No more dramamineI love this product... I have acid reflux and upset stomach on a daily basis, this little band has actually cured the issue... I stumbled on this in a Kroger store, a few years back and have been buying them on Amazon ever since. They are amazing... If you try it, you won't believe it... Immediate effect of settling your stomach... 5Great for nausea caused by M ni re's diseaseI have M ni re's disease, which is a neurological vestibular disorder that causes motion sickness all the time, even if I am not doing anything aside from walking and turning my head or painting at my easel. My brother in law told me about these a few months ago. His son uses him for car sickness and he thought they might help me as well. I have never had acupuncture, and know nothing about acupressure, but these do help. I was skeptical but they are a very simple, inexpensive way to prevent nausea from escalating into needing Zofran (RX). Go to YouTube and search for a tutorial on where exactly to wear them on the wrist. The spot where the balls rest, matters. And you must wear both at the same time. It feels weird to have something that snug on your wrist but you won't care when it helps. Don't be surprised when they leave marks on your skin. I try to take them off and give my wrists a rest if I need to wear them for a long stretch.Here is how I am certain that they help me: I hadn't painted in a week because of nausea, but when I got these, I put them on and painted for an hour. Later that evening when I painted some more, I forgot to put these on again, and within ten minutes I had really bad motion sickness. So, they help prevent nausea but they help ease it too, if it is already coming on.Also, I bought a few pairs from different companies and they are identical. 5I don t go anywhere without these!I ve always gotten horribly motion sick, sea sick and more recently, air sick. I ve tried various remedies over the years. Ginger pills repeat on me and aren t super effective...probably because they only ease nausea, not dizziness. Dramamine works but makes me way too drowsy to function. Chewing gum is a joke.Sea Bands, however, are wonderfully effective without side effects. They are easy to use. You just put them with the little plastic disc over the pressure point on your wrists (two finger lengths away from your palms). They are comfortable so I forget that I have them on. With them on I don t feel the slightest bit of nausea or dizziness. I have even been drunk on booze cruises without feeling sick! I have also washed them (air dry) and they still work perfectly. I ve been using these for over ten years and have never had a pair unravel. I only replace them if I lose one or if the bands are feeling a little loose on my wrists (this takes a long time). I strongly recommend Sea Bands to anyone who suffers from any kind of motion sickness. 5Sea sickness preventionThe Sea-band anti-sea sickness bands really work for me. I have a tendency to get sea sick, even though newer cruise ships are stabilized enough that they hardly list. I used them during the first 2 days of my cruise and found that after that, I became used to the ship's movement and didn't need them unless the sea got rough. Then, I would put them back on. The bands did fit a little too snug for my wrist. I think I wear a size 8" bracelet. But they weren't uncomfortable. You simply pull the elastic band on and place the small little knob about 2"-3" above your wrist line. They are acupressure bands that works for me. My friend uses them in addition to the patches she gets from her doctor and they gave her the little extra boost to feel okay. 5It works!These bands honestly saved me from missing experiences I would ve regretted missing out on. I suffer from headaches and motion sickness and decided to give these a shot for my Hawaii trip.These worked through endless amount of winding roads and boat rides out to the ocean on the excursions I opted in for. I appreciate how the band is made of cloth so that you could wash it if you need to bring it in the water. It also comes with a handy storage case which is a plus. Will most definitely be taking these with me on future trips. 4They need to start having sizes....I was hesitant to get these because people keep saying they're on the smaller side.However they do fit...they're ment to be tight.I am pregnant and wanted to see if these helped. I've been having horrible morning sickness..some days I just can't keep anything down...and I'll be up all night puking...too. These came a day after one...I was able to keep food and water down..but was feeling like I'd throw up still..specially with movement.I put these on when I got them around 1-2pm..wasn't sure how well they work until I took one off while I was eating...I almost threw up. I ended up sleeping with them on..they didn't bother me.They don't work 100% but they are helping me just enough.I will probably buy more just to have two...My issue though is the right ones tighter and I've been having to move it to stop it from hurting.They really should start making more adjustable ones. I do have a larger wrist...I got these because I saw a few male reviews. I think if you have hug man wrist these wouldn't fit.Also not really shower friendly.I think it varies from person to person on working or not. 4They are comfortable, though it takes a little getting used to ...These little bands really work. They are comfortable, though it takes a little getting used to if you are like me and not used to having something on your wrists.I am very satisfied. I like that it is a natural remedy and unlike the pills that have side effects like drowsiness, these are healthy, simple, and convenient. 5Helped a little, and every bit countsI'm not sure how much these helped with my morning sickness... I felt maybe 10 to 20 percent better wearing these? Because I wore them all day, my skin was a little sore where the button is but that got better after a week or two. It may be worth noting that the only two times I actually vomited were when I had taken these off. 4Truly a life saver!I am 8 weeks pregnant and have been dealing with all day, unrelenting, extreme nausea for the last three weeks.Not every product works for every person. So while every user may not share my experience, I believe you should at least try.I had tried everything. Fresh ginger and lemon in my water, two different types of ginger candy, one that was specifically made for morning sickness, eating before getting out of bed in the morning, eating every two hours (including during the night), Reglan (a prescription anti nausea medication prescribed by a doctor), Vitamin B6, and all the foods that tend to ease nausea including mints, gum, peppermint, lemon, crackers, chicken noodle soup, ginger ale, and citrus fruits.Nothing worked.I ordered these bands prior to trying a few of the other things but they took a little while to arrive (which would be my only downfall). Almost immediately after putting them on I felt relief. When I say the nausea is completely gone, I am not exxagerating. These wristbands are truly a life saver.Again, everyone is different, but I hope that I can help at least one person who is going through what I went through. 5Still working great after 4 months!The older I have become (32yrs) the worse my motion sickness has become. I decided to purchase these to help with road trips as I was often not feeling well just simply sitting in the passenger seat. These have helped a lot! I'd also like to note, I used these while traveling in curvy and cliff driving in New Zealand and they also worked very well! They were a little tight, but again you need the tightness for them to work effectively. I also credit these to helping with a small boat (~60 passengers) overnight trip as well. I would highly recommend these! I plan on purchasing another pair locally (Target) and keep in my husband's truck when we do road trips in case I accidentally forget my main pair. 5
