Provides strength to SI joint invisibly!!I have had my belt a week now. I am thankful to have it. It is comfortable under clothing and it is not noticeable at all. It supports my painful left sacroiliac joint from arthritis. I have been suffering with a year long flare up and have had issues for 12 years, with no real help (I am 53). It helps me to sleep in it, because at night, I tend to have a lot of spasms. It also makes changing positions while sleeping easier to do, that is always rather difficult for me. While the belt is no miracle cure, it provides some support and stability to the weakened area. If put on correctly it doesn't slip or need adjusting throughout the day, or impinge when I sit like some have said. You will find where it feels right to wear it. Continue with yoga streches, pain meds...keep up your whole regimen and add this belt to your poor sacroiliac joint. I do not have sciatica, so I do not know if it helps that. Good luck! (It gives me muffin top, but that's my problem!) 5Nothing short of a miracle!!I have been in pain for year and a half until the day I put this belt on three days ago! I have been able to do things I couldn t do without pain such as stooping down, standing for long periods of time, walking, sitting all without pain!! Of course this is a miracle in itself, since I have been to my back doctor several times this year, been placed on 15 weeks of physical therapy, both pool and bench. I ve tried dry needling, too, all to no avail. I go back to my back doctor in 4 Days. I can only imagine what his comments will be about this belt!! Thousands of dollars spent on no solution that worked as quickly as this belt to eliminate my pain and allow me to do my daily functions I couldn t do before without stopping to lay down to make the pain subside! I love it!! 5Good for SI joint dysfunctionI bought this for SI joint dysfunction. It makes a difference and I'm glad I have it. It's my first SI belt so I can't compare it to other brands. It's comfortable but I do not forget I'm wearing it, unlike other reviewers. I really don't see how you could, as it's supposed to be comfortably firm around your hips. Maybe I'm too touch-sensitive. I tried sleeping with it a couple of times but it was way too present, plus when I shifted positions it moved up to my waist, so I gave that up. That said, on bad days this belt helps, and on days on which I can tell it's going to get bad, I put this on and it stops before things can go downhill. It does make me look like I gained about 15 pounds which is not awesome, but then again it lets me walk so I guess I'll take that hit to my vanity. I ordered the S/M and it fits fine, I'm 5'6" and 125 lb. 475% relief from tail bone pain when sittingI purchased this due to pain I was having while sitting. The pain was not related to any known injury. I had tail bone pain when sitting and medical tests were negative for coccygeal fracture. As a Physical Therapist I am familiar with sacro iliac joint problems and although I had no known SI problem, I was desperate to try anything. This belt (in addition to 2 exercises I do faithfully) has reduced my pain by 75%. I can now sit with little pain and sometimes even pain free. When using a SI belt, there are many considerations and some people may not feel comfortable knowing how to position it. There are medical practitioners, ie. PT's, that can provide that information if you have difficulty. I went from pain that had made sitting almost unbearable and was affecting me all day to minor pain that is only an inconvenience and I am hopeful that in time will be completely gone. Hope this belt helps you too. 5Super comfortable, works. Comparing to Serola!Only had the belt two days. It is wonderfully comfortable. I forget I have it on. I am neither overweight nor underweight. Seems well made. I do think it is helping but I try so many things at once, sometimes hard to tell what is causing improvement. I do lots of SI joint strengthening exercises. One thing I don't like is how the Velcro attaches. Should have some user friendly flap easy to grab onto. Hard to grab hold of and pull off.Update. After buying another belt more highly recommended, I have upgraded this rating from 4 to 5.This belt is so comfortable. Serola belt which I also purchased is quite wide and not so comfortable. It also has extra straps on side which makes belt more bulky.I rated that belt a 4. They both help a lot. Especially if you are a smaller person, I would recommend Si-Loc 5Saved my back during pregnancyI have had so much trouble with my back throughout my second pregnancy. I've seen a chiropractor multiple times (big waste of money) and a physical therapist. My PT recommended this and I was desperate and gave it a try. I was to the point that I wasn't going to be able to take care of my twin toddlers and this saved me! I'm very diligent about wearing it and I loosen it often as I'm up and down all day so the Velcro doesn't stick as well as it did but still this product was so worth it. My back pain went from excruciating sharp pains to very mild and I'm sure it's because of this band. 5Comfortable, functional, amazing.I have SI joint dysfunction, and wearing this every day has kept from my nerve pain from progressing. It's lightweight, easy to hide under clothing (even skinny jeans and bodycon skirts!), and easily washed. It only takes 4 hours to dry out, which is helpful, since I need to wear this baby every day for the next year, thereabouts, according to my physical therapist.I own several other SI belts (including the serola), and even though this has the rubber grip on the inside (literally like the rug underlays you could buy at Home Depot) this one irritates my skin the least and is the easiest to put on. 5Bad marks from a physical therapistMost SI joint belts offer elastic compression and this one does not. This is not stated in its description. Furthermore, this item is not eligible for return according to Amazon's return policy. I'm a physical therapist and very disappointed in this product and the fact the seller will not allow returns. Especially since it is one of the more expensive options, it should allow for a return. Basically this is unusable. 1AWESOME! LOVE THIS!Used this before I had SI Joint Fusion Surgery. This was the only thing that helped to give me some sort of stabilization just so I could stand. Had a Warm Water Physical Therapist suggest trying this. Had many other therapists, Massage, other PTs, Chiropractors, Acupuncturists - NONE of them even mentioned this or trying to use it. I am so indebted to the Warm Water PT, I would have jumped off a bridge (ok.. Maybe not really) because of all of the instability and pain I had been living with pre-surgery. This truly has been a life and sanity saver.Had been in a crash that caused severe damage to both SI Joints. The other side is now in need of SI Joint Fusion Surgery, This is a bandage to help me get on with life until I can have the next SI Joint Fusion Surgery.This is not just for pregnant ladies! My Chiro said that she never thought to suggest this, since she only knew of its use for pregnancies and giving expecting moms some extra support with their lower backs and SI Joints. 5Can't return even within 30 day return.Just received this item and probably works for most but my wife worked with her PT and does not work for her. We want to return but Amazon said can't return. Normally you get 30 days. THIS IS NOT GOOD. 1
