50% less bathroom tripsI have been suffering from OAB for several years & just finally decided to do something about it a year ago. I started with Myrbetriq (50% less bathroom trips in one month), then Vesicare (slightly less impressive results). I started getting severe headaches from the Mybetriq - which continued (although were less) on the Vesicare. So I decided to get rid of both & try pumpkin seed oil. I have been getting the same results (50% less bathroom trips with the pumpkin seed oil after one month) as I did with both prescription meds. Absolutely no side effects. I still get occasional headaches (very infrequently) so it's hard to say the origin of those. My mouth was also always dry on the meds - not with this oil. I have also had issues with my hair falling out & have noticed since taking this oil (2+ months now) that my hair is not falling out nearly as bad as it was months ago. It's a dramatic difference in the amount of hair I find in the shower drain strainer now. I'm assuming it is from this oil - as nothing else about my routine has changed. But hard to say for sure. 4Hoping For The Best But Not Betting The FarmI was told that pumpkin seed oil would be helpful with my aging and over-active bladder. However the study I read said that you'd have to take at least 10,000 mgs per day -- in this case 10 soft-gels. Since I never dive into water that I can't see through, I decided to wade into this slowly by taking 2,000 mgs per day instead and adding more as I determined that there are no side effects to me.So far so good so I'm punching it up another notch. No mental or physical side effects (at least that I noticed) so I will continue to increase the dosage hoping for eventual relief. I have cut down on one trip to the bathroom each night but would like to see more progress. Cutting out milk and other dairy products has been beneficial as well as ending my addiction to Diet Coke. Here's hoping that this pumpkin seed oil will do the trick. 4A better and less expensive alternative to AZOI was taking AZO Go-Less with pumpkin seed extract for occasional urge problems, and it works, but it's kinda pricey. So I went looking for a less expensive equivalent and found this product. For me it works even better than AZO. For about 6 weeks I've been taking one in the morning, one at bedtime. I don't have to deal with the anxiety of always scouting around for a restroom, or wearing a pad, "just in case."I went right from taking AZO straight into taking this product, so there was no waiting period to see if it would work. I already knew pumpkin seed works for me. If you're just starting it, you might want to take two in the morning, two at night, for about a month before decreasing to one, twice a day. It takes some time before you start to notice a difference, so don't give up too soon. I know it's tough to wait, but hang in there and give it a fair trial. A few days or a week isn't long enough.So far I have had no discernable side effects. Since I can't take prescription meds for this problem, I'm grateful to have found this product. 5Fantastic!A few years ago I had several surgeries. Since that time, I have awakened every 2 hours to urinate. So exhausting! I have been taking Now Foods Pumpkin Seed Oil twice a day for under a week and I slept 5 hours straight last night. Also, the need to "go" wasn't even the reason I got up. I am so grateful for this product. I don't need it to help with my hair, but I am also interested in seeing what effect it has in that area. I have been incontinent for over 30 years and have gone through all my urologist had available. I find with the pumpkin seed oil caps (2 with breakfast and 1 with supper) my incontinence is better controlled. I have trouble swallowing large pills. They are a large cap but being a gel cap and long, but not wide they go down easily. As a good side line it has taken away my dry skin and the need for cream after every shower. My hair is much healthier also. So, yes, I will continue with these caps! And , Yes Amazon has a much better price than my local Health Store! 5These are a giant help.These actually work. I've had a small, excitable bladder my whole life. A few years ago I injured my spine in a way that pinches and compresses nerves going to my bladder and lower half, making control a joke. My bladder is still demanding in wanting to go RIGHT NOW but since starting these I've found I'm able to hold it a bit longer to actually make it to the bathroom. 5Better than the well-known national health store brand.A great improvement from going to the bathroom three to five times a night. Now only go once. I have an early bedtime of 8 to 9 pm, so usually have to get up to the bathroom between 4 to 5 am.If I stay up later, I can sometimes sleep through the night, with a 6 to 7 am wake-up. NOW pumpkin seed oil has been a great addition to my life and lifestyle. I am a 71 year old female, and these have also greatly improved my incontinence problem. 5
