Closeted Tootsie Roll LoverFor decades now I've attended an annual picnic where a bag of candy is given at the entrance. I always dug through and got the 2 tootsie rolls out and ate them right away. Then I would crave a tootsie rolls at various times for the next year. Until that is, it occurred to me to buy a big bag and pig out. The only problem is that these are small and it's a challenge to unwrap them as fast as I can eat them.5We ordered a 760 count bag of Tootsie rolls from ...We ordered a 760 count bag of Tootsie rolls from Tradecozone. We paid $12.64.It arrived as seen in the original Tootsie roll packaging. Was fresh and delicious :). My kids are enjoying spending their allowance money on my 'piggy bank' candy machine.Picture attached:5Great value, but each 'Midgee' is very smallIf you need a bunch of Tootsie Rolls, this is about the best value that you are going to find. Keep in mind, however, that Tootsie Roll appears to make two different sized of 'Midgees', and these are the smaller version. I have bought 'Midgees' at the local grocery store in a smaller bag, and each individual candy is probably half-again larger. If your goal is to have a smaller portion size, then that might be just fine with you. Otherwise, you might want to consider getting your Tootsie Roll Midgees from a different source.4CHECK THE SELLER!!Would have given a "5" but the one's I received were in a grey package and all had a fair amount of stickiness on the individual wrappers. Also, you could taste that they had been stored near other candies as well because the tootsie's had absorbed their fruity flavor. Too bad. CHECK THE SELLER!!3Tiny, tiny Tootsie RoolsI had remembered the Tootsie Roll of my youth. These little bits measure 1/4 to 3/8" in diameter and approximately 1" in length and each is very nicely wrapped. The protective paper probably figures into the overall weight but one must unwrap a mess of them to get a mouthful. The candy tastes just like it used to but all those little nibbles were just a bit annoying. The company should make individual "rolls" somewhat bigger and less of a chore to eat.3Classic!Tootsie Rolls were my favorite candy growing up. I still love them today. This 5 pound bag of small tootsies arrived fresh and completely intact. Smaller then the average Tootsie Roll. Maybe that's what "midgees" means. In addition to an addictive flavor, the price each in this large format is a lot cheaper than the big discount store where I live, plus with free Prime shipping I don t have to go to the store. If you re looking for a good candy at an economical price, I would recommend this package.5The kids loved this candy!I bought this bag a few weeks ago to use as prizes at a school community fair.
