Love the bottle!I use coconut oil for all kinds of stuff and I just bought this for the first time and so far I love it. I mix it in my dog's food and usually have to microwave it first but this one comes in a squeeze bottle so it was easy to just squirt a little bit on their food and mix it up. Then I squeezed some to put in my hair. It makes it easier and a lot less messy to use. Price is good too. Definitely will buy again.5Coconut JELLY - not coconut OILThe packaging of this product is quite nice, but the satisfaction ends when it's time to use the contents. The coconut "oil" has somehow solidified into a jelly that is too dense to make it out the spout. Might be ok for lubing the ball joints on my car...It was stored at about 70degF, so that's not the problem. It's too much trouble to heat the bottle every time we need coconut oil, so we switched to another brand (which has no problems at all).1Love it! I love this. Very economical. Using my Prime account, it's shipped free. I love the coconut smell and taste. I use this in tea, coffee, baking, frying, etc. I made triple chocolate brownies and used it instead of vegetable oil and they were fabulous. I make the best popcorn using white popcorn, coconut oil, salt, and a couple of pinches of sugar. I love the health benefits of using coconut oil. I also make a body scrub using it and sugar and essence of orange. I wash my face in it and people always ask if it causes breakouts. No, it doesn't. The sugar exfoliates my skin and the coconut oil leaves it silky smooth. I shave my legs with it. I'm going to make body scrub gifts for Christmas. This stuff is awesome. 5Disappointed...not buying in futureI didnt realize when I bought this that it was solid. I guess the pouring spout got me jumping to conclusions about Its liquid state.Now after melting it, pain in the butt mind you, i thought that it would maybe blend with the other oils and stay liquid. Again I shouldn't jump to conclusions. It returned to solid in the other oils. This made me re-order a better coconut oil and reblend my project.Not a good oil for beauty blends.2Real Unrefined coconut Oil the smell is what captivate me, its strong and very coconuty, if i can say so. My kinky short Hair loved it at first...Since I like using natural products: I mixed a little in a jar with some whipped butter to create a makeup oil remover, it works like a charm and i follow with micellar water. I also cooked with it. I made a cauliflower curry and I cant wait for making cookies and much more. Must have in the Kitchen! 5My hair back to its Glory Days!I was desperate to know what Indian women do to their hair because they are thick and healthy... on the other hand, mine was limp and falling a lot. I asked my daughter's friend's mom what she uses to maintain her long black curly hair. She told me about Parachute. I was going to drive to one of the Indian stores about 30 minutes away (when I get a chance.. which could be as long as next month), and luckily I checked with Amazon first and so I got mine in 2 days! I only have used it twice, but the first use, I would say my hair was as soft as can be! My limp hair started getting its life back! I hope I had taken a before photo of how bad my hair was. I used to use another brand from regular stores, but I learned that this particular coconut oil is more particular for hair use, although you could also use itt for cooking. The one that I used before said the same thing, but it damaged my hair using it the first time, so it went straight to the trash. If you need to fix hair problem, getting it back to its glory days, this is the answer!5Good stuff! I love Parachute oil! My friend, who is from Pakistan, swears by this! Indian hair care is extremely effective - and if they use it, you sure as heck I will!! I tried other coconut oils and they really didn't do anything for my hair like Parachute has.I've been using it for over a year now and I can tell my hair is stronger and as grown longer. When using this, remember not to leave it on the scalp for too long as any oil will clog pores. I usually leave it on my ends for days, and when i decide to wash my hair, put it on my roots. 5AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING........READ I simply love it. It's light weight, no build up, need only a little, and adds ultimate shine no frizz simply beautiful. Also use as a protectant before swimming and no chlorine damage or color damage from dye I use. This is simply amazing oil I'd give it 10 stars if I could. My hair is growing amazingly long 2 inches in a month. I am African American and have a very good grade of hair middle of my back & was at a stand still before using this. I'm thankful for this product it is a staple for me and my kids. Also other uses my skin, and nails. My nail mixture is this with garlic oil for brittle and weak nails I mix & rub then rinse 3x's a week great results. Also use to pop popcorn it tastes great. I love this oil its the best. This is an honest review my family uses this now as well. THANKS PARACHUTE FOR AMAZING PRODUCT. 