp and my pores are open.YOU DO NOT NEED A WHOLE LOT FOR IT TO WORK!........ don't make me repeat myself..... lol(By the way, the cap sucks) so all I do is tip the bottle upside down to get some inside the cap, then stick my damp clean fingers inside the cap and get all the oil and rub onto my DAMP face.....and then do ONE more tipping thing and repeat. THEN I'M DONE. No more, no less. Whatever I have left over on my fingers, i just rub all over my hands.WARNING: This product might not work right away. It's best to give your skin some time to get used to it.And you might see some acne pop up for the first couple weeks, THIS IS NORMAL! It happened to me, it WILL stop, just let your skin get used to it. The oil is actually pushing the bad stuff OUT of your pores.
