Perfect for pimplesThese are great- I use them to pop pimples that have come to a head. Way better than reusing a needle. I like that I can just toss this once I m done. Perfect!!!5Very good productI bought these for my hubby who just started tracking blood sugars, and says his thick skin makes it harder to get a good drop of blood. I've been doing it for a while and always used 30g or 33g, highest gauge I could find (higher g = thinner needle). Well, lemme tell ya- I used one of these the other day and couldn't even feel the needle go in. The drop of blood was smaller, but you need so little that it still worked fine. The higher g needles are longer, go deeper and get a bigger blood droplet; but they hurt more, too. If you don't get enough blood with these try pushing the plunger harder against your fingertip. That does help. My only complaint, and this is not against the product, is fulfilled by Amazon shipping time. I ordered test strips,etc, at the same time, shipped from vendor. These arrived in less than a week; from Amazon items, 2 weeks. Don't order these as fulfilled by Amazon if you need them quickly.4Worked well and almost painless for a newbieThis is the first time I have ever used a lancet so I was a bit worried about how it would feel. Maybe its because I sew and hate getting stabbed by my needle. These are extremely sharp and thin so it didn't hurt bad at all when I finally did it. I didn't bother using the pen, but I'm sure it is compatible (same brand). I'd rather just twist the safety top off and get it over with!5Mehit gets really cold however it's very bulky and not very flexible when you put it on your head so you have kind of like squared angles in places otherwise though it does get cold it lasts maybe a half hour and what it does do its job.5Work fine in my Alphatrak2I use these in my Alphatrak2 and they fit and work fine in the lancing device. My main gripe would be that the "cap" isn't easily able to be put back on, so you may as well not bother and just throw it in your sharps container.4Very little blood drawn and minimal pain.After lot of looking around and reading many reviews I bought these Lancets for my parents. They are first time users for self testing of blood sugar and very apprehensive due to pain it might cause. These 28 gauge lancets only bare minimum blood necessary for the test but also pain very less. My mother didn't even noticed that her finger was pricked. I purchased these along with TRUEresult Blood Glucose Kit.Would highly recommend the product.5
