Tastes like the originalI've loved these candies since I was a youngster when they were a penny each. I had to give them up when my Dr. said lay off the sugar. I can eat a couple of these without spiking my blood sugar. I wish more of the candy manufacturers would use Splenda to make sugar free versions of the classics. There's a pretty limited selection right now.5A blast from the pastPeanut Butter Logs woke up taste buds which have not been used in a long time bringing back a lot of memories with every bite.5Was it actually a pound? I'm not sureIt was very well packaged in sturdy plastic, but the wrappers of the candy had a smell of plastic from the bag so take that as you will. The peanut bars were all intact, none were broken which is kind of surprising to be honest. I am not sure it quite feels like a pound though, but I don't have a scale to actually see if it is or not so I can't justify taking off a star based on my "feeling" of it being a pound or not. The quality and taste is great.I bought mine at right around $5.98/pound which is not bad, I have in the past bought from another supplier here on Amazon (with prime) the 3 pound bag for $16~ which is cheaper and actually looks like a mountain of candy. Overall I'm pleased with this order and quality. I noticed the price increased though, that isn't cool, that's a bit expensive at $7.25~/pound5Peanut butter bars still great after 30 yearsFive wonderful pounds of peanut butter goodness. It was a hot at work where many people from 20 year olds to those near retirement couldn't pass by my desk without grabbing at least one. Most were in perfect solid condition, I found a few out of the whole 5lbs that were cracked and or crushed. Although I still consumed most of the bag, I realized after receiving an order from a different seller the difference was what I had suspected and can only guess the old product had been mixed in with new, and fresh, since the latest order contains all fresh candy. Great product and well worth the money,5Buy it from Blue Monster LLCI really don't want to really let the cat out of the bag....However when I first bought these PB bars, the first few bags were really good....When I ordered my 4 th bag, it was terrible...I ordered my 5th bag, that was terrible as well...My next bag I ordered it was really good...I went back to my orders, to see why there was such a difference....The good bags came from Blue Monster LLC, the other bags, came from other sellers....So now when I order it, I make sure to buy it from Blue Monster LLC, and if they don't have it, I won't buy it...5Bad Batch, Not HappyThis batch is the worst batch I have ever received so far. I am disappointed in the quality of the candy. Normally, they are fresh and almost melt in your mouth. This bag of candy tatstes strange and it's chewy and ends up as a ball in your mouth that you have to spit out. Not happy considering how much I spent on it.1
