Worthy of the nameI'm not necessarily a huge hot cocoa person, but I have been enjoying cocoa a lot recently with the Keurig.Amazon recommended this, and I love Reese's peanut butter cups. So I figured I'd check it out.I am glad I did.This is seriously awesome stuff. Nice chocolate cocoa, with a hint of peanut butter, with actual peanut butter cup chunks in it. (Sounded weird to me, but it just works! )I'm very happy with this, and I will soon be ordering the 6-pack (which is much cheaper than buying the single can).Even so, this is definitely the best cocoa I've ever had. It's almost like it was made specifically for me. (It wasn't... as far as I'm aware of.)So THIS Stephen is definitely a fan of Stephen's Gourmet Hot Cocoa!!!5DeliciousStephen's is the BEST no sugar added hot cocoa I've ever tried. It blends perfectly. Other brands often have clumps of chocolate that don't completely melt into hot water or coffee. You have to use the back of a spoon to smash them into the hot liquid.Best of all is the taste. It's perfect.5NOT A LOW SUGAR FOOD!Ok, this tastes REALLY good. It's excellent hot chocolate. So why am I rating it poorly? Because it is in no way low sugar. Not even close. No sugar added? B.S. They didn't add table sugar, sure. What they did add is "corn syrup solids". What is a "corn syrup solid"? It's corn syrup that's had the water taken out. It's sugar. Specifically, it's about 80% straight glucose. This product contains 18g of total sugars per 2 LEVEL tablespoons. Their regular milk chocolate product contains 22g of sugar per 3 ROUNDED tablespoons. Even if we ignore the level vs. rounded thing and just say that I make one mug of "no sugar added" hot cocoa and one mug of regular milk chocolate hot cocoa, but I use the same amount of powder in each mug, the "no sugar added" mug will contain 27g of sugar, and the regular will contain only 22g sugar. THIS HAS MORE SUGAR PER VOLUME THAN THE REGULAR STUFF!1Stephen's White Chocolate Peppermint Gourmet1.5 TBS moderately heaping vs 2.0 TBS heaping, the prior is equally enjoyable in flavor, just not as sweet, but honestly, enjoy it as you like it, there's no wrong way. White Chocolate Peppermint is perfect enjoyed in coffee.5No Sugar added? Why 22 grams carbs per serving?Deceptive labeling! As a diabetic, I read labels often. Opened container and mixed some up. Taste good, but so sweet. How'd they do that? Maybe added lactose from milk to the powder milk in it? 22 grams of carbs per 2 TBS serving! That's far too much for my diet. Not at all pleased about this deception! Will Never buy this again!3Not exactly sure how to rate thisI bought this mostly based on the reviews. I really wanted hot chocolate from Stephen's, but amazon didn't have it. I stumbled across this and thought I would try it. It is white, even though "cocoa" is in the title...in case you didn't figure that out! I did realize it wasn't chocolate, but didn't really know what to expect.The best way I can describe it is that it tastes like a vanilla milkshake, but hot! I happen to love vanilla milkshakes way more than chocolate ones (but hate drinking milk, go figure), but somehow, I haven gotten used to this product after about a week. I have 6 cans now, so I have many more opportunities to try! It may just be that I sort of mentally "expect" hot chocolate and I have to retrain my slow brain! It is interesting and different, and I still drink it, and almost like it, but still would pick pick the hot chocolate over this. Definitely worth a try if you like vanilla.4Misleading Ingredient label.Sadly the front states item is made with Splend aka sucralose, after receiving I read the ingredient list and it lists aspartame. NOT THE SAME, and if have an allergy to aspartame very dangerous!1Yum!I love this stuff. I have some hot chocolate that I got from Colombia but it is stovetop only. Sometimes I want some hot cocoa that's quick and this is great. I just add the mix to my cup and get the hot water from my keurig machine and Iv'e got great hot cocoa in a few minutes. I prefer the dark chocolate vs the milk chocolate because it has a richer flavor. So yummy!5Delicious....you won't want to share!If you buy this product HIDE it from your spouse and children! Otherwise, you might find that you only had the opportunity to enjoy one or two cups before your beloved family members drink it all up! This drink is amazingly delicious. My husband said it had just the right amount of peanut butter flavor to it. I would have preferred a stronger peanut flavor, but it is still undeniably delicious. There are actual chunks of peanut butter in this drink! Yum! This is definitely a repeat purchase, but next time, I am hiding the canister behind the cans of vegetables......a place they will never look to find it. The next canister will be mine.....all mine!!!!5TASTY, SMOOTH AND SILKYThese were bought to use the contents as gifts in a 3-jar "snowman". The feedback from the people I gave them to is very positive, they loved the white chocolate cocoa. I give it 5 stars because not only is it tasty, but it is smooth and creamy with lots of flavor. You can use it in hot water or milk (I use it to make my own Mocha's along with Caffe D'Vita White Chocolate Cappuccino Mix, and it is absolutely wonderful added into coffee!). The powder is silky and not clumpy, and it mixes with hot liquid perfectly - no lumps or clumps. It is also not overly sweet (which I was concerned about). I am very pleased with this product, and will purchase again.5
