Definitely works!Why didn't I know about these sooner?! My sister recommended these Swanson 16 Strain Probiotics to me after her friend recommended them to her. These pills are amazing! I was skeptical about the benefits, but after a few days, my battle with chronic constipation ended! Before these pills, I was drinking at least 15-16 glasses of water and still couldn't produce normal bowel movements. Nothing was lacking in my diet, and I figured the constipation was due to my medications. I recommended them to my friends who are now believers in this product.5Mediocre at BestI decided to try Swanson Probiotic because: 1) The price was unbeatable; and 2) It also contains a prebiotic. I always take the probiotics on an empty stomach because they appear to work better and faster that way. However, these take significantly longer to start "working." At the risk of being guilty for TMI, let me just say that I'm not as "regular" as I am when I've taken other, slightly more expensive probiotics. Prior to starting the probiotic regimen, I would have a solid "movement" (sorry) maybe once or twice a week. With the best probiotics, I was going every single day, at least, and often more, than once a day. I will likely return to the other brand after I finish this one.2EXPIRED PRODUCT!Wasting my time... received product that EXPIRES in 2 weeks! Suspicious that expiration date was covered by a second barcode sticker!1Good probiotic but expiration date is shamefulWith regard to the probiotic s efficacy, it does seem to be as effective as my previous dependable probiotics at a good price, so I m happy with it. However, I m very disappointed in the fact that this bottle expires May 2019. I believe that if they want to pawn their nearly expired bottles, without notifying us of the near pending expiration date clearly in the product description, then that is bad form.3Great value...Great resultsIt was a little rough on my system for the first 2 weeks. It only requires taking one capsule a day. I have seen results in less than a months time. Many of my family members have started using this product as well. I highly recommend this low cost prebiotic and probiotic.5EXPIRATION DATEExpiration date on the bottle was 5/2019 for 120 tablets. I ordered 6 bottles, only on one bottle I can find the expiration date is 11/18, which means it is already expired when I ordered it!!!!
