This is my second one!My husband has ALS, and specialized pillows have become a way of life. I ordered the first one to put under his right ankle to keep his heel from touching the bed, as he was getting a pressure sore. With the strap shortened up with a safety pin (I will now sew it), he was no longer waking up in pain in the middle of the night, and not being able to get back to sleep. It felt so good, he asked for another for his left ankle, so this is it. Yeah, I know this is supposed to be a knee separator, but whatever works, I am grateful for. 5The fabric is soft but the foam is too squishy- ...The fabric is soft but the foam is too squishy- doesn't really hold my legs apart enough at night. Might be ok for a man, but for a woman with wider hips and more extreme leg angle, it is nowhere near sufficient. 3Memory Foam Knee Separator PillowThe Velcro strap is sewin onto the pillow in such a way that the ruff portion of the Velcro rubs against the legs. Not very conducive to a good nights sleep. 3Not badThis was not quite large enough for my purpose, which was to support my leg and hip when lying on my side while recovering from hip surgery. However, i think it will be good later on to keep my legs & back aligned. 3the Velcro fastener is positioned where it can easily scratch skinThe memory foam is not firm enough - the pillow works well for a minute then flattens to less than an inch in thickness - I might as well tie a towel around my knee.
