My new favorite prenatal, I actually feel a difference.I'm in love with everything about this pre-natal but the taste. But, I just plug my nose and swallow it quickly. I imagine part of the taste issue is my current food aversions. Since I started taking it I have had great energy, barely any cravings, and feel really healthy. So I definitely believe it is absorbing better than previous supplements I have taken. It has been very easy on my stomach and even with my morning sickness I know that I am keeping the vitamins in my system. No strange urine smells or colors either, so I know it's being absorbed. The nutritional values in this are great, and the fact it is vegetarian safe is a huge win for me. I will be sticking with this prenatal the rest of this pregnancy and would highly recommend it. 4Pink Stork is my savior!I have suffered from hyperemesis through 4 pregnancies. In and out of emergency rooms. Days on end with my head hanging over the toilet. Medications took the edge off but still spent my morning throwing up. I couldn't even hold down a drink of water. I put off having kids for years between pregnancy because of my extreme morning sickness. Over the last 6-8 months I have been researching online to get more educated on this condition. I came across this product and thought....what can I lose. So I started taking the multivitamin and folic acid in February. In May I found out I was expecting. Oh gosh...panic...wait for the day I wake up and just can't stop throwing up. I was so happy and worried. So here I am 9 weeks and have thrown up 2 times. Which I found out is from tomatoes. I can't touch them. I have nausea and have to keep a balanced diet. I take my vitamin at night and my pro in the morning. I add a tsp of ACV stevia and lemon in my water with ice. And I dont have a tummy full of water making me more nauseous. I have never felt this good at 9 weeks. I am so excited!! Thank you for making this possible. 5Wish I had found this sooner!I'm so glad I found this product! I already had prenatal vitamins that I was working on during my pregnancy, so I started taking this postpartum. During my pregnancy, I hated taking pills and wish I had found this sooner! This would have made taking prenatals a piece of cake! Since it is liquid, I was a bit worried about the taste. However, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It does have that vitamin taste, but it is completely bearable, and since it needs to be refrigerated, the coolness may help with the taste. I take a spoonful after breakfast every morning and follow with some water afterwards to get the vitamin taste out. For a person who is horrible at taking pills (like me), this product is a God-send! The only con I can think of is that almost always after I pour out a spoon, a few drops of the vitamin will trickle down the side of the bottle. I'm not sure if this is something that can be changed, but an improvement in the design of the bottle to prevent wasting the product would be great! 4Fantastic product!I love this product. I'm happy to have found a prenatal vitamin that is worth the money. It does taste like a flintsone vitamin that most of us took as kids, but it's not bad. Totally worth it for the benefits you receive. I'm carrying twins, and they are very healthy and growing extremely well, I have been taking this since before finding out it was twins. My doctors were very impressed with it. 5Overall very good productFirst the good:I ve seen a lot of liquid vitamin products but I m not aware of other liquid general prenatals with organic ingredients, so the uniqueness of that is what sold me. Liquid vitamins are better than pills because your body isn t digesting all these gel caps that are difficult for many people to digest and the vitamins are absorbed better. I also kind of hate swallowing pills, which makes the liquid method a plus for me.Folate is better than folic acid so I m pleased that that s in these.I love that this product is sugar-free and non-gmo and that it includes organic ingredients.I feel good about the amounts of each vitamin here and %DV as compared to other prenatals.As far as things I m not thrilled with, I don t like that this is packaged in plastic and would strongly prefer glass.Taste: I tried it straight and the taste is not fantastic but not that bad either kind of like apple cider vinegar mixed with bubble gum. I don t do morning smoothies, but if you do I think a fruit smoothie would help cover it up pretty well and dilute it a bit. I might try it in tea or keep taking it straight to just get it over with haven t decided yet. Or just take it fast and drown out with another taste after. Would personally prefer this taste over a giant pill.As far as ingredients go, I am concerned about potassium benzoate because I read that when combined with Vitamin C this creates trace levels of benzene. The FDA apparently thinks such levels are OK in soft drinks etc, but, I still don t feel great about it, and also, this isn t a soft drink. I m concerned about xantham gum too. I understand some preservatives may be required in order to keep up shelf-life, etc. but when a product is marketed as having organic ingredients and then contains stuff like this I can t help feeling nervous and TBH a bit duped. But I had stomach problems with a product that was more organic so not sure what to do.I would take this over a nonorganic prenatal any day, but I think I might look into other organic options that do not include the xantham gum and potassium benzoate. I took another organic prenatal a while ago that was a giant horse pill with no gel cap and that one had no preservatives but was very expensive and caused stomach problems for me. I am going to continue with this product for now, with those reservations. 