Pedifix Arch Bandage (Pack of 2) ... PediFixThis product seemed to help my Knee aches. I wore it and it seem to relieve my left knee? I wore it over my socks.In the morning my knee felt great. Awesome. I'm wearing the knee braces. but I never thought of the Arch Bandage. I'll be using both to aid in my knee problem. Awesome Will update in a couple of days on my condition. My arches need the support too. never realized it until now with the product from Amazon. 5Worked for me!!I buy a lot of stuff from Amazon (A LOT) but I rarely do reviews. This little item that only cost a couple dollars has probably been one of the best things I've ever purchased and worthy of a five star review!!! Seriously! I developed a case of plantar fasciitis (arch pain) that I suffered from for four years. I tried different shoes, shoe inserts, orthotics, stretching, PT, and night splints. Nothing worked!! My doctor wanted to give me a cortisone injection, but I refused and was preparing myself for surgery. Then, a family member told me to give these a shot. I wore them for a couple weeks and the pain was GONE!!! I've been using these about 50% of the time for the past six months and I've been pain free for months. I only hope this review convinces someone that's suffering from the same NAGGING pain that I felt for sooooo long to give them a try. You might be as surprised as I was. Good Luck! 5Reviewed by KyBunniesThese are amazing. Only thing I have found to help my arch. I only wear these while at work but they actually work. At least for me. I wear a size 7.5 or 8 in female shoes. As tight as these are I do not think they could go on a much larger foot. These are very tight around the foot. For the first hour or so after putting these on my foot hurts IF I am only sitting around. If I am walking I do not feel any pain. I know strange but hey I like being strange. It is suggested to wear the white piece on the bottom of the foot. I cannot do this. If I do I get blisters. So I wear the white part on top of my foot. I only wash these by hand and let air dry. 5Better then othersI bought this and the Mueller to compare and thought this was better then the Mueller Arch Support, Black, One Size. First off I put on the Mueller and it was a little difficult to figure out how to put it on correct, no instructions and only picture and when I did figure out which way to put it on (I think) I didn't feel like it was doing anything for my foot. I opened the box for the PediFix Arch Band and though How is this going to work its only what looks like a ace bandage with closed ends that has some stretch to it. I had almost instant comfort the only problem I had with it was that after 4 or so hours it started to slide down my foot when I was walking. I had to take my shoe off and fix it but after a couple min it moved down my foot again so I tried it again and put it over my sock and it stayed put better there. The instructions say to put it on your bare foot but I don't know how its suppose to stay there if your walking around alot plus it does stretch out some when your putting pressure on it while walking or running.I would buy again but wish there was some way to tighten it up if it gets stretch out from wearing alot. 4Disappointing. Quality has dropped so much I can no longer recommend these.I have used Pedifix arch bandages in the past, and they worked great, but they do wear out, so I ordered these as a replacement for my old ones. After it took almost a month to receive the order because according to the merchant the order got lost in transit (which can happen), the product I received did not appear to be genuine a Pedifix product. The Pedifix I already had, had the Pedifix name across the white strip of fabric, just as shown in the product image on this page. The product I received had no such branding. The white strip of fabric was blank. I contacted the seller about this (Blue Moon Medical) and they assured me these are genuine products. If so, the quality has fallen off dramatically since the last time I bought these Pedifix arch bandages because my old ones lasted a long time. These are already starting to stretch out and warp after only a few times of wearing. I'd upload a picture, but another reviewer already has, and as you can see in this reviewer's pic, the item stretches out and does not contain any branding on the white strip of fabric. This is just like my experience with these. So, whereas years ago I would have recommended these wholeheartedly, now I must say find a different solution. My left foot is always good to go. My right foot hurts like heck. Arch supports make my feet feel like I'm have rocks in my shoes. Recently while on vacation I ran out of clean socks and only had my graduated compression "airplane" socks to wear. So, I wore them. OMG! What a difference! I had never worn the airplane socks except on a long plane ride, so I had no idea of the difference they could make just walking around. No foot pain! I happily followed my kids through the streets of Germany with no problems. When I got back I did some research on trusty Amazon, and I discovered that compression relieves foot pain for a lot of people. I wish I had known this a long time ago. With summer coming I wanted to try an alternative to knee high wool socks, so based on the reviews, I gave these and a second brand a try. They both work equally well! Arch support, without rocks in my shoes. Bunion is tamed and put into alignment. I can do my two mile daily walk with no problems. I am so glad I found out about these. Give them a try. I am female and wear an 8.5 W shoe. I am also going to write this same review on the other brand because I want to spread the good news. Thank you, Amazon. 