Best Thai teaBest Thai tea, tastes just like my favorite Pho shop makes.Found this works best for meBoil 5 cups of waterSteep 1/2 cup of tea leaves and 3 cardamon pods for 5 minutesAdd 1/3 cup of sugarStrain and put in pitcher5Love this stuff!!I've been brewing this tea cold lately, just throw some of this tea in a gallon glass jar add some cold water then put it in the fridge for about 6-12 hours, very good and easy. When it is finished, put cream and sugar in and mix. Good stuff!!5I'm OBSESSED!There are no words for how much my honey and I love this tea! I LOVE thai tea and usually order it in restaurants but I don't drink cream and there is usually WAY too much sugar served in restaurants. I drink with unsweetened almond milk and crushed ice and it is yummy and almost no calories. I have several a day but the caffeine in the tea doesnt make me jittery. LOVE!!!!5Product received has different ingredients than those listed on AmazonI gave this product a 1-star rating because the product I received is not the same as what was described on the Amazon site. According to the image on Amazon, this contains only Tea and FD&C Yellow #6. But the ingredients on the package I received says that it also contains 5% sugar, and Artificial Flavor.1Use condensed milk instead of regular milkThe tea is great! I got the exact taste as what I got in the restaurant. The key is using condensed milk (do what is said in the instruction). I tried regular whole milk, but the taste is so different. Also, don't try to use less amount of tea leaves and sugar. I have to say you need to forget about the calories if you'd like to have a cup of tasteful Thai Tea. But for the great taste, it's worthy!5Tea leaves to brew Thai tea at home! Yes!Tastes just like what you'd get in the restaurant - at a much better price! Don't be confused by it being called "mix." This is just loose tea which must be brewed - my grandma taught me one tablespoon per cup of boiling water, steep for 5 minutes for black tea. Adjust amount of tea if you want it stronger or weaker. You must add your own sweetener and milk of choice. Restaurants typically used sweetened condensed milk. I like it unsweetened with just coconut "milk" over ice. Delicious!5great!great! I wanted it to be similar to the Thai Tea I buy for 4.00 a pop at the restaurant. Well after reading a lot of the reviews I took the chance. Let me tell you, I will never ever buy another 4.00 tea from those places. This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. It tastes the same if not better. I wanted to be able to make a gallon so that I can have it ready to go whenever I wanted, plus my 8 yr old loves, loves, loves this stuff, so does my hubby. After reading some reviews, I found a post about how to make 2 qts at a time so I tried it. Boil 2 qts of water, steep in 16 tsp of tea leaves, around 30-45 minutes, I added 1 can of evaporated milk and 1 can of sweetened condensed milk and I didn't measure but a good 1/4 cup of sugar. IT WAS PERFECT!! I might add a bit more tea next time because I do like mine stronger. But this was the perfect ratio. I love it!!5Making vegan Boba tea at home is lifeI love Boba tea but I do not love dairy and therefore I needed to start making my own vegan version at home. This tea from the moment it started brewing smelled exactly like what I was looking for and the taste did not disappoint. I did 4 cups water with 8 g tea and boiled for about five minutes. Strained it and added a few teaspoons of sugar as well as 1/4 coconut milk creamer, 1/4 cup coconut milk. It tastes pretty darn good. Next time I make it I will use almond milk because I don t like having too much coconut flavor come through but it is still delicious no matter what you decide to use! Saving the money and saving the cows!!5The real dealGood flavor. It's much better tasting than the brands I find in the local southern California Asian markets (Pantai Brand or Chicken brand-the pink one).Thai tea is actually just a black tea with a blend of spices and the orange food coloring. Each brand uses their own blend of spices. This one's got a great blend, which gives it a higher-end taste in my opinion. With the other brands I find that I keep adding sugar to hide the inferior tea quality -- this one is actually a really good and flavorful tea. It's strong without being bitter, and again whatever spices they're using to flavor their tea is excellent.Try this once and you'll probably say to yourself "this is what it's supposed to taste like!"5
