Great helpersMade convalescing so much easier. It was good to have tools to help do the things I used to be able to do with them... especially liked the picker upper and the sock tool.5Adequate not greatRecoverying from hip surgery and two tools were essential. I read reviews and I agree with several I read. There are only two tools that I used on a daily basis, the grabber and the hook tool. Recouping at home I don't wear socks or shoes that require a shoe horn so those two items were not used at all.What would have suited my needs more would have been a longer grabber. The one in the set is too short and is definitely cheaply made. I struggle picking up smaller items because there is about a half inch gap. I would definitely pay the extra and order items individually.3Research what you really needI never used the short shoehorn because my neighbor gave me a much needed longer one. I cannot bend to put my shoes on (after a recent surgery), thus the longer shoe horn is a must. The grabber stick broke, the handle mechanism, and I didn t use it that much. I will have to have my husband fix it. The best grabber I purchased at my local hardware store, made out of metal and rubber and much longer than this one offered. So the sock puller on thing and the cleaning sponge are what I use the most and so far, so good.3Some pieces excellent, others not useful.The grabber is the most used item. There s even a magnet in the end so I can even pick up Bobby pins. 5 starsThe sock aid is also great. I like ankle socks and the top of ankles don t get up all the way but the grabber finishes. 4.5 starsThe shoe horn is as described but useless if you can t bend; it s too short. So the product gets 5 stars but it s not for back/hip surgery.The sponge is a great idea but the handle is flimsy. It reaches everything needed but you won t scrub anything because it s not strong enough. 3stars.4Usable product for the priceThe sock on/off device was simply made, but if used correctly it does the job well and it does prevent you from having to reach out. - after having C2-T2 surgery/fusion I had to be very careful about bending/reaching. It does tend to stretch out your socks because of having to slip the top of the sock over the opening. The grabber is nice but I would rather go for a bit longer unit than this one, even though the shorter one lets you reach areas around you without having to pull back on your arm. The shoe horn is what it is, but definitely worth it when you are wearing any shoes going out rather than just slippers. The soap / bar is a bit of a nuisance. If they would have made the sponge with maybe a multi-piece extendable handle it would have been better. Trying to wash everywhere kind of gets your elbows banged into the walls, Not a great back-scrubber when you are limited in range of reaching over your head or stretching. Otherwise okay for the money.4Makes Her Life EasierWorked great for my 84-year old mom who is recovering from two consecutive injuries. The reacher and the sock tool were the most help.5A must have !!I am 55 years old and had NO cartilage in my right Hip - thus a total rut Hip Replacement was a MUST ! Each of these 7 devices are a necessity in my everyday recovery !! I used them Before also since I was in so much pain and my mobility was soLimited . I cannot stress enough how important these are not only to make my daily routine possible, deminishing the pain but also aliviating loads of Stress !!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for an easier path to a better quality of life pain free 5Must haveI am an occupational therapist and have recommended this package for patients. All of the tools are well made. I would recommend this for anyone who has a difficult time bending over due to precautions, limitations, shortness of breath or easily fatigued. I plan on making more purchases in the future.5What a total collection of garbage. And a total rip-offWhat a total collection of garbage. And a total rip-off. Everything is super low quality worse than the 99 Cent Store offers. the only thing I can use is the grabber. Everything else is flimsy and terribly constructed. Do not buy this1Great kit, love it!Great kit for my needs following a total knee replacement. The sock assistant is a must and so is the grabber. These items were both shown to me during my hospital stay undergoing occupational therapy. Having the other items in the kit is a bonus. Very pleased and the price was just right.5