5Pedifix Arch Bandage is Great!I have heel pain in my left foot and someone said to try arch support for this type of pain. Regular arch supports that you fit into your shoe don't work well with the smaller style flat shoes that I wear to work. I found these arch bandages online and decided to try them. Not only do they fit in any shoe or boot, by wearing them every day, my heel pain is TOTALLY gone. You could even wear them with a sandal if you needed to because they are tan in color and not really noticeable. I keep an extra one on hand when one goes in the wash. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I can't believe that this little stretchy band has totally eliminated my heel pain which used to be so bad, I could hardly put pressure on my foot at times, even when getting out of bed in the morning. I can't say enough about the Pedifix Arch Bandage. You have to try it to believe it.Update two months later. Still wearing the arch bandage every day to work and the pain in my left heel is still totally gone. They wash and dry well. I have a narrow foot so if the band stretches out from washing, I will order a new one. Can't say enough about this product. 5... Faciaitis you know there is no magical fix and like me have tried them allIf you've had Plantar Faciaitis you know there is no magical fix and like me have tried them all. I'm on my second round of it and wearing this, slid towards the back of the arch closest to the heel, with a single wrap of athletic tape toward the back seems to help. It supports the Plantar Facia to stretch it and supports it to reduce the swelling. I combine this with the AirPlus PF Arch Insoles I bought at Walmart and over time it seems to help. Not promising it will work for everyone, but it seems to provide some relief for me. Good luck. 4BEST ARCH SUPPORT!!!I bought a pair of these many years ago in a store and somehow lost them. I'm currently pregnant and my arches are suffering from the relaxin hormone running through my body. I went to the store in hopes of finding another pair of these and unfortunately I was unable to find anything like it. I only found arch supports that go inside your shoe and not actually on your foot. I bought two different pair, but they didn't provide as much support as these and were more expensive. I finally got online and ordered these off the internet. They are GREAT at supporting my arches. I think I will buy another pair as backup--just in case I lose my current pair. 5Inconsistent ProductMy take-away is that the maker isn't consistent in the product quality and I won't order from this particular supplier again because of their lack of customer service. See explanation below:I have ordered these in the past and received two that are very comfortable. So, after about 6 months of having them, I decided to order two more (they come one per package so you get two separately packaged products in this pack of 2). Well, these two are very different from the first two in terms of fabric and stitching and not comfortable at all. This product is an elastic type product that you wear on your feet to support your arch. The first two I received were very silky feeling in terms of the elastic as well as the fabric and stitching used to cover the seam. These two are not soft so they cut into my feet, making them unwearable. Even the fabric and thread of the stitching is rough to the touch. Overall, these two are horrible and had they been the first two I received, I never would have ordered this product again.In addition to the bad product, my experience with the supplier is also not favorable. I'll first say that it's my bad for not trying to send them back before the 'non-return' date. Time got away from me and I didn't realize until two weeks too late that I missed the return deadline. I decided to contact the seller to tell them about the product and ask if they would exchange them because they are unwearable. They definitely did not offer to exchange them. It's my bad for not trying to do it sooner so I can't fault them for that. What I do fault them for is that I asked if they would put me in touch with the maker so I could discuss my concerns and lack of consistency in the product since I felt I could discuss the differences better than they could. They said they would get in touch with the supplier and get back to me. It's been well over a week and I haven't heard from them. In my opinion, that's just poor customer service! Even if they haven't heard from the maker, they should keep in touch with me and let me know about their progress or lack thereof. I also like to think that they would have it in their power to exchange the product even after the deadline (especially because it appears to be a faulty product), but they didn't offer to do that. And if you are considering purchasing this product, then you are probably aware that this product is a therapeutic product not just something you wear for joy and because it's stylish (it is not!). 1