4It's nice that you only have to take it once a ...I have absorption issues from years gastrointestinal problems so I really want to be sure I'm getting the appropriate nutrients for my baby. This is a very manageable vitamin to take. It's nice that you only have to take it once a day, as opposed to 3 a day like a lot of other prenatals. Someone mentioned in the questions that it tastes like a Flinstones vitamin and that couldn't be more accurate. I've seen a lot of complaints about the taste, but it's a vitamin so...it tastes like a vitamin! Taking it with a "chaser" of juice or another beverage could help, and it does say that you can mix it with your favorite beverage but honestly that sounds way worse than just taking a quick tablespoon. Very happy with this purchase and with Pink Stork products in general! 5Pink Stork is probably the best prenatal that I have found so farPink Stork is probably the best prenatal that I have found so far. I used to take this women's liquid multi vitamin about ten years ago which made me feel healthy and well-balanced, but hadn't been able to find that same one since. This is the closest to it that I've been able to find. My iron and vitamin D levels have tested pretty low in recent months and due to the iron deficiency, I would crave ice all the time. With Pink Stork, you can definitely taste and smell the iron in it and after the first month, I noticed that I don't crave ice anymore and other iron deficient symptoms I was having have also subsided. I still need to take an additional Vitamin D supplement, though. Furthermore, I can't swallow pills very well and most prenatals are those huge horse pills that leave a terrible after taste--BLEH! I have tried prenatal gummies, but the sugar content and absorption rate gave me pause. The taste of this one isn't awful, in my opinion, just very strong vitamin taste and as I mentioned, strong iron taste. I just dilute with a little bit of water (don't even need juice anymore) and a cube of ice and down it goes! Only thing is, I wish I could get it in stores so that I don't have to always order online, but it doesn't take too long to ship. Let me say that this really does everything it says. I'm always nauseous and have issues going, which cause serious cramping pain, when I get my period. I had none of that this time. This stuff really cleaned out my bowels, within 24 hours of my first dose, without any pain or issues that you may get when going through a cleanse. I felt much more hydrated without changing my fluid intake habits; I only have a drink with my meals. I slept better than I have in months. Woke up feeling fully awake and well rested. Some of my normal body aches have been improved, I have pain in my joints often. It wasn't completely gone but was notably lessened. The taste was great the first couple of doses and I doubled up on the dose to help it take effect faster. After the second week it started to taste and smell putrid. I tried to force myself to continue with but could not. I think it was because it had been left on my doorstep for IDK how long in 100 degree weather and the seal on the bottle was nearly popping off the bottle. So I ordered another bottle to test this; which I got yesterday and this one also sat in 90 degree weather for no one knows how long and I have the same issues. I seriously think this stuff should be shipped with dry ice or something to keep it cold. I really want to get my money back but I threw out the first bottle. On their website it says you can buy this at CVS, Target, and Walmart. I am going to look for some at these places instead of continuing to order it.ProDoes everything it says it will, really does work.ConTastes and smells like something decaying if left in the heat. Not being shipped correctly, should be shipped refrigerated/with dry ice. 3One week life changerMake sure to check the pink stork website for prices because currently it's $35 on amazon and $27 on pink stork website.That being said this stuff is amazing. I was taking the amazon brand gummy prenatal. Over the course of my first trimester of my second pregnancy I progressively felt more and more like just literal cow dung. Despite overall the pregnancy being easy overall no morning sickness just some significant lower back pain. Around 8 weeks I reached my lowest. I was basically bed ridden with a toddler. I work 2 days a week and I'm a student. My house was a mess I was calling off work and missing class. My symptoms were extreme fatigue and exhaustion despite doing basically nothing. I was having constant heart palps and difficulty breathing. I was dizzy and had no color to my face. My first pregnancy I was tired and wanted to sleep more but nothing like this. So I bought this pink stork liquid prenatal. I'm on a tight budget so I didn't really want to spend this much but it's totally worth it. I woke up this morning with 7 hours of sleep and I felt normal! I've been taking this prenatal for a week and I'm 9 weeks pregnant now. I got up and actually cleaned! I felt better on the second day but still awful but finally a week later I feel GOOD. I don't know how but my back has also stopped hurting near as bad. I used to not be able to do grocery shopping alone because of my back but it's a very faint ache now. I've taken many vitamins over my life. Some that were very expensive from special labs you could only get through a doctors office. Some even MORE expensive than this one and I've never ever had a vitamin have this much of an improvement on my wellbeing. I suspect I was very anemic but I have my first appointment next week and will request blood work. I'm going to continue taking this exclusively for another week and then start alternating between the liquid pink stork and the tablet pink stork to save some money. Also the liquid tastes HORRIBLE. 5That taste, though..I was hopeful after reading reviews that this would be a good vitamin for me. My body did absorb this better than most other vitamin capsules which always make me throw up; but the taste is AWFUL. I could not get passed it. The aftertaste lingers for a long time and while the product itself doesn't make me throw up, the taste gets me very close to it. I cancelled my subscribe and save and opted for tablets from the same company. I know in the long run the liquid is probably better health wise, but it won't do me any good if it just stays in my refrigerator because I can't bring myself to drink it. 2