5No noI wouldn't recommend this Coconut oil in my opinion. The price is what gets you so I ordered two 31 oz. jugs. They were shipped right away and I got them Amazon Prime fast. The set back is that the lids are not put on tight at all and one of the containers had burst the seal in transit and had leaked all over the package inside and was clearly visible on the outside, bummer. I opened the other container and it smelled unpleasant to me. The labeling describes this as 'Toasted Coconut' aroma or words to that effect, but no. I would call it malodorous. It does not taste good to me either, not at all like other coconut oil MCT products. So while one container had a broken seal, a potential tampering concern and the unpleasant taste and aroma I would not recommend this particular product to others for cooking or consumption. On a final note, you should know that this oil will solidify or congeal at temperatures under 75 degrees. You won't be able to pour it out of the jug unless you warm it under hot water or something. I personally don't mind that because honey does that sometimes, however you may wish to make a note of that also.1NOT LIQUIDI always purchase a liquid coconut oil and use a small amout to mix into boiled chicken for my Chihuahua, Cesar. He doesn t always eat right away, which is why I get the liquid. If I use a solid, warming it up to make it liquid, it will become solid as his chicken cools down, then he will not eat and leads to a whole evening of getting his picky ways about eating to normalize. This bottle is listed on Amazon with most of the other liquid coconut oils and the opening would kind of give it away. No way could you get a solid form out easily. As pictured, I had to use a long knife to get any out. This was not cheap and I cannot use it.1Ok for the priceThe bottle has a very tiny opening to squeeze the oil from, and the cap does not come off. This makes it very difficult to get the oil out until thawing in warm water as it advises on the bottle. I just let warm water run over the bottle from the faucet for a few minutes and that worked. Once thawed, the oil seemed clean and clear but it didn t have the fresh coconut smell that I am use to from other brands. It wasn t a horrible smell, but it wasn t nice either. I bought this oil to use on hair and skin so I wish it would have had a fresher smell. Otherwise it was ok, I received the quantity I was expecting and the expiration date is good.3Spoiled Product Of the 31oz of product only approximately 6oz of product was suitable for use. The remaining 25oz sits hardened and is being discarded. It is wondered if the product which was used might have caused more harm than good. Since the refund window closed well before it was even possible to know this outcome, we are stuck with unusable and nonreturnable product! 1Love this product for everything from cooking to pet care. Everyone has their preferences for coconut oil, for me this company produces an excellent and yummy oil. I love the taste and the scent, as does my hubby. I've tried other brands and so far, this one pleases my palate the most, not to mention easy on my budget. Love, love, LOVE this product.As the many reviews has stated coconut oil has multi-uses. I prefer going natural/holistic for everything and coconut oil is part of my daily health and beauty regimine, as well as for my four-legged companions.Amazon has several books on the many uses and natural health benefits of this wonderful oil. I highly recommend looking into its benefits. I put a teaspoon in my coffee daily, a yummy way to start my day; add to pet food for its anti-microbial and skin and hair benefits (for me too); natural sunscreen; and the list goes on.I trust the opinion of those whom have empirical experiences and wisdom about this oil. The Asian's and Polynesian's have been using coconuts for beauty, health and healing for centuries, their wisdom is certainly working for me and my friends. 5Swiss Army Knife of Coconut OilsParachute coconut oil is amazing and extremely versatile. I surf every day and the salt water reeks havoc on my hair and scalp. I had given up and just resolved to the fact that my hair would look like a straw broom and my scalp would flake constantly. Then a read a review on Amazon and thought I would give this product a try. Within the first application, my hair returned to its natural lustrous condition and my scalp completely stopped itching and the flakes disappeared.So I thought what the heck lets see what else it can do; I cooked with it and discovered that it is a much better oil than canola or vegetable oil, my dogs skin was dried out, as well as the pads on his paws were irritated so I rubbed a little of the coconut oil on the affected parts and viola, it healed within two days, and I didn t worry that he was licking it as it is food grade. I even put it on my bike chain as I had run out of lubricant and it worked great. Like I said, it is the Swiss Army knife of coconut oils.5Solid, in a bottle intended for liquid- useless!I purchased this to use on my hair. It sat in my bathroom for almost two months, until I used up the last of my old brand of coconut oil . When I went to use this, it was SOLID! It comes in a squeeze bottle, with a tiny hole to pour the product out (like all liquid coconut oils I ve purchased), but with a lid that is non removable. It wouldn t do any good if you could remove the lid anyway, as it s a small opening, since the bottle is intended for use with what should be a liquid. Sadly, my window to return this has closed. I will try heating the bottle to see if I can melt it each time I need to use it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT! USELESS!!!1Does not stay liquid, even at room temperatureI bought this as I wanted a liquid coconut oil. It was great in the late summer, but once the weather started turning cold, this oil solidified. There is small print on the bottle, that is NOT in the description, that says you need to keep at a certain temperature, which is not what most people would keep their homes at. I have used solid coconut oil from a jar for smoothies, but it's so much easier to get it to blend when it's liquid. I'm past the date to return it, so I have to keep it. Our microwave isn't tall enough to accommodate this bottle, so I have to put it on a floor vent to melt it in order to use it. I will have to get it melted then pour it into another container. I would not recommend this product for that feature alone. Other than that, the oil itself is OK, once you get it out of the bottle.1
