Great!Dr. Axe recommends these for healing your gut. I won't go into specifics but my gastrointestinal distress is greatly reduced by taking one of these a day on an empty stomach. Huge difference!!!! 5Cured a SERIOUS alcohol and Adderall addictionI do not typically leave reviews, but I have to for this supplement. It is phenomenal. First, let me start with my issues and the reason I decided to start taking this. I am addicted to both Adderall and alcohol. DAILY, for years, I was taking about 120-130mg of Adderall a day (yes, insane, tolerance builds) and also DAILY drinking a pint of vodka a night. I knew I had to stop but repeatedly failed each time I tried (I never lasted long). I decided instead of trying to stop both Adderall and alcohol at the same time, that maybe I should just start with quitting alcohol first. Trying to do both was way too overwhelming. So I went 2 days without drinking. I was in complete misery. I couldn t sleep one night and I was frantically searching the internet for something that could relieve me of the terrible cravings. I stumbled onto some articles about L-Glutamine and how it can help with alcohol cravings and, bonus, it could also help with the sugar cravings because I was beginning to have some intense sugar cravings from not drinking. The primary reason my drinking got so out of hand was because my brain was constantly tormented with Adderall cravings. Never-ending and it drove me crazy and I absolutely hated it. I realized I was drinking like that simply to escape the horrible cravings for Adderall. Sad but true. So, long story short, the first night I took this, it was like I had a completely new, different, NORMAL feeling brain. I haven t had the exact same sensation again as I did the first night I took it (it s still working, but that first time must of REALLY been needed by my brain). The first night I literally felt like I could feel this supplement overcoming my serious Adderall cravings in my brain. Washing over them. It was the most bizarre, incredible, and happiest sensation I have ever experienced in my life. I thought it must of been a fluke, but it s not. L-Glutamine is still helping me. Not only did it help me stop drinking, but even more importantly for me, it stopped those awful Adderall cravings that consumed me for SO long. I was not expecting it to help with the Adderall cravings. I am over the moon. This saved my life. 5Best thing for leaky gut!I have IBS and all the fun times that come with it. I used to wake up nauseated and with awful cramping stomach pains until I went to the bathroom. I read somewhere on the internet that L-Glutamine helps repair the stomach lining and thus makes the pain go away. I tried it a while back, and within a week, the nausea and pains were gone.Full disclosure: I am no longer being treated for my IBS due to the expense, so using L-Glutamine was a form of self-medicating. The only thing to note is that once I finished the first bottle, I figured I was done and wouldn't need to keep taking it. About two weeks later, however, the nausea and stomach pains started back up. I promptly ordered more and resumed, and the leaky gut symptoms went away again. So L-Glutamine does work--and fabulously--but it requires long-term treatment.I posted this same review for another brand of L-Glutamine as well and decided to re-post it here in case it could help someone. I am currently using NOW brand L-Glutamine and have experienced the same success so it is still applicable (I only switch brands for price/availability reasons). 5turned my depression aroundi started having energy and some hope when i had taken this for a couple of days. because it has helped so much with my depression, my shrink allowed me to go down on my psych meds. my understanding is that there are three brain chemicals involved in depression1) seratonin2) dopamine3) glutaminethis works much better for me than an antidepressant. i am sincerely amazed and so grateful for this product. it's dirt cheap, so you may as well give it a try. i take two a day on an empty stomach. 5STOP READ FIRST! Dangerous side effects.I literally thought I was about to die an hour after taking one of these. I had the most painful cramps that felt like I had a G.S.W. (Gun Shot Wound). This caused so much pain I passed out when I hit my max pain tolerance! IT EVEN STATES THAT 25% OF PEOPLE HAVE BAD SIDE EFFECTS! You have been warned!
