Super Comfortable!These things are great! I saw them in the store for $40 and then found them here on amazon for half the price. They provide a good amount of support and add a lot of cushion. Buyer beware though, some shoes don t have the vertical space to house this insole and your foot. It fits perfect in all of my running shoes and one pair of my work boots. But my newest pair of redwings don t have enough vertical space for my foot and the insert, ends up putting pressure on the bridge of my foot.Would still buy them again! They re pretty great! 5The only insoles for me!A year ago, I went to a physical therapist to look for something to help ease my pain from shin splints and fatigued arches during my runs. The therapist found I had high arches. Along with a new pair of shoes, I was recommended these insoles.Folks, the difference is night and day. Within a week I noticed complete relief and finally felt comfortable running again.I recently got a new pair of shoes and thought I'd skip insoles this time. It took me two weeks before i interrupted my workout to order another pair.The bottoms are rigid, but the arch feels like someone took a wedge of stress ball and placed it just where I need it. The perfect running companion. 5Worth the priceI don't have a medical condition with my feet, but I do have a job where I stand for more than 6 hours straight without moving for more than 3 feet in any direction. So my problem is more to do with general fatigue and arch placement. Over time my knee joints and the soles of my feet have all gotten more and more difficult to address. I've tried different types of cushioning inserts, but that don't really provide any support, and they wear out quickly.So after a couple years of all that, I finally broke down and bought these Spenco insoles. So far, so good. I'm happy with the purchase.To anyone else out there, I would say: keep in mind that you have been treating your feet badly for several years. Your leg, back, and feet muscles are all mis-shapen and badly alligned. Your foot arches are flatter that they should be because you have been wearing fashion shoes all your life instead of footwear that provide actual support and enhance your performance and bone density. That being the case, once you start wearing corrective supports, all of that will come back to haunt you for a while as your body re-adjusts. It's not the fault of the insole that you're feeling that pain. It's just a sign that your body is trying to get fit again.I have given 4 stars. I am reserving the 5th for a later edit after I've worn them a bit longer, if deserved. 4IT Band Issues HEALED!I play soccer almost twice a week on either turf/grass and have been suffering from right knee/hip issues over the last 6 months. I went to a physical therapist who didn't give me much advice other than exercise more, run with better form, and try not to over do it when playing soccer. I tried this for the first 3 months, even bought 2-3 new pairs of cleats (adidas, nike, and puma) to no avail.FINALLY someone recommended trying insoles and specifically recommended these.I know people have many different causes of IT band syndrome leading to knee/hip pain so maybe it won't cure everyone but for me, I can happily report that I'm playing 2-3x/week with NO IT band soreness/pain and am completely cured of my knee/hip issues. I'm also back to running like I used to and neglecting my IT band stretching exercises, but my physical therapist doesn't have to know that ;-)If you're having issues like I did, don't even think, just buy this product. The 30-40$ is worth the saved days of pain/discomfort/feeling like you're a million years old, following runs. 5DO NOT BUY, CANNOT RETURNThis product is complete junk, and now i am stuck with it. These are strictly foam, no rigid material at all to provide support. They weigh less than an ounce which shows how little material is there to support your foot. Do not waste your money, go buy a decent pair of powerstep protech control and save yourself the headache. Again, you cannot return these if you do not like them apparently. 1They look like a good quality insole, but they weren't for me.I ordered these because I have Spenco inserts now that work really well, but they don't have the heal cup. The ones I have now have a firm arch support which is what is needed. The soft arch supports have a tendency to squish especially over time. Anyway, I ordered these and they didn't work for me. I have narrow feet and I usually buy narrow shoes. These do not fit in narrow shoes. 3Proven through trials.I have used this insole for almost a decade now. I just bought my second pair. I fisrt started using them in my running shoes in the military. My arches got real messed up in the military, and these provided much needed support, as well as comfort. They definitely held up to a lot of abuse. Pricey for insoles but worth the money. 5Glad I gave them a tryI recently purchased a pair of Cabela Suede Mocs (item#: IK-823531). Within a couple of months, my feet were killing me. The insoles that came with these mocs had little support starting out, but they quickly got worse. The arch support was gone, and it caused some symptoms of plantar fasciitis (sore aching inner heel, tight cramping calves, etc). The ball of my foot also hurt because the insole had become very thin and the rubber of the inner part of the sole had a rough texture that dug into the bottom of my foot like walking on a metal grate barefoot - all day. I either had to get new shoes or try a different insole. Other than the insole, I liked the mocs. It seems like they will be very durable. So, I decided to research amazon's selection of insoles. I found the Spenco line which I had never heard of. All their insoles got pretty good reviews, but this one seemed to offer what I was looking for. I'm glad I gave them a try! The balls of my feet had instant relief. I could tell that the arch support was much better than the shoe's original insoles. Within about a week, I could tell they were already working. My heels hurt less each day. I don't know how long they will last, so I can't speak to that. One reviewer said they get about a year of life out of these. If that is true, it is well worth it to me. 5Didn't help meI was in the market for a new pair of insoles after my old ones wore out and wanted to try something different. I don't know why I didn't stick with the Powerstep insoles. Those lasted me a year and really helped my feet. These insoles have done nothing for me. My feet still ache at the end of the day. Not sure how there were so many rave reviews. I stand 8 hours a day and have plantar fasciitis so I needed these to work. Back to Power step for me. 2Great quality insert for a great price!This is my first official amazon review, but considering this is about the 4th pair of these I have purchased I thought it was about time! These inserts are the best especially for the price. I have run 2 full marathons and many half marathons in these... they last longer than the shoes! I have high arches and over pronate in my forefoot so these inserts help control some of that. I am a physical therapist and have also recommended them to a few patients as an inexpensive alternative to orthotics and have had some great feed back! I have tried super feet too but have had better relief with these! 5
