Wonderful product that exceeded my expectations!I have never drank decaf coffee so I must admit that I was skeptical about the taste. But lately caffeine and I have not been on good terms as of late so I decided to try Peet s dark roast- and I was so pleasantly surprised-the taste was rich and robust and delicious! And there was only pure coffee flavor no bitterness or after taste 5A bit expensive but worth it!I can't find this product anywhere but here. I tried one and I'm hooked. Very smooth, bold yet flavorful!!! I keep coming back for more and more boxes! Now my hubby is stealing my k-cups! Grrrrrrr.5A PlusI LOVE the Peet's Colombia Luminosa for it's light, flavorful blend as a breakfast coffee for first cup in the morning. I've tried Starbuck's, Donut House, and some others. Peet's is always the standout best coffee. Highly recommend this or the light roast Costa Rica blend they have.5Very Good Dark RoastThis is among the very best coffees that I have ever had the pleasure to drink - not bitter, full and rich flavor (body), and very satisfying. It is also easily the most expensive that has passed my lips. While I do beleve that it is worth it's price, my retirement income is not sufficient to continue using this coffee. I will miss it greatly. If you have no cost problems, and if you like a great cup of coffee - this is it.5Not RecomendedMost of the readily available decaffeinated K-cups are light roasts and I was looking for a substitute for the very good San Francisco Bay dark roast which, because of its compostable packaging, quickly becomes stale. There's a lot of bad coffee out there so I bought the smallest quantity I could find of this Peet's dark roast decaf as a trial. I won't be buying any more.The first thing I noticed was the absence of a fresh coffee aroma as it brewed. Even McDonald's version smells like coffee. Next was the absence of any remarkable coffee taste - it was just slightly bitter hot liquid with a mild chemical aftertaste. There's no remark on the carton about the method of caffeine removal. Poor quality beans? Non-natural solvents? It really didn't matter - it wasn't good and the remaining cartridges were trashed.Not Recommended.1A good coffee for light roast loversI'm super picky when it comes to my coffee. I prefer light roast because of the extra caffeine and because I drink my coffee black. A lot of light roasts can be pretty floral in taste sometimes or just altogether too weak (looking at your Starbucks!) Peets Coffee Colombia Luminosa has become my go to light roast kcup because it tastes like a light roast coffee should. But let's be honest, we're not roasting our own beans and we're using a Keurig for convenience. The coffee isn't going to be coffee shop quality, but it'll be perfectly serviceable for your busy mornings and ranked against the others out there, it's a great cup of joe.5I like this betterFor a decade at least, I have been a fan of La Colombe's Corsica blend. I tried this several months back. I like this better. This is the smoothest, most delicious cup of coffee I have tasted, and for the better part of 30 years, I have been a prolific coffee drinker. ;-)5A Finely Balanced Dark RoastPeet's coffee is one of my favorites, and I was glad to get my K-cups of House Blend. I tend to like dark roast coffees, and this does not disappoint. It is very smooth and well balanced, but I did detect a hint of bitterness at the finish, something Peet's attempts to avoid. While this is not my favorite coffee on the market (currently Death Wish), it is very good overall and is definitely in the morning rotation. I appreciate the subtleties of flavor intrinsic to Peet's House Blend, and recommend it.4Pods exploded!Love Peet's coffee but my local grocery store stopped carrying all but the dark roast so I ordered it here. Well, all but 3 pods exploded in my Keurig! Ruined my cup of coffee AND left quite a mess for me to clean! Something I don't have time for as I am trying to get out the door to work!1Dark and strong coffeeFound this in a warehouse deal so I decided to take a chance for my coffee picky husband. He is a dark roast French press or keurig brewed every day. He has never been a fan of k cups bc even on STRONG it isn't enough. I've had to order more within the first week bc he loved how strong and smooth it was (he drinks 10 oz, strong and no sugar)5
