Will be purchasing more. 5Improve Your PlumbingI tried this clay because I heard comments about its effectiveness from several different sources including health practitioners. The online comments make interesting and encouraging reading.It works beautifully to clean out the digestive tract without sending you running to the bathroom. It sounds like a harsh thing to do, swallowing clay, but it has a gentle and thorough action on the gut. When mixed with water negative ions are formed which attract deposits stuck to the intestinal walls so they are eliminated from the body. There can be pounds of this stuff in there!I read that among the great effects this clay has is not only the completeness of the elimination it brings about but it is done in the absence of any foul odor. I actually found this to be true!! I was really impressed.When it comes to preparing the mixture, as some users complain, it does take a bit of effort but after using it a while and thanks to some suggestions from other reviewers I have found a comfortable and effective way to use it. After establishing how much is best for you to use, if you add some to water and let it sit a few hours it blends more easily into a paste which can be spooned out and mixed with a glass of water as needed. It does not spoil so it can sit around for a while. It should be taken with a tsp of psyllium powder in a glass of water to make sure the bentonite moves freely through the intestine.Very pleased with this regimen.5Extremely Helpful This has really helped with wounds, my daughter's eczema, and I have used it internally for an upset stomach. It worked very well. Be sure and go to the Redmond site and watch the videos on how to use it. At first, it really didn't seem to make much difference, but I realized I wasn't using it correctly when I watched the how-to videos on the Redmond site. That made ALL the difference. I highly recommend it! 5Amazing resultsI haven't been using this as much as I should but after the results last night I think it will become a 2x a week thing. I had some bad break outs on my face and back and they were red and angry. I made a "paste" (I say this in quotes because no matter what when I mix this with water I get clumps and pieces that just don't seem to fully mix with the water) and lathered it over my back break outs and my face. After 20 min I washed it all off. Areas where I had it on were red from increased circulation. Then before heading to bed I took my left over mixture and dabbed them on my painful pimples on my face. Upon waking in the morning all pimples were significantly reduced in size, one no longer hurting. My back break outs were less red and swollen (just from the 20 minute application!). I been using it for five years and I can't beat the flavor. 5Perfect Recipe Here is my recipe I SWEAR by to get the right consistency:1. Heaping tablespoon of the clay2. Capful of apple cider vinegar3. Three drops of tea tree oil4. Tablespoon of hot waterMix it all together, using the lid as a bowl, and add more clay, or water as you see fit. The vinegar helps it be more spreadable and the water mellows it out. Leave on for 15-20 minutes and rinse. This is now the only mask I use and I will be a lifelong customer! 5Love this clay!! I can't say enough about this clay! I mostly put it in capsules and take for stomach issues. Since gall bladder surgery things haven't been the same and my doctor said I would have to drink a powder they prescribe for cholesterol to control my issues. This works just as well if not better but without the nausea I felt from the other drink. Plus, this keeps me healthy in other ways by absorbing toxins and viruses if I feel I'm getting sick. Doesn't have a scent either, if anyone is ever curious about that. Very nice.5Detox bath must have. No detox bath is complete without some Bentonite Clay. You have to make sure that you sprinkle it in very lightly so it doesn't clump up or mix it in a glass measuring cup with some water and then add it to the bath. Also, when any of us are sick I mix up the clay with some water to make a paste and put it on the bottoms of our feet until it dries to suck out all the toxins. I also do the same thing for my armpits. I am a sweater, it's not cute sometimes but I've accepted it and when my deodorant starts to not work then that means it's time for a good detox of my armpits. It may sound super weird but give it a try! Make sure your armpits are deodorant stick free and then just wash it off in the shower when you're done. 5WORKS FOR MEI started drinking the clay about a month ago. I was wondering if it was really doing what I wanted because it seemed that when I added several things such as iodine and co factor minerals that I really started feeling SO much better. So I thought it was just the iodine. But now I have taken a break from it and I see that I am feeling much more sluggish in the mornings again, and I have more bloat in my tummy again. Thanks Redmond for an affordable product that is high quality.5Remarkable healing properties If I could only have one thing in my medicine cabinet it would be a jar of Redmond Clay. It has saved me so many times. The healing properties will boggle your mind. I use it to treat any wound or infection my family might get. First, I mix it with a small amount of water to make a paste. Then, I apply the poultice to the wound and cover it with Saran Wrap. Around the edges of the Saran Wrap I put medical tape to keep oxygen out so the clay doesn't dry out. It must stay moist on the wound! The clay has enormous drawing power to suck the infection or bacteria right out. I think of it this way- it's taking the bad stuff out all the while infusing all the minerals your body needs to heal right into the wound. It's amazing.While on vacation my daughter severely sunburned her legs. She was hysterical, and in so much pain. I've never seen a sunburn that bad. We were in the middle of nowhere and hours from a hospital. I mixed up a lot of clay and coated her legs from the knee down. It looked funny, of course, but the clay cooled her legs down enough for her to go to sleep. In the morning we washed it off and couldn't believe our eyes that the burn was almost healed. It's the stuff miracles are made of, I tell you.We have also used it for scorpion stings (apply as fast as you can and cover so the poison can be sucked out), other insect bites like bee stings, acne, and blisters, and detox baths. Another main use of the clay in our home is for stomach ailments. If you suffer from heartburn and are tired of taking antacids I suggest you try this. We mix a small amount in a mason jar or water bottle, put the lid on, and shake vigorously until all the little chunks are broken up. It's instant relief. It's also good for upset stomachs and diarrhea.I have been using Redmond Clay for about 6 years now. It's something that I won't ever let us run out of. I always pay full price for it, and I consider it very inexpensive for how much I get and the wide variety of uses it offers. 5
